Ie 5.5?

I have a couple of pop-ups on my site that use the following javascript command directly from flash.


on (release) {
getURL ("javascript:n_name=window.open('PAGE.html','new_n ame1','width=40,height=30');void(0);");
}


This seemed to work fine until I tested it on IE on PC. I thought the user might have disabled javascript, but then found the problem is 5.5, it's fine on 5.0. On 5.5 it says that the page can not be found even though I have changed the url to direct rather then a relative path.


Does anyone know how to tweak the code to make it work on 5.5??


Any help will be greatly appreciated.
