Bear With Me...
I use Flash about every 6 months on projects and forget stuff in between!

I have a series of movie clips that I want to sequentially play in order in a master movie clip, i.e., when the first the clip finishes playing, the second one starts, etc. without any button involvement. what is the script to have the event of the first clip ending start the second movie? also, can all the "child" movies be in the same frame in the "parent", or should they be in successive frames?

is it possible to import a linked HTML page - i.e. link to a page hosted elsewhere and show that page within a scrollbox component within my movie?

If so? How?

Did this in my second year of college.

LineTo, CurveTo, MathRandom inside a function that ran on the enter frame....with the ability to change the line type.

Rotation Question. Bear With Me, Please.
I've searched a few flash sites that came up in google searches, I've looked around here for anything that might help, I've done a search of the forum for my question, but nothing posted so far answers it. If this IS answered somewhere on the site, and i somehow missed it, I apologize in advance.

I drew a car. I made a wheel that was a movie clip symbol. I want all instances of the wheel to rotate continuously, but I can't figure out how to do it.

I'm VERY new to flash animation. I've been going to Newgrounds for years, but I've never tried using flash to make anything until a week ago. I've got no grasp on using actionscript, and I barely ahve the UI and tweening down. I've tried messing with different things, but nothing works.

The first thing I tried was editing the movie clip. I put a keyframe in frame 5. I tweened the wheel rotating 360 degrees by the 5th frame. Then I put an actionscript in frame 5 that said "goto frame 1 and play"

I assumed that would make it loop over and over again, but it just stopped at frame 5. Maybe it's something obvious, or tha fact that I'm new, but I don't see what I'm doing wrong.

Help?

Major Bug Bear - Removing Downloads In Posts
[grumble]
I know i'm no moderator or anything, but i have a suggestion.

if you're going to post downloads couldn't people create a folder for forum stuff and leave uploads in there forever because i've been reading pages and download links to files that have been removed are just a pain in the arse. Try to follow the gyst of the thread and you can't because... guess what 'error 404' .

If you're gonna refer to files why don't you attach them to the post so people down the line can follow what's going on.

That's my grumble over
