Flash :: Export Image Out Of Flash?

Export Image: Export All Frames As Individual Swf
I'm creating several flash files with 20-40 frames each using MX 2004 Pro. I need to export each frame as an individual .swf file. I've found that this can be done through File->Export->Export Image. However, I have to export each one individually, and this becomes very time consuming. Does anyone know of a way to export all the frames as individual .swf files in one step? Am I missing something simple here?

Export Flash Image To Svg?
Hi! Everyone:

I wonder if there is any known easy way to export from Flash to SVG format?

The only way I know so far is to export as AI or EPS from Flash and then bring the file in Illustrator 10 and then save as SVG. But I have a lot of files to convert and wonder

- if there is a fast and easier application to do so
- if there is any way I can do so without color shift.

Flash Image Export
I am working on a graphics application, and I was wondering if there was any way to do a sort of...image capture of the flash movie as it stands (or a region of it). I would then post this image to a server for storage (using some other kind of script). I haven't found a good way of doing this, but admittedly I've not looked much. Is it possible this requires an additional flash plugin? I am using Flash v5, with no current add-ins.

I will admit I've not searched the tutorials extensively, so if anyone wants to point me to a good one (or a good discussion thread) I'll still be just as thrilled =)

I am trying to find a way to make an application that will export either a vector file or a high quality image for print after the end-user has added their text and made some size changes.

Is there any way that anyone can think of to do this, might require something other than Flash and just uses Flash to display the sample. I just really want to do this.

I wanna make a kinda mr potatoe head drag and drop dress a person type thing, and then when the user has made there own composition out of the drag and drop layers i want them to be able to export an jpg or bmp image out to their computers desktop.

I cant think of any way to do it , does anyone have any ideas?

its all done.

now last part, i need that image be exported to mail or to send to

Live Pdf/image Export From Flash?

I need to be able to export an image of a moviclip from flash - that will contain various items that have been moved around recoloured and patterned etc. The client currently wants this as a jpeg. Can this be done? I have come across export to pdf functionality on this site - http://www.bernhardwolff.com - does anybody know how this has been done? Im sure a pdf would be just as suitable for my needs.

How Do I Export A Transparent Image From Flash So I Can Use It As A GIF

I am very new to flash.

I have recently purchased a website template which has already got an animation created.

There is an image of a bee i want to use as a logo known in flash as a symbol. This image is GIF and can be moved around with any background moving with it.

However I cannot work out how to save this as a GIF as when i try to and open it in photoshop there is a black background appearing.

Can anyone help as i really want to use this as a logo.

Flash Export Image Distortion
hello all,

having a problem with exporting images from flash to the web.
the images look great while being exported from the authoring environment into the flash player as well as being viewed through a web browser calling the file locally off of my computer.
as soon as it goes online and then viewed through a web browser the image distorts.

i have imported images compressed and not compressed as gifs, pngs and jpegs. i have made all of the sizes outside of flash so no resizing in the program at all. i have pictures placed on whole number pixels like x 452 not x 452.3. i have tried to break images apart then group them back togther. i have tried smoothing but that degrades the image and makes it look more blured. i have changed my export settings to no compression and jpeg quality to 100%. i have also messed around w/some of the properties setting in each photo file in the library. i have even tried publishing the flash file off of mac os x and windows xp and putting it line.

Hey there,

I am wanting to be able to save or export or print out my swf.. not sure where to Start other than knowing that it will probably require php.

Just doing a 'print screen' on the keyboard wont work because the swf is bigger than my screen resolution.

Export Image (w/ Transparent Bg) From Flash To Photoshop
I'm trying to export a transparent .png from flash to photoshop but the bg (which is supposed to be an alpha channel) is showing up as the stage color. I've done it before, but it seems that the settings are wrong in either flash or photoshop (don't know which). Does anybody have the right settings to use?

Export Image FROM A Flash Movie/application
We are using flash to create a "product demo" by creating a GUI for people to add text and images to dynamically create a "proof" of the final product. This is an online application that has a xml and sql data back end.

What we now want to do is have this "flash application" export a flat image of what this final product would look like. So basically, export a flat jpg of the "product demo" from within the swf file.

Anybody know if this is possible?

Export Image From Flash - Willing To Trade Service
Hello, I am working on a project that needs to be presented soon. (meaning 3 weeks)

I have purchased a file from flashden.net that allows the user to draw on a folded piece of paper and make a snowflake. File lives here:

I need to create a save feature which will save the user created snowflake (to a database I assume) so that the user may email a link (which I already have built using php) to a friend and when the friend opens the email they will see the animation of the snowflake. in a new window.

The user will be able to save their creation, and get a link with an ID, which when loaded opens a flash which loads the different clothes saved in the ID-file.

But there is an potentially better solution, if there is SOME WAY to save the doll, created in flash, as a .jpg on the server instead, that would be amazing. I doubt there is some way to do this directly from flash, but i thought maybe you can make some kind of script in java, shockwave, xml or something that makes a screenshot of a selected piece of the screen(which would be where the flash is) and save THAT as an image?
It's just an idea i have, maybe there is another way? I know flashfiles can be more or less read into shockwave files, and shockwave can export images. But im not sure shockwave reads it properly enough...

Any thoughts or ideas would be MOST appreciated.

Export Image From Flash To .ai Or .eps And Keep Transparent Colors.
Is there a way to, when I have finished this wonderful drawing in Flash with transparent colors, to keep them when I export them from Flash to Illustrator as an .ai or .eps?
I'd like my images to be scalable and rezizable (to be able to be really BIG) when I deliver them.

Export Image Sequence From AS Flash File

I am new to flash I am using flash professional 8 and publishing at version 6 (although I can publish to any version for this issue). I am using ActionScript 2.0 and am animating objects using code instead of tweens. I need to export the animation out as separate frames. I need the image sequence from the flash to use in other applications and other uses. If anyone has any idea on how to do this I'd appreciate knowing. I'd prefer to not have to buy more software of course but if that is the case and it is the best way let me know.

I can't figure out to export an animated gif of my movie without having to export it with a web page. Like the avatars a lot of people have I can save and view with Windows Picture/Fax Viewer and it will be animated, but I can't figure out how to save anything like that.

'pixels' On Export Image
When we export our movie in flash as an image (ex:jpg),
we can set the output's height and width. (of course i can manage that)
but I don't know what to type on 'pixels'.
I noticed that as the number of pixels increase,
height and with also increases on its value.

I want know what's the difference between high number of pixels and low number of pixels. When should i enter small value and when should i choose a high value.

Export Image Distortion
Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me with a minor annoyance I'm having when exporting selected buttons from flash 5 as images for manipulation with in PS. When I export the image, the borders are discolored as seen in the example below. I've tried the simple copy/paste method, but that results in even weirder distortion. And the I get the same distorted results with png, jpg, and bmp at 0 compression and flash won't let me try exporting an image that is broken apart. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated thanks.

hey people,

when i export an image in my flash movie it goes all crunchy. it hasnt been scaled in flash, the image compression in publish setings is at 100% and toggling the 'use smothing' check box in the image propities dosnt seem to do much at all.

its not a browser thing either, i crunhes up in flash player as well.

anyone got any idea? ive attatched a screenshot to show how the image looks.

I have problems with exporting a Vector composition to a vector image format with the same RGB colours. Whatever I do, currently the eps/ai files are all in CMYK. Is there any way to overcome this problem? Thanks a lot !

Why would my image look so terrible after exporting the movie?

I tried converting it to a Flash graphic, and even that didn't help. It looks crisp & clear when I am editing my movie. It's a .png with a transparent bg.

Image Splitting After Export
Hi

I wanted to test my flash movie on a TV screen, so I exported the first scene as an .avi at 720x576 and made a VCD which I played through my DVD player.

The problem I'm having is that the image is splitting somehow, so that part of what is supposed to be on the right of screen is now on the left.

For example, in the following image you can see the uneven bars have been split

The same problem (image splitting) happens when I try to import the .avi to Ulead Video Studio (although this program is quite old and never worked very well on my computer anyway.)

Does anyone know what's causing this?

The wallpaper is 2 layers, the background, and my vector artwork. I want people to be able to select the colors they want, pick a resolution, and export it at their selected resolution to a file they can download.

Can anyone help me with this? I would gladly pay you for your time, or give you credit on the site or something.

Is it possible to export a dynamically generated movie using actionscript, to bmp, jpg, gif whatever at runtime.

I know you can publish to jpg but as the display is actionscripted i just get a blank image. And also the image is created by the user so it needs to be a 'snapshot' after the swf is running.

All right, so I got a PNG image and I created a motion tween with it. For a period of 50 frames, it decreases in size. Now, what I want to do is export this entire sequence as individual images, each image representing a frame in the tween process. I want all the backgrounds transparent, too.

Can this be done? I hope I made this relatively clear... x_X
