Hi folks, I found this site and im quite curious as to how it is made. Is there any of you actionscript buffs have any idea?

Im gussing theres alot of external backend stuff going on here other than actioncript? I would like to maybe make something similar although not to the scale of this

hey guys, i have a quick question about something on the bmw australia site,

then click on "enter" then from the menu choose "The Mini" and click on virtual tour. I wanted to know how they did the car thing, in particulat moving objects with the keyboard or mouse. Any help would be much appreciated as i need something like this to put on a site while its loading. Thanks in advance

Notice how as you click the buttons the picture that loads on the left some times fades in and some times fades out, depending on the level that's currently loaded. If "services" is loaded and you click "company" the "services" picture fades out, giving it the effect that it alwasy loads on top. But if "services" is loaded and you click "clients" the clients fades in. Has anyone done something like this before? How would you achieve something like that?

I want to replicate the nice menu bars that scroll on and off.

The problem is that i'm not coding it, when you roll-over a bar it moves the bar over and visa versa. If you move the mouse onto another bar before the original bar has finshed animating, they clog up. I need to find a way to reverse the animation while i can select other bars like in the original site.

can anyone help ?

I realize I probably have to have 2 sites one straignt html and the other flash but the sites contain components and I have no idea how to do that sort of thing in html. I also realize I may have to integrate CSS in terms of getting the non flash site to look as similar to the flash site. Help me?

Hey guys, Just to let ya'll know i've just started out with flash. Ohhh about 2 months ago are so, meaning actually getting very serious about it. I've just started my first flash site and it's comeing a long.
I've also learned a LOT of stuff from you guys. The turtorials are soooo much better then flashkit.com. I've actually learned a little bit more on action scripting and such.

Made Flash Site, Works Great In Program, But Screws Up In SWF
ok i use 3d flash animator. i created a sample flash site as a test, and it works perfectly in the program, but when i export it to SWF it gets all flashy and twitchy. all my "slides" flash in a row as opposed to waiting till i click a menu. is there a way to fix this? thank you so much

Dear all,

I am curious about how a lot of designers now are building flash sites with resized movie clips loaded into there main movie when a user clicks on any of the navigations buttons. Here is an example of what I am talking about:

youll notice that if you click on any of the main buttons in the sites navigation ("our work", "how we can help" etc..), you will load that respective area of the site. As you do this it appears as an onClick event occurs and sizes (animates) that clip prior to loading its content.

I am looking for some insight on how to achieve this. Does anyone know of any tutorials out there or samples i could look at to see how this is done?

Button Rollout, Hows It Done?
Hey,

I have a button, with a fade box that plays when ya roll over, I want it to play another animation that fades he box when rolled off the button... how ever there isn't a "area" for roll out on the buttons pane tool.

I've done this before, But it wasn't over a button... it was a picture that faded in and out when ya rolled over the button.

Is there a way to do this inside the button pane, or do I gotta throw the MC overtop of the button in the main scene, and do it that way.... cause thats a lot of work if it has to be done this way for lots of buttons...

I am hoping for some help in constructing a scrollbox for text in Flash 4 only. Is this possible in Flash 4 ? and if so, I wish to make the text draggable (very smooth) ie. Not scrolling one character intervals (very jerky). Is this possible too ?
