3D Configurator

I have a job request to make a helicopter cofigurator. There would be 3-5 different helicopter models to choose from, and once you choose one, you apply different colors, logos, parts, etc. The toughest part is it needs to be in 3D. Once you've configured a helicopter, it needs to create a 3D rendering on the fly and load it as a movable 3d rendering. Is this at all possible...and if so, any suggestions / links to examples? I'm more of a designer, and less a programmer, so this hopefully there is a way without crazy programming. Thanks in advance...

3D Configurator
Hello,

I have a request to make a helicopter cofigurator. Once you've configured a helicopter, it needs to create a 3D rendering on the fly, load it, and then "fly away". Is this at all possible...and if so, any suggestions / links to examples? Car Vinyl Configurator
Im looking for examples on the web of car configurators - the only one I have come across that is close to something I wish to build is as follows:

http://69.89.75.111/default.asp

We are trying to build an web app that allows you to change the style of vinyl for a particular selection of cars - with a total of 180 variations. The user will also need to type their own words or message onto the car's vinyl.

Doesn anyone know of any examples on the web like this - I have had a good look but nothing has really come up.

Help appreciated!

Creating A Uniform Configurator Help
Hello,
I havent used Flash much in the past year and one of my clients would like to create a uniform configurator, whereas someone could choose certain features they want and it will show up on the Flash Display.

This is the example I was shown:
http://www.donalleson.com/uniform/baseball/index.php

Does anyone know if there is a 3rd party software that could set something like this up or was it most likely all done manually and hard coded?

If it was done manually... what would be a good estimate for how long it could possibly be to get something like this set up?

Thanks,
Brian

How Does This Configurator Module Work?
Hello,
I'm a PHP programmer that has some work that I need to do for a client.
He owns an online tshirt store and wants to develop a configurator similar to the own seen here: http://propercloth.com/custom-mens-shirts.php#

You can see as you select fabrics & components the image of the shirt on the left updates with the texturised version. My client already has a database of his materials ready to plug into something like this. I'm quite unfamilar with flash as I mainly do backend PHP and I was wondering if someone here might know how this flash module works or has some experience coding one so I can get my head around how this thing works.

What is required to create or how would I go about creating:
1. The base model tshirt
2. Individual components such as pockets that can be shown/hidden
3. The texturisation engine
4. Populating the base model with a selected material (colour)

Any advice much appreciated!
Marv.

Flash MX - Box Outline Around Custom Text On A Configurator Page
Basically, I am trying to find an answer for a co-worker. She is building a configurator page for a sales dept. It works, but she is stuck on one point. The page configures "jerseys" (you know, the type football players wear) for color, custom text on back, etc. She would like to have the option available to the end user to choose to have a box outline around the custom text on the back of the jersey. Also, she would like the ability to have the end user choose the color of the outlined box as well. Does anyone know how to do this? If so, please help us out...we have been searching for the answer on other forums and to no aveil. Thank you.

Respectfully,

Lucas W. Boyken
