Flash :: Export As AVI

Export Image: Export All Frames As Individual Swf
I'm creating several flash files with 20-40 frames each using MX 2004 Pro. I need to export each frame as an individual .swf file. I've found that this can be done through File->Export->Export Image. However, I have to export each one individually, and this becomes very time consuming. Does anyone know of a way to export all the frames as individual .swf files in one step? Am I missing something simple here?

im new at flash, i have created an animation before and was happy - worked great

now im trying for a new animation (just simple tweens with alpha etc.) it plays fine in the editor but not when i export it!

why not? whats happening?

Export Classes At Frame X, Export For At First Frame Preloading Problems.
I have all way been confused by the preloading of classes and object and how they get placed on the play head.

how are you able to make sure that the classes get placed before the object that rely on them and that what needs to load first loads first?

I also attached the FLA.

The problem I find is that if I export the classes for any other frame besides frame 1 in the document settings, then I have to export any objects in my library that have a linkage to export as Action script to export at the first frame.

This defeats the point of a preloader as the objects usually get placed before any code the executes and make the preloader wait till it loads first.

"Export For ActionScript" And "Export In First Frame"... Help?
Whew. I've been running into a lot of problems lately. Anyway... I have never been able to find a good explanation of "Export for ActionScript" or "Export in first frame". Can someone explain these to me in plain English, if possible? Thanks.

When i use more than one scene in flash and export a swf or exe.. i get rewind,forward,play options..on right click!!

How to deactivate these options?

i've imported .mov files into my .fla document - haven't converted them to symbols (they don't seem to play that way...) and when i go to file>export movie - the .swf file shows nothing - just the background color. any ideas?

I've got a client and he's asked me to create a presentation for a plasmascreen.

I was wondering, is there anybody out there who's got experience with making things for 16:9 format?

The main problem is that I don't know with what kind of computer they'll be showcasing the presentation, so I also don't know what to do if the computer can't be set in a 16:9 modus...

are there any ground-rules for that?

i'd like to export my flash mx movie to an avi-video. is there a way to keep the AS commands? or to make the mcs within the root timeline play on the avi? otherwise i would have to copy all mcs into the root-timeline which means lots of work- thanks! and sorry for all mistakes

I want to know if i can export from a movie(swf), a part of it( a movieclip) like a jpg, all this online of course.
I explain: I do a movie that is like a drawing tool. I want to Users export his drawing picture by mail or whaterver, like a jpg gif swf or whatever. Is this possible? And if it is, how can i do it?

*.avi is of very poor quality cant see the animation maybe im not exporting well

I'm working on a presentation to show to the UK lottery commission. It's for my local Cricket team. We are trying to raise some extra money so we can build our own pavilion with a bar and better all round facilities.

The first part of my presentation is to show a short animation. I've been warned already that the laptop that I will be using has no flash player, but I am able to show .avi files.

What I want to do is to run the animation (.avi) that will then jump to our web site when it ends. I really don't want to stop the film and then open explorer and find our web site. I want it to do it automatically.

I've had a quick play around, but I don't think that simply putting a "goto URL...." will work when exported as a .avi (or does it). Does anybody know how it can be done in avi format?

i have finished my slideshow which comprises of images pasted from photoshop into flash and a mp3 that runs the duration.

i want to save it so it will run in quicktime and i'm having some problems.

this is how im doing it:

*publish settings
*select quicktime
*alpha-auto
layer -auto
controller none
paused at start
file-flatten

*publish

*export file ^same settings

then when i click on the .mov file it has created it doesn't work and its not a quicktime icon. but the .swf does have the quicktime icon and plays but with no sound (is this the published one?)

Why Can't I Export This To FP7?

Anyone knows how to export or save a jpg file (or any other image file) from a flash movie?
For example, if you have a paintapplication made in flash and want the users to be able to save their work (that contains both vectorgraphic, text and maybe loaded jpgs), to a jpg file so thay can print it out.
I don't just want a screen capture, I want to get a highquality image (300dpi) so it can be printed in fine quality.

Any suggestions?

When i use the live preview feature my animation is just as i want it, but when I use the publish preview or html preview it comes out waaaay different, weird, objects jumping all over the place and whatnot. How can I export it so it will look and behave EXACTLY as I have itplaying in the live preview?

Hi all!

I have to make an application that first of all translates some simulation results into a couple of visual representation. I think I know how to do this, although some thoughts are very welcome.

I also have to export those images to a bitmap format for later use in Power Point. As this application is stand alone (projetor) I don't think I can use PHP (I don't know if PHP can be compiled for stand aloen use..).. Another problem is that it is quite important for it to be in print quality, so the screencapture function of Zinc (I'm using Zinc for some other stuff) is out of the question.

Any thought and/or solutions are received with gratefullness.

If no solution in AS, does any of you know about an app that can receive a stram of data and output a jpg?

i'm sure there is a way to script it but do you know if it's possible to have a button on your flash movie that will allow you to click it and export what is currently displayed on the flash movie screen as a jpg? i will be using this for a company that wants to drag and drop their components to a grid and be able to have the user save what is currently on the screen as a jpg so it can be emailed to them. thanks!

Let's say I'm making a drawing application for some random contest... The user could draw whatever he wants on the drawing board and then, when he's finished with his drawing, he could send it to us automatically in a vector based format (SWF or PDF). At worst, we could receive a JPEG image of the drawing.

I want to make a online tool for designing flash banners.
I think the best way to do this is by make a swf were someone can fill in text fields and upload images into a mc. And then when the banner mc is ready export this banner mc to a new banner swf that the user can download.

Is this possible in actionscript (generate a new swf from a swf)?

If the answer is no, does someone knows a onther way to make this kind of online tool?

this might sound as a stupid question to you all but I have a little animation I want to export as an animated gif so I can mail it in a newsletter. The problem is that when I go to export it in flash as an animated gif it will only export the first frame. I have checked all the settings are right such as animated and so on. What am I doing wrong or is it just flash? I am using flash mx 2004 by the way. Also while I am here, is there another way I could just add the swf to the newsletter? I have manged to add the html page the the e-mail body and my swf is located on my web server but it wont download in outlook when i test it. It says my active x control wont allow it. Is there another way I could bypass this? Plus on a mac it will not show at all. PLEASE HELP!

Sorry in advance, this is not a real video, its more of a export question.

I am creating a slide show for a buddy of mine. So I do what I always did, write the code using xml to store a list of jpegs. Loading in the xml to fetch my image list and im bascially done.

However, a curve ball was thrown at me from my buddy. He wants it so the slide show is in a video format. It is for his wedding and he wants to keep it in a dvd.

I never done this so I gave it a shot, I try to export into an avi first. Guess what! The exported avi gives me a blank screen! Duh, it wont know to include the jpegs and make them into an self contained video file format.

I would really hate to create 180 movie clips for all the images and apply motion tween on each and everyone of them at various different frames. So I do not have to worry about what if my buddy wants the slides to be up for 5 seconds instead of 3.

Any suggestions? Is there a 3rd party swf to avi program that will do the trick? Is this when I need to use Director? What would be another program that will allow me to do this with code and not just all manual labor?

Cannot Export From QT To FLV
I am on a Mac running OS X 10.4.8, Flash MX 2004 Professional and QuickTime Player 7.1.3 Professional.

I want to take a .mov file that I've gotten from a client, and export it as a .flv file. However, in QT, when I select "Export...", there are no selections on the pull-down menu of versions that let me save as an FLV file.

The FLV.component file is in the correct folder, and I downloaded and installed what I think is the latest version of Flash Video Exporter from this link: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flash/articles/flv_exporter.html .

I've also thrown away the preference files for QuickTime and Flash, and restarted both programs, but still no dice.

Any thoughts on what I can do? This is the only client I've got right now who needs this service, so I would REALLY PREFER not to buy yet another piece of software to solve this; it seems like all indications are that since I already own QT Pro and Flash MX 2004 Pro I should have all the right stuff in my hands as it is.
