Asp Pages Randomly Showing As Blank White Pages
Using IIS 5.0 and sometime some asp pages (absolutely randomly) showing as blank white pages. So far only one way of fixing it - restart whole server. Restarting IIS, or specific web server not helping, only whole server. I enable server side and client side debugging, but no errors showing up... Connecting To SQL DB
I have a form that submits the information to a SQL database. The form has a two radiobuttons name="Cheese" with value="yes" OR value="no" and then collects contact info. The form submits to the SQL DB and I want to create a display page that will show the form and sort the form based on the name="Cheese" yes or no. All yes values will display form info under the yes column. All no values will display form info under the no column. So there are two columns displaying the information based the results of the SQL row name=Cheese. Connecting To Localhost
I have got a scenario where an asp script needs to request via xmlhttp a file sitting on the same server. The code all works find on my local machine. However, on the hosting server, it does not. The problem is that I am on a shared server and the server can't "see itself", i.e. it's probably blocked by the host to receive request from itself. The problems comes in as the server will hold multiple sites and use host headers to channel request. I thought of using "localhost" and some kind of header sending scenario to get the server to go to the correct subfolder/virtual host. However, googling has not brought up much.

I'm having some issues with a dll I've created to return an ADOConnection back to an ASP script. I successfully open my object: mytest = Server.CreateObject("mydll.database") I then attempt to use the connection: myConnection = mytest.getConnection This is where the script breaks down with an "Object required" error. I am able to access other methods in the dll, it just doesn't seem to be returning the database connnection successfully.

Connecting To SQL Server Database
my company is having me design a website for them and I did it in ASP (Classic), with the backend database being SQL Server 2000. I open the connection just fine, and everything seems to work but there's just one problem: It only connects to the database when I'm logged in as Administrator on the machine (or from a remote machine); if I use my own username/password, I get a 500 Internal Server Error. What's funnier is that if I set IIS to allow anonymous access, it won't let ANYONE connect to it. Any ideas what's the problem? I think it's something with the connection string (I told it to use a Trusted Connection because otherwise it was saying "[Username] is not associated with a trusted SQL Connection), but since I haven't used SQL Server in the past it might be something with that, as well.

I need to creat a login page for the website. Its an existing site that connects to SQL 7 with a local user in the database called 'maya'. It was written by a former employee. I want to be able to creat a table(called user) that has username & password in that database. I will add the users manually. I have an ASP web app with an SQL back end. It's currently connecting to an SQL Server 2000 database using an ODBC DSN. I am currently migrating to a new Windows 2003 Server machine and SQL Server 2005 Express. As usual, the app doesn't connect right away, but I've gone through all the new Windows 2003 Server security issues and I'm able to get a normal ASP page to display.
