is there such a thing as VIDEO TUTORIALS that can be viewed on a pc or tv? If so, where can I obtain them? Such tutorials that shows how to make movie clips or anything relating to FLASH and its ACTIONSCRIPT

ActionScript 3 Video Tutorials
I have added a new tutorial to the ActionScript 3 fundamental series. This tutorial is centered around the Switch statement, a conditional statement in AS3 that allows for many paths based on your defined conditions.
So far that gives us 16 parts to the AS3 tutorials. Over 9 hours of video tutorials on ActionScript 3 fundamentals.
I hope you are enjoying them.

I have added a new group of tutorials to the ActionScript 3 fundamental series. These tutorials include Loop statements and the first two parts, of a four part series on Arrays in AS3.
There are now 20 tutorials posted on ActionScript 3 fundamentals, over 12 hours of video tutorials.

ActionScript 3 Video Tutorials
I have had many people ask over the last ten months what happened to the FocusOnFlash website. Well we are back with a completely updated site and brand new group of tutorials. Over the last ten months I was finishing a graduate degree in education and found myself swamped with work and school assignments. Sorry for the delay but it couldn’t be helped.
I have added the first 10 tutorials on ActionScript 3 to the website. These video tutorials cover an Introduction to ActionScript 3, Properties of MovieClips, Using variables in ActionScript 3, Functions in ActionScript 3, and MouseEvents in ActionScript 3. There is a brand new format to the tutorials that I would really appreciate feedback on.
So far I have uploaded approximately 5 hours of video that cover these topics. The next groups of tutorials are on Timer Events and the EnterFrame events in ActionScript 3. These are already written they just need to be recorded, produced and uploaded.
I look forward to seeing you all in the forums.

Flash Video Tutorials
I am relatively new to Flash video. I have been able to create the .flv files and collected the .flv, skin and .swf files that play fine locally. I am curious if there are any tutorials on how to publich the video files and skins to the web so that they will play correctly. Do they all need to be in the same subfolder on the server? I am certain that this topic comes up regularly and I have searched previous posts, but I would like to learn the best way to do this as well as design the best looking player. Thanks in advance. Using Dreamweaver.

Ive been checking the new video tutorials on the site but everytime i click one of this new tutorials (the one with video icons) i get a pop up page and a restriction error. (you are not authorize to view this page)
Im wondering if it is just my pc that is getting the error or is it something you hav to pay to get the tutorials? I dont know it doesnt say anything and it makes me angry!
Is there anyone who can explain this?

Flash Video Tutorials?
I know video tutorials are all the rage these days... and I love 'em too. But it seems they all try to teach the same things... i.e. preloaders, css, master libraries, etc.
What about a good video tutorial on the entire process of creating flash effects? I bet a company like 2Advanced, AgencyNet, FI, etc could make a killing if they created some video tutorials that answer all the "how'd they do that?" questions and sold them online.
Now that I've said that... perhaps some do exist and I just don't know about 'em. Anyone know of any?

I finaly finished making some video tutorials on doing some basic tasks in flash mx2004...Now they may be a little unprofessional seeing as how im not a young nimble nymph with a sexy voice hehe but an old geeky geekster..But they are free..and hosted on my webserver ..hope my bandwidth holds out ...
anyway I created 3 tutorials
1.Loading dynamic text from an external text file
2.Adding a scrollbar to said dynamic textbox
3.Creating a preloader for a movie clip..
Now these are not training videos for the advanced flash master so be nice..I made them for intermediate
users with basic skills in tweening and such ...
They are around 3 to 4 mbs hopefuly you have a highbandwidth connection 56kers will have to wait a few minuites...
I appreciate any constructive critiques ...

[MX04] Actionscript Tutorials For Flash MX 2004?
Hi:
Can anyone direct me to a good series of tutorials for actionscript for Flash MX 2004?
I did find www.learningflashmx.com that one of the moderators has posted, and it's great for a beginner like me. I'm trying to find more tutorials that follow this format and build on lessons.
I'd like to learn how to make animated buttons, animated buttons with submenus, how to use buttons to control movies and movie clips, using actionscipt to create effects, etc.
I see a lot of tutorials on here, but they seem to be only for one effect or technique and I don't learn as well this way.
Anyone know of any?

New To Flash (Flash8), Looking For Good Actionscript Tutorials
Well, I just got Flash 8, and I'm really interested in learning how to use ActionScript to make some cool things.
I'm comfortable with using the drawing tools, as i've used PhotoShop and Illustrator before. Also, I've done plenty of programming in Java, so I'm familiar with writing code. The only thing is, I don't know commands for AS, so I can't do much.
Does anybody have a link to a good site with a library of commands, or something similar? It would be greatly appreciated.

New AS3 Video Tutorials
Two New Tutorials on Conditional Statements AS3.
Two new video tutorials have been added to the FocusOnFlash web site covering the IF statement in AS3. I discuss many of the comparison and logical operators associated with conditional statements and in Part 2 we build a user Log In form and use the IF statement to compare data and determine a valid log in.
So far that gives us 15 parts to the AS3 tutorials. Over 8 hours of video tutorials on ActionScript 3 fundamentals.

About The Video Tutorials...
I did EVERYTHING as it is supposed to be done...
Although, i cant play ANY video, not even the video used on the example
("http://leebrimelow.com/flv/videoBasicsThree.flv") on my video player.
The only moment when video plays, is when the address points to my C: drive and not to the web.
Why is this happening?
What can I do to fix this problem?
