I'm in need of a good site that has a plethora of free sound effects.
The few I found posted in the forum are no longer there & the sounds forum does not seem to like people asking this question!
Can anyone set me in the right direction?

I am a sound designer looking to build a demo reel. If you are a flash artist and have any flash that you would like sound to flow with contact me. I will do it for free as long as I can put it on my reel. You can give me ideas and I will make them work and create custom sounds for your flash. I know your tired of using cheesy sound effects. How about something designed specifically for your piece of art.
If you are not sure exactly what I mean by sound design.........think about production logos like Pixar, etc. that you see in the movie theatre. Logos like these always have sound to go along with the visuals. This is what I do.

Another Problem In Flash Sound: Free Trial Mp3 Converter

I got another problem.
I download a free trial mp3 converter to convert my music to fit into Flash rate(11.025kHz). But I just found out that the company added something into my music since it is a free trial version. I only need to convert music rate to fit flash requirement. Does anyone know a free trial converter can do it without adding company ad into the music?

Moving Text On A Free-from Area ? (free Curve Scrolling)
Hi there
I am trying to get some text to move inside a specific area.
I have attached a gif showing the wanted rute - inside the legs of the non-conform X-letter.
Is there a way to do this - i dont have any math on the movement of the X-legs.
1) I am kind of newbie, so where do i start out - please help.
2) If i can get the rute specified for my text to move - can i then save the path for later use with other text.
i will use it on my homepage as some kind of intro-news-text-scroller.

How To Free The RAM
Hi there
I'm new here. Long time listener, first time caller.
Well, on to my problem:
I'm building a large animation, that consists of 1000 jpgs. I load these in 20 external swfs with 50 frames in each. I have a timeline where the user can scrub back and forth through the animation. I preload the clips first, and I have all the actionscript for the navigation down. So far so good...
BUT - it seems that the flash player uses up a little bit of RAM for every frame it displays, and I can't get it to "release" the RAM again. I've tried unloadMovie (doesn't work - it unloads the movie, but doesn't free up the RAM). I've tried using removeMovieClip, and that works. The RAM is freed, but then I have to load the clips all over again (taking loadtime again, if even just a bit), if the user scrubs back to a clip that's been removed.
Any advice?

RemoveMovieClip How To Free Up?
I have been getten into writting actionscript to move things!. It's facinating but it's time consuming , anyway.
How do you removeMovieClip to free up CPU or flash from making continuous calculations? Also my question is if I use an, 'if' and set it to _visible=false; is this freeing up the computer??
In this simple example down below! If you put this on a mc you will see it moves to 400 amount and you will see it on the screen dissappear. So I know it dissappears now so if I put 800 i def know it's going off the screen and that it will dissappear.

My Web page 'index.html' has 2 frames: 'frameA.html' (wich comes with the Free Web Server) and 'frameB.html'. The script only works when 'frameB.html' is opened directly. outside of 'index.html'. Is there a solution to correct that problem?

Sure this is a very simple and probably stupid problem...
On a PC... when you right click and 'Free Transform' an MC to do whatever, then click off it, when you click back on it is still in Free Transform mode. How do you cancel it so that it is just simply selected?
