Cool Image Slider Like This...?
Hi guys

The important thing is that it loops... can only figure out how to make a single MC slide from one end to the other.

I found how to make slider smaller or bigger in this forum but I don't know what wrong of my buttons. The width of the slider is not same as all buttons. It looks smaller and on the right more.

Actually, I would like to make the same slider menu at <A href="http://www.grouplotus.com/grp/">http://www.grouplotus.com/grp/. Their buttons can change color even mouse out. Could you or someone else can teach me how to do that?

Slider Wont Work For My Menu Slider
i tried following this tut on a menu slider http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx20...th_slider2.htm, but I cant seem to get the slider to work, whenever I test the movie the slider just slides to the left corner and than doesnt move after that. anyone know what is going on or have any advice??

i posted my swf file to show you and then the fla file if anyone actually wants to see everything.

Im kinda new to flash so I obviously dont know what is wrong. Any help would be very appreciated.

Linking Problems W/ Cool Menu FX Menu
Hi, I have a Flash site that I created a side menu for using Cool Menu FX and can be viewed at the link below:

The menu loads externally in the Flash site using the LoadMovie command. I set up links for the side menu buttons using Cool Menu FX to go to specific frame labels specified as named anchors (ie., fcflashsite.html#howworks) in the Flash site file. If the menu file is opened in Macromedia Player, the buttons work in that they open the browser window and it goes to the correct anchor label in the Flash site file. However, when the menu is viewed in the site as in the above URL the buttons don't work at all. Any ideas what is wrong? It seems like something simple. Please let me know. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!

Hi,

I am trying to make a menu similar to the one on

I have made my own version of this but to make the menu come down
i had to make the whole square a button, and thus the cursor will
turn into a pointing hand even when im not on a link on the menu.

How do i NOT make the "moving menu" a button but still lets it
come down while i roll the cursor over it (and the cursor continues
like an arrow)

I'm want to know who this menu form this site is done, i mean it is done using action script only.
I know that there are some mcs when the menu is open ,but i dont know how to make the open faze.
If the first button(from the main menu) is open and u click the secon button from the main menu , firss the menu one closes and then the second menu is open.
And the same thing if the second si open and u press the first.

Anyone have an tutorial or an fla will be cool

For help I am ready to giveout one or two Gmail Invites!!!

... from what I can tell it's all text and actionscript... am I right? if I am would someone be kind enough to point me to a tutorial where i can learn how to make a menu similar to this one. If not can somone at least tell me if I can accomplish a similar result with the xml flash menu template that comes with flash.

At http://www.miniusa.com there is a photo gallery of the new mini. Several photos slide quickly to the left as you move the mouse to the left and vice versa. How is this accomplished?

Every time you click on a new image, the frame resizes itself to fit the new image.

It does this very smoothly, using actionscripting.

I suppose that there is some way to do this, but I am kind of lost on it. I'm hoping you can walk me through it.

Was wondering how he created the effect on the product menus...again, simple, but kinda cool. Any specicfic tutorials around that cover this..? Thanx.

Once and for all, I'd like to figure out how this menu was done.

Basically, every button you click loads a new picture. The drop shadow surrounding each picture resizes with every click...via actionscript.

How is this achieved? I'd love to have a simple break down of it, and or a working sample of a couple of buttons altering a movie clip in just such a way.

This is a cool menu concept but I think it was made in an older version of flash and there might be some scripting errors. I found this on flash kit .com and can't figure out how to make the buttons load movies into my main.swf instead of taking people to a separate url.

Hi, I am trying to add a cool sort of menu into my interface, its a box when the user puts their mouse over it, the box expands and there is another box with buttons in it, which also expands and gives u options, if u want to know what i am talking about, the effect is at this site

ok this is the question!:
i've try to personalize the menu find in this page:
here
the script work fine but if i try to go on the buttons from a vertical position (up to down in the movie for ex.) these buttons remains in state of "onRollOver" without replace in the start position when i reach the downside of my movie.
By the way in orrizontal works fine!
Any suggestions?

Another question:
What is the command line where i can choice how will be the distance between the button and the mouse pointer before the button will start his movement to scale?
