Frameskip?
This is kind of hard to explain, but I'll do my best... Is there a way to have Flash skip frames to make it keep up with the rate the movie is supposed to go at? People with slower computers watch a lot of my animations in slow motion because it tries to show all the frames. When I have a streaming sound it does what I want, because the movie tries to keep in pace with the streaming sound that's playing. I would like it to do this throughout the entire movie. Is there a setting for this somewhere or something? I would really appreciate any help. Thanks!

Streaming Sound, Frameskip

when i load a movie (with streaming sound in it) into a main movie, it speed up the main movie like its on crack. I know why this happens, but is there a way to prevent it? Any ideas?
Flash, Frameskip, And Streaming Audio
I'm making a pretty vector-intense game. In order to speed things up I started running a looping movieclip with streamed audio in the background. Instead of slowing down, the game skips frames, which works out very well.
My problem is this, every time the movieclip ends, the game pauses briefly as the the sound buffers. Like I said, it's a pretty intense game, and it's noticible.
Does anybody know how can I get around that pause?
