Flash :: Export Movie Problem

Export Flash Movie At 59.94 FPS - Movie Length Doubles
Has anyone experienced this issue? I have prepared a Flash animation to HDTV 720p specs at 59.94 FPS. Upon exporting to Quicktime, the resulting movie length is more or less double the flash animation length. When brought into AfterEffects, the movie is still twice the length. I'm hesitant to then do a time scale in AE - I'd rather the Flash export be exact.

Does anyone have experience with exporting Flash movies to QT at frame rates > 30fps? And have you experienced the same issues?

Can't Export To Movie / Test Movie Since Yesterday... Even Reinstalled
Hello,

I was working on a project for a few days... It all worked fine, I was able to export to flash movie, test the movie etc..

But since yesterday, I can't export to mive anymore... it asks me the file name and then the settings window appears, as usual. When I click OK, the progress bar appears and either it freezes, or I get a Windows error message pops up saying Adobe Flash stopped responding...

I even reinstalled Flash, didnt work.. I then deleted some layers , just to check if it would work, but now I got the message "flash is out of memory"... and it froze again... (i never got that memory message again)..

I'm using Flash CS3, Vista 64bit, 4GB Ram ...

Please Help

with drag and drop of symbols

i want the user to load the movie, drag some stuff around
and then to be able to show me what they have done ...

is it possible to export a jpg as what they se on theyr screen ? and then mailing it to me ? or saving it on the server ... or maybe theres a smarter way ?

Movie Export...
... Could anyone tell me if it's possible to export a movie in *.avi / etc. format, and still maintain the animation (loop) inside movieclips (in tweened symbol). I hope that someone undertood my problem.

Export Movie To AVI
I have downloaded some files from this site. Included is the .fla and .swf. When I view the .swf I see the action, when I open the .fla file in Flash MX 6.0, if I hit enter I don't see the action just the background. I go to export movie as an .avi, when I watch the .avi I only see the background and none of the action. If I export it as a .swf it makes a file exactly like the .swf that was included with actions working. How can I export the .fla as an .avi and see the actions?

im working with a movie with added flash drawing animations. when i export to movie, i find that the fps drops to like 12, but id like it to be around 30 fps. is there anyway to fix this besides lower the size? i am currently making the movie at 720 x 480 pixels. please help.

Hi all,

I've got a movie with one frame and a tween controlled by actionscript. Whenever I try to export the movie, it just exports the one frame. Is there any way to get it to export all of the frames of the tween, or is there any way to move the tween forward one frame at a time and take screenshots, etc?

I am trying to export a movie from Flash. The exported file only sees the top level timeline... it doesn't export any of the animation that is going on in the sub-timelines. It is essential that the sub-timelines export.

Is it possible? What do I need to do? I have tried exporting as jpg sequence, as flash movie, etc... nothing works.

When I export my flash movi as an avi file, It plays the movi but the movi clips in my flash dont play (they're stuck on the first frame of the movi clip).

Cannot Export Movie
I'm a complete newbie - i've created a simple banner animation that has some text transition in it (uses alpha opacity 100, then in 20 frames turns it down to 0 opacity using motion tween), this works fine when i press control > play, although when i export the movie or test the scene no text transition occurs & the font is not the same - can anyone advise where i'm going wrong?

Hi.. wonder if anyone can help me on this...

I created a movie size 300 x 200, and it involves a picture moving from one side to the other.

But i want it to be hidden when it is outside the movie size. I.e. not visible when the object is in the work area. its a scenery pic... so i want to achieve a panning effect without seeing the edge of the picture moving.

I gave some thought and i figure if i put a black layer with a 300x200 hole in middle at top most layer.. i can achieve that.

but i am sure Flash MX must be clever than this so must have some build-in function.

any help will be appreciated.

I have a flash movie that is in full resolution (1920x1080) and I would like to export it as .mov in a lower resolution but when I try to do it I can't, it says: "the installed version of Quick time has not have a handler for this type of Micromedia Flash player."

I already downloaded the new version of Quick Time and I have Flash MX.

Do you know what could be causing the problem?

Can't Export Movie
For some reason I dont know of, when I attemp to export my movie, the export progress bar goes very very quick, and Flash won't output my movie at all! And for some other reason I've been able to export my movie once (without modyfing anything!) and the movie was playing just fine

You know when you do that ctrl+enter thing, and then flash plays your movie automatically? Well in my case (obviously) flash doesn't do anything after I do ctrl+enter (except that the export progress bar goes very very quick)

What is wrong?

I created an animation with some video. The problem is, everytime I try to export that as whatever movie, Flash just stucks and collapses. I also tried to export to QuickTime, but it told me , that my QT has not got a handler for such movies although I had installed latest version of QT..It was told me, that the only way to reach dad, is to save as flash 5 and export to QT .. But how ? I had not found any command for that..using MX Pro 04 ...Does Flash 5 support embedded video ? Can anyone help me ?

I just made this "toy" and was wondering if the "corn" and anything that touches it could be exported as a .gif or any other image with a button or something. I would be willing to do anything simmilar if that won't work exactly as I have asked.

Bought it, have purchase number and registration number
Saw the updated version in downloads here. Downloads free to registered members.
The 3.41 version will not let me export my movie.
I tried updating my registration. Got another registration number. It still won't let me export! Do I have to purchase another one? That's what the pop-up keeps telling me. Why does it say the updates are free??? I thought by downloading the new version my movie would stop being linked to InsaneTools.
New Problems!! Can't use my 1.0 version. Can't reload old movie file into the NEW registered version and re-export it!
Plus, getting "caused invalid page fault in module 3DFlash Animator.exe 017f.00532lan

I have a fla file which contains actionscripts. If I export it as an avi file, will the avi file run exactly in the same manner as the swf file??

Export To Swf Is Changing My Movie
My phrase: "THE ROAD TO SUPERIOR SERVICE STARTS HERE"

I have each letter in its own layer and the spaces are underscore characters in hidden layers. I move the letters around in 1 to 20 frames, then I fade everything in 60 to 70 frames using alpha at zero percent. This looks perfectly when I play it in Flash MX. However, when I export it to SWF, the SWF file shows the hidden underscore layers and my alpha fade doesn't fade.
What did I miss in exporting setup?

I'd attach the fla file, but it's too big for this forum.

Hi everyone.

I would like to know how a flash movie can export frames to the hard disk.
It is way simpler with an example.
I made the file in attach (Logo.zip (sorry but the FLA was too big to fit)) and i would like to know, if i can add something so the user could choose its options (X and Y pos, Scale, fill) and then export the results to its computer.

Export Movie With Actionscript
Hello all,

I've put together a flash file which I want to now export to a movie file so I can add a few effects and general editing in After Effects.

However, I've used actionscript quite extensivly and when I export it to a movie it simply cuts out all the actionscript (it used it for tweening in some places - there is no interaction...).

Does anyone know how I can export it to a movie file so I can edit it?

Is there a way to export a .fla file into.mov/.avi or any video format as is? Because the export command from Flash exports the .fla in to movie format but then the movie clips are not playing/animating. Also the .mov export displays a message that my version of Quick Time does not support or somthing like that. But my QT is up 2 date. Please Help me. THanks.

I'm trying to make the sun in my scene have random "facial" expressions when I click the cloud, have the rain (and rain sounds) start only when I a mouseover on the cloud, and the cloud follow the motion guide when I click the sun. Is all this possible? I'm really confused.

Cannot Export Into A Quicktime Movie..I Use A PC...does Anyone Know Why?
Everyimte I try to export to a Quicktime movie it says "installed version of quicktime does not have a handler for this type of macromedia flash movie. please consult documentation for further information" (what documentation are they talking about? yeesh)

I thought maybe Quicktime not being PRO was a problems o I upgraded, still no luck.

I tried exporting as a AVI, but AVI's have a hell of a time exporting ALPHA CHANNELS. Its just crap! does anyone knwo what I can do or why Im having these problems? thankyou so much

I'm trying to export my flash movie. It's all on one timeline, no embedded movies (because they weren't showing up in the exported avi at first).

I have a song on the main timeline that plays fine in flash or a swf.

When I export to avi the sound file sounds horrible and skips. Any tips on how to get clear sound of it? Settings for exporting?

I'm using MX 2004.

I have been making a game and everything was going smooth until now. I just added a part to it and I cant test the movie. I cant even export it. Other movies export just fine, so I know its something I did. I also kinda know what it might be but not why. Export As Movie Problem
Hi all,

I am trying to compile a flash movie (swf) as version 6 (AS2) from within Flash 8. The file (fla) I am using has been saved as MX 2004. I can compile and run this perfectly as version 7 or 8 however my client only has version 6 and can't install a newer plugin.

The problem is that when it compiles it has shrunk the content to about 1/6th of the width of the original. It retains the correct height so the proportions are all wrong. The movie stage appears to be the correct width (600x500) however all of the content is now displayed in a narrow strip down the centre (roughly 100x500). Has anyone got any ideas or suggestions as to why this happens or how I can fix it?

Export Quicktime Movie
I'm not getting sound when i export a quicktime movie, yes I have enabled the sound in the dialog box. I do not have the original movie file for the fla, or is there a better way to get a flv? I was thinking of just exporting as a .mov and then converting that.

For example I have an application that has a movie clip of a christmas tree, the user drags various decorations on to the tree.

Export To Movie Stalling
I've been having a little trouble with 2004 since I upgraded.

Problems with simple sragging things on the stage (which later turns out to be a corrupt instance off a symbol)

Now exporting a movie is taking ...... well not quite forever but 15 mins. The outputted file is only around 2 mb. I've added nothing complicated since the last save.

I'm using a silverdoor dual 1 gig. 1.7gig ram. Flash is using a 100% processor in this situation and 300mb according to the activity monitor.

What wouldn't cause this unacceptable export time. Anyone any ideas??

Can Not Export As Swf, Can Not Test Movie
Everything was working fine, then one day, it just stopped exporting my document. If i try to "test movie", as it is "exporting movie" it just stops half way, same thing when i try to export it as a swf. If i try to do this 2 times in a row, the application just closes. i export swf with using the "right click on items in Library" and chose "Export Flash Movie..."
the swf export success.
after that i load the swf using "Loader" class as an external movie

the MovieClip show on the screen, and the animation play well.

but i cant control the MovieClip by MovieClip.gotoAndStop(frameNumber)

i have try to trace the totalFrames

mc.totalFrames

it always show me 1
even the animation have 20 frames(before export, in the library)

Export Movie Problem

Alright, here's the deal: I'm trying to export an old fla into an avi, the problem is after it's done exporting, none of of my actionscripting works ("setInterval" for example). Is there any way around this, or should I just bite the bullet and redo everything in a video editing program?
