I am generating a report in HTML, that my users can look over AND if
they want to, store in their own Access dbase.
Thing is, I do not know how to "read" that whole html page into a var
and store same in a field in Access.

Copy Part Of HTML Table To Another HTML Page
I have a table having 3 columns. There is a checkbox for each line. I need to get those lines whose checkboxes are checked, and show those lines to another webpage. Is there any way to do that? My concern is that all information in the table are in <tb></tb> pairs without any name tag. Any idea?
Displaying The HTML Code In HTML
I'm doing a content management system, whereby the user can enter the HTML code for a currency symbol, eg £ for £.y . when I bring this data backup, say they want to edit the settings, then my ASP/HTML page is rendering the HTML code, eg £, rather than showing the original value, eg £. If for example I put a space between the '&' and the 'pound;', eg & pound; then this will cause me problems because the user will think that they have to a put a space in or they file it with the space, which means the HTML code won't work any more. Is there a way round this?

ASP Report
I need some help for ASP report . I have made a ASP reporting system that generate reports using the dates and the other criteria user provides . I would like to know how do i export this ASP report to a excel file . I know how to export the ASP report to a .CSV text file but I need to export to a excel file in excel format . Currently if I try to export the ASP report to excel the format changes .
Report Formatting
I have users typing in information into a text box. Sometimes this information can be lengthy and contain simple formatting such as spacess between lines and line numbering. For example: 1. List item number one 2. List item number two I then have a report page that prints out this information. Unfortunately, the line spacing doesn't show up in the report. It's just all jumbled together. I'm just using <%= Notes %> to show the db field. Is there a way that I can show the formatting that was originally entered or do I need to use some kind of word processor like I am using to type this post?

Call Report
This may be in the wrong forum, but I'm going to give it a shot anyways. Here goes. I have a conference report that has 24 phone lines that are available for booking. Each call can take between 1-24 lines, you can have any number of calls as long as the number of lines they take up does not go over 24. I graphiclly represent this in a horizontal bar graph that displays the number of lines that are taken up for a particular half hour. Problem is when a meeting takes more than a half an hour, the meeting bar fills up for that whole time without any information on the meeting. What I would like to do is have each meeting when assigned in the DB or through an array be assigned a color and then that color appears on the graph under the time the meeting is. If there are multiple meetings (there almost always are), then the meeting that has been active the longest will be the first color bar on the graph. To make a way too long story short. I want to have a stacked bar chart that moves colors to the front as other's leave every half hour and move new ones to the back. If you want to look at what we have now visit URL.

Now, i want to link my asp pages to one of my crystal report which i have designed using CR9. I have searched all over for finding a solution, but I could not. I have microsoft access 2007 installed and want to make the following: The user can go to a website and there are a number of drop down lists which are from different tables in a database for example he might select P7-34043 as the project name in one drop down list then select his job in another drop down list the user would then after filling out all the boxes press submit and the server would generate a report automatically in microsoft access with the values he selected How would i go about doing this.

DebudDiag Report
I have used one tool called DebugDiag which analyses the Process and generates reports according. It tracks variaous activities like Memory leak, Process crash etc.... I ran the tool on Production server where are live application is running to find if there were any Memory leaks, process crash, hangs etc,.... I've got an ASP application on a server. It has some reports , but they're not that nice. They are usually just printing from the form, nothing fancy. I am looking at Crystal reports as an option. Do I have to have Crystal reports installed on the server for this to work? I am assuming I do.I was going to build it locally , then copy it to the server.

I am using Crystal Report 8.5 and extract sample crystal report 8.5 (aspxmps85). I am running SimpleSQLQueryString and using SmartViewerActiveX.asp for preview report. There was error when I try to export preview report in word and excel destination. For Excel destination there was comment “CRAXDRT Error Occurred on Server. -21471905 48 : Missing or out of date export DLL” I have installed all the service pack and all then monthly update pack for Crystal Report 8.5 and Crystal Report Enterprise 8.5. ASP Report Generation
Ok, I currently have an ASP application. In this application, an administrator will need the capacity to print reports of the data stored in a MySQL database. Let me note now that this is a college project, and I can only basically do what I am allowed to, rather than having full control over the server and making any necessary changes. The problem is, I don't have permission to write files from my application. How dumb is that? Anyway, I need an alternative way. Are there any ASP PDF converters or any similar that I can query the DB, get the necessary data then present it as a printable document? A temporary .txt file would have been sufficient, but now that that is ruled out, I need to find another way of doing this.

I saw many articles mentions RAS (Report Application Server), want to ask is it necessary to install RAS in order to display report in ASP? I installed crystal report 7 and was trying the aps samples that come along with cr7. I encounter following error 20535 Unable to connect: incorrect session parameters The error occurs when readrecords() is called. The report works fine in crystal report designer. I can preview the reports as well, but the above mentioned error is generated when called via the web.

I'm using Crystal Report 9 and classic ASP. I've found an example to make a dynamic query, with the "SQLQueryString" property. The example use a DB Access and it works fine. I've tried to use the same syntax connecting to Oracle, and it seems that my statement SQL is ignored (it just select all records, without conditions) What's wrong with it?
Better Error Report
I'm getting this error: ADODB.Field (0x80020009) Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record. the script has a few recordset and since this info doesn't offer a line as to where the error is I can't figure out how to fix it. Is there a way to get a more detailed error report? I only use my browser, there must be something better?

how can I disable the toolbar items, if I were to use the SmartViewerHTMLPage.asp in the SimpleParameterFields sample? That is, I created the reports using CrystalRuntime.Application.9 in my asp page and want to view it as a html page. But I can't find any information about how to disable the toolbar items that is being rendered. Using the ActiveXViewer is quite straight forward, but is it possible when rendering in html?

Users should provide ID and password in order to view reports. Is there any license issue in order to use Report Server? Creating An Exportable Report
I'd like to receive input on your opinions regarding creating a stanardized exportable report format. We primarily work in VB and ASP and will be moving to ASP.net later this year. Our primarily goal is to create something on which we can build upon. We've built a lot of reporting tools such as PDF via FDF Toolkit, export to .csv, ..rtf etc but haven't found anything yet that really is flexible and easy to work with.
Running Access Report
I know vb quite well now, but asp have only started in the last couple of days. I realise that it is not possible to create a report in Access through asp (nor in vb) but i know it is possible to run the report. Therefore, has anybody know how to run reports through ASP? I have found one web site that is seems useful, but i want to compare that code to anybody elses. If you have some code that does this then please post, as i need to get a better understanding.
