The aim is to make branded games for our clients.

Game submitters should be willing to make game adaptions for $$$ and must be
prepared to grant the rights to redistribute the games (not the source code).

I AM NOT REAL FAMILLAR WITH THIS FLASH KIT AND WHAT YALL USE IT FOR I WAS USEING THE FLASH TOOL SET AND FLASHER SHOP TO CHEAT ON GAMES THAT RUN ON MACROMEDIA FLASH PLAYER. I STARTED USEING FLASH TOOL SET AND IT WORKED GREAT.
BUT A NEWER VERSION OF THE GAME WAS A EXE. FILE AND I COULDNT OPEN IT WITH FLASH TOOL SET.
I FOUND FLASHER SHOP AND IT WOULD LET ME CONVERT AN EXE. FILE INTO A SWF. FILE AND THEN I COULD USE THE FLASH TOOL SET OR THE FLASHER SHOP PROGRAM.
NOW THE PROBLEM I HAVE IS THE (ANOTHER) NEWEST VERSION OF THE GAME , WHEN I GO TO THE GAME I WANT TO DO THE FLASH ON... IT DONT SHOW UP WHEN FLASHER SHOP OR FLASH TOOL SET IS ON.
I KNOW WHERE THE GAME IS IN MY COMPUTER BUT IT DOESNT SHOW UP WITH THE FLASHER SHOP IS ON .
CAN ANYONE HELP AND MAYBE TELL ME WHAT I COULD DO TO OPEN THE GAME I WANT . THEY SOMEHOW FIXED THE GAME WHERE IT DOESNT SHOW UP WHEN FLASHERSHOP IS OPEN.

I am working on a pop-up type shooter game.

Little targets pop up and when you click on them, you get points.

Now the problem is that I can't figured out how to add points to the score dynamic text box when you click on the target (which is a button).

Any help would be much appriciated...

Hi. I am working on a beat em up in college. 2 things r annoying me.

1-Jumping. How can i get the user controled character to jump up then come back down?? Also whilst in the air be able to kick, and be able to do a flip if u jump and move right or left?

2-Walking. How do i get a smooth walking animation. I have i so when u press right it iwll move right in a smoth animation, but when u hold it in to move a distance the guy just glides. How do i rectify this??

i made a game just like the wheel of forture, when press it will go round then stop radomly on a prize but i have no ideal how to display the name of the prize on to the main interface where there is a input text for the prize name. i know i need to loadvaribles but how?

I have altered 2 games taken fromFlash 5 ActionScript for Fun & Games.

Both games playback fine down my end but I have emailed them to my Brother who cannot play any of them back ?

I was hoping to send the 2 swf files by email to anybody that can help to see what I have done wrong.

I made a pong game with Flash 5 using actionscript, and each time the ball is hit, or bounces off a wall, I want a sound to play. Let's say I wanted to name the sound "bounce". What code do I have to type in to make the sound play, and do I need any separate movie clips or anything? Thanks

I'm developing some games and some times i don't know what is the best way to make the code.

Flash is a bit weak if you put lot's of things moving on the screen.
And if you have code to move all this objects, detect colisions, controling an object with keys or mouse, etc...

What i really wanna know is how do you make your code.

functions on timeline and call them from onclipevents?

all the code in onclipevents, including declaring functions.

Key Problem For Games

is it possible to detect if a special key is "NOT" pressed?
I know about "if(Key.isDown("keycode") {" , but there is no kind of "if(Key.isUp...." .

As far as I know there is that toggle function, but I dont toggle the key, just want to have any function if a special key isn«t pressed anymore.

U know?

For example: The is a character that walks from left to right and reverse, if I use the cursor-keys (left/right).
if I don«t press any cursor key the character stops, cause the movement is driven by Key.isDown(...).
but I want to let the character use another pose when he doesn«t walk and so I need any kind of query, if the cursor keys aren«t pressed anymore.

Any suggestions how to solve this ****ty problem?

I was looking in actionscript and flashkit web sites and i wasn't able to get anything with a good quality.

Could someone indicated me where to get these games? It can be for flash MX.

i was wondering if there was a way to make a fighting game (eg tekken) on flash
obviously it doesnt have to be complex just with a few moves (eg kick, punch, etc ) i know itll probably be quite complex but any help that i can understand would b appreciated
