Help Me In This Problem

hello all masters out there of Flash...
i have developed a thing .. what i want to do is that i have 4 buttons and i want to display that button which was being clicked on the previous scene... i knw i can do it on different scenes.. but what i wanna do is .. want to remain in the same scene.. but wants tht the button which was cliced on the previous scene must be displayed here(in the next scene)...
