After Effects With Flash MX- Possibly "Motion Blur" Effect
This site used an effect that I am trying to reproduce for my daughters porfolio and wanted to confirm what the name of the effect was. Now I am assuming that they used After Effects, but I could be wrong. Is anyone familiar with this technique that they used in creating this site? If it's the motion blur does anyone have a tutorial in how to replicate this technique?

Hi, I'm new here. Wondering if anybody know how to create the motion blur effect in flash similar with this http://www.sovietjeans.com/ As u can see in the example i mentioned above, the blurred object actualy has some level of 'transparancy' and it does not cover its background.

Note that this is not the simple motion blur that I found in Kirupa.com, which the background colour is in plain white...

Fast Motion Blur Effect With AS
Hi guys,

I saw this effect on many sites and I would like to recreate it as part of my project.

Basically the loding bar is replaced with the logo which lights up as the percentage goes up. I knwo how to achieve this.
But when the loading is finished the logo moves across the screen very fast and it has a motion blur behind.

I know that this could be achieved in Photoshop, but is there any way to mimic motion blur using duplicate mc?

The motion blur effect looks really slick.. what's the best/easiest way to apply it, given a JPEG image of an object I want to apply it to? I tried a quick rundown of a JPEG image.. loaded it in Photoshop, and saved it to an image, moved it, sized it down a bit, applied motion blur, saved to another image, moved, sized, blurred, saved, etc...down to the final frame..and imported all these into Flash. It looks pretty nice.

I was just wondering if there's a better way to do this.

Wonder how to have an object over just a few frames appear to have a motion blur on it as it moves from left to right then zooms in a bit, so that it looks all like one, short sharp movement - but with motion blur on it until it arrives at its last position?

[cs3] Text Effect With Motion Blur
Hi, im looking for a bit of help. Ive seen this effect numerous times before but im unable to find a tutorial or any help elsewhere. Basically I would like to create text that will slide in horizontally with a motion blur, slow down as it reaches the centre of the page (still moving slowly to allow the text to be read) then continue to slide with the motion blur. Would be preferred to export the movie as an earlier flash player version if possible. I intend to use this effect for a banner ad but I have absolutely no idea how to achieve it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Motion Blur Effect On A Tween
I love this tut (http://www.gotoandlearn.com/play?id=63) but when I tried to substitute the Ai with a Bitmap, the effect no longer worked. Not sure why? I was hoping to get a motion blur effect with a photo and short vertical tween. Also, I've trawled the web for such a solution, but can't find anything hooking up a tween with a blur. Anybody found anything along these lines? Oh, has to be AS 3.0. Thanks.

I'm looking for a nice way to show some text - and not just use tweening:
The text shall drop down, pause in the middle of the stage and then drop all the way down and dissapear. I would like it to have a motion blur effect and maybe somekind of a "rubberband" effect. Is that possible in action script?
I'm not that big of an actionscripter....

I have tried to understand the code in the directionalmotionblur.fla that i have attached here, but i cant extract just the bit of code that i need for my movieclip. All that i want to do is add the motionblur effect, i dont need all that mouseclick stuff

Wondering,, how do I create a motion blur directly in flash wothout importing an image with wind filter on it??

I just want a line to go from the top to the bottom and I want it to look like it really is in motion?? Without the blur it looks kinda boring.

The am looking to do something similar with an animation I'm currently working on.

It looks like a motion blur was applied to the image of the car and then imported with a tween applied moving the car from left to right? Can anyone provide some insight on this effect? Thanks.

I know that this has been asked alot of time and i do search the forum but non of the effects is really what i am looking for.

I do already have the 2 images(motion blur and normal).
Now, how do I create a motion blur tweening in flash mx?

I have tried the following using movie symbol:
TIMELINE
|111111|22222|33333|

1. motion blur picture with ease 100 in
2. normal picture
3. motion blur picture with ease 100 out

but the effect is not what I am looking for.
Its kind of difficult to put in words what i am looking for.

What I want is a non-moving motion blur tweening from motion blur to normal and stay as it is.

Would appreciate if anyone can help or provide any kind of links/resources.
Pardon me if this might sound lame, cos I am still new to flash.

I have seen effects done where it appears that the ball blurs as it moves.

Help With Blur/Vibration Effect, Please. Flash 8
I was wondering if I could get help with some transitions. I'm building myself a website in Flash 8 and I have a logo that's displayed in the center of the stage at all times.

I have 6 different colored logos. I would like the grey logo(main logo) to blur and jitter a little while blurred when it's moused-over.

I would also like to create a transition so that when people view a different section (lets say the teal colored section) of my site, the grey logo will blur and jitter while blurred, but also fade/transition into the teal logo. purple for the purple section, etc...

By themselves these codes I found work well. I would like to merge them so that I get the effect I described above.

Im have been trying to blur a set of MC's once you roll over a certain MC. I have a acomplished this and then decided that it would be nice for it to ease the blur in. I succeeded I then decided it would be nice to ease the blur out and I cannot seem to get it to work. Any advice or help would be much appreciated.

Hey, I've seen all these blur-type effects in a lot of flash movies, even banners...does anyone know how you do that? Make something look blurred for a sec? It's hard to descibe...well, if anyone has ever seen Thomas Lee's "Chipmunk Gangsta rap" movie(it's on newgrounds), he uses the blur effect a lot...just wondering if anyone knows how to do that. Blur Effect On Imported Images In Flash

I have imported a graphic into my timeline, which I would like to blur over a period of say 20 frames. Currently, the only way I can get the desired effect is to blur the image in photoshop and import the blurred images into flash. I would do this for the 20 frames I would like the blur to occur over. Obviously, this is going to make my flash file very big indeed.

Is there no way in ActionScript that I can pull in the actual image and perform the blur on the image, either over a number of frames of fractions of seconds??

Blur Effects Question
I just started experimenting with the Blur effect earlier today while I was working on a Flash intro for a friend of mine. I mean, I like how the blur thing is done but I'd like to change it somewhat. I want to make it so that the image being blurred doesn't disappear entirely. How can I do this? Just so nobody has trouble opening the Flash file, I have saved it in Flash MX format.

Blur And Shine Effects
I have been to alot of sites and seen an effect but I dont know how to duplicate it. One such effect is making text look shiny or blured. Also i want to know how to make things have a glowing effect.

An example of what I mean is at www.blitzds.com, after the intro look at the nav bar and the bottom buttons... See the blurry, glowing text? It almost looks like the text is energized.

Any comments or suggestions would be helpful.

I was wondering how to make a graphic blur when moused over ya know shaky shaker
I have been trying to move the graphic to the left and right in differant key frames but it dosen't look right
I want to make a effect when you mouse over the button the button vibrates back and forth.
I have also tried using photoshop and paintshop pro using motion blur but that didn/t work right eaither
