Sound Loops On Flashkit
Hi,

Most of the sound loops on flash kit are .swf files.
How do I have these played the moment I log onto my site ??

I can import .mp3 files on the web but .swf files I cant.

Sound Loops From Flashkit Don't Loop
Am I doing something wrong here? Almost every loop I download from Flashkit doesn't loop. There's usually some hiccup at the end that is very noticeable, and I end up taking the sound into Acid or something to fix it.

Is there some place else that I can go to get freeware loops that really loop? It's frustrating to spend so much time looking through the loops only to download something that doesn't loop correctly.

How Is It Possible To Make A LED Thingie Like In The Flashkit Sound Loops?
I'm seeking how it could be possible to make a LED/EQ thing like on the flashkit
sound loops page. Not fake it, I mean actually getting the real infos from the song's
EQ and visually show them with the bars.

Do you have to combine, say Flash with C++ to do something like this?

Hello All,

Quick question about the SoundFX section of this website.

If I go to SoundFX and then click on the Interface button(http://www.flashkit.com/soundfx/Interfaces/) I see that the "switches" section for example has over 3700 sound effects.
However, when I go to listen to them I only seem to have access to about 12-20 of them.
Where's the rest?

looking at the sound section of this (flashkit) site, I see that you can sinc the audio led graphic with the sound. Where can I get the code for this as it would be very handy for a site I am designing http://www.carter-design.com/new

How can I make the FlashKit sound FX preview console effect? I look through the movies here but the one's I found were movies ment to look like that. While the preview console seems to be live.

Want To Make A Eq Visualizer JUST LIKE Flashkit's Sound Preview Consoles

I want to make an EQ analyzer... very similar to the preview console that Flashkit uses in their sound fx section.

I havent the foggiest on how to get the bars to react to sound information from the song... as in each bar represents the level of a certain frequency range.

Subsequent Sound Loops Sound Quieter
Anyone else noticed this in Flash MX?

I have a sound loop which is fine when initially played, but then its subsequent loops play at a quieter volume.

Extra info:

I have a movieclip which has the sound placed in its first frame.

The sound is set to "start" as opposed to "event" or "stream"

The sound in the library has a linkage that only exports for Actionscript.

The wav sound has an export setting (via the library) for Mp3, and is not overridden by the publish settings.

Anyone know the reason for the reduction in volume for subsequent loops?

I recently got my entire hard drive flushed.. and i lost everything, so i'm having to start from the ground up.. im over it.. well i finally set it back up and have everything up and running. I never really liked the loops I had saved, so i was wondering if any of you know of any good places to download some good quality loops, or for those of you who make your own music, can you recommend any good programs? I tried to use Acid Pro 3.0 but i could never make seamless loops, so any advice about how to do it with Acidpro.. other programs, or good sites would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi, I would like to start creating my own sound loops. Just wondering what steps are best to take... Is there a particular program or something that is used to record? I have a multitrack recorder but it seems that the file sizes would be much too big. I'm new to flash and not familiar with it's compression capabilities. I have an .mp3 that I would like to loop.

My problem is, I always seem to get a half second of dead air before the loop starts over again. Is there an easy way to get rid of that half second that FLASH seems to put in as it's looping back around?

Does anybody know a way to loop a sound throughout a whole site without it starting over everytime the user loads another page. Also i want to be able to control the sound (on/off) with a button in flash but i dont know how to do this considering the whole site isnt created in flash. There are just a few flash movies to the site. one in which holds a sound loop. I just dont want it to start over everytime the user switches pages.

I am using Flash MX 2004 and cannot get my sound loop to play. I dragged my sound file into the frame and the sound appears and plays when I drag the play head along the timeline but does not play when I play the movie. I have no stop action on the frame and do not have the sound on an event. Is there something I am missing?

I have recently been testing out using sound loops in my swfs to add some spice.. that works fine...except, when it loops i notice a small gap. the loops themselves are seemless. i've tried event, start and stream (stop doesnt work) -- no luck. Any ideas..

sorry!! i had a thread about this but i can`t find it no longer.
i use few seconds sound loops with attachSound and loadMovie. it works ok in what concerns AC but but the loops are interrupted and are not playing fluently even though i edited them very carefull.

how can i make loops that play fluently??????

i have inserted a sound loop into my flash movie. Is there a way to get rid of that minor delay when the loop repeats itself? You can hear when the loop repeats and I am looking for a smooth transition.

Hey, I'm new to this forum and I have 2 questions

Here's the scenario: I want a song to play on my website, but the thing is that it takes up to much space, so what I decided to do was to cut it in 2, so I have an intro to the song, and then a continous loop that follows.

What must I do so that the intro plays, and then right after its finished the loop comes in?

Is this possible?

Is there actionscript code that will display how many seconds ellapsed in a sound file, for example in my music player on the site

hope this is the right forum for this one.
im about to embark on a small flash presentation for our company. im looking for some funk/jazzy background music. becuase its not destined for the web, i dont want to limit myself to a 10 second sound loop, but i cant find anything longer (ive been on flash kit, and although the samples were great, theyre just not long enough). can anyone help me out. i dont want to just rip off one of my cds for copyright reasons.

I was wondering how the eqalizers in the Sound Loop section of Flash Kit keep up with the beat of the music? How is this done?
