Importing Outlined Text From Illustrator
Hi there...
Wondering if someone can help me out.
I'm getting a designer to do some work for me in Adobe Illustrator. Since he's on a Mac, and I'm on a PC, I get him to turn all the type into outlines (I don't have the fonts), and to save the .ai file as Version 8. When I import the file into Flash, the outlined text does appear to be vector shapes but the text is no longer intact and has some areas missing. I can open the file in my Adobe Illustrator and there seems to be no problem but even if I try to cut and paste the outlined text into Flash it comes in broken.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Making Dynamic Text Outlined

The text must be outlined.Also users can set the font

The only solution I got is have texts in external swf s .I must make fonts and the outline and replace each letter wich its font
its really long story .Maybe there is other solution That I cant find

Outlined Text From Illustrator 10 Looks Jagged
Please help! I have a logo I wanted to animate in Flash, so I copied and pasted the outlined text from Illustrator 10. I created my flash file and the text looks jagged for some reason. Please look at the attached swf file and help me figure out how to smooth out the fonts!

Creating Dynamic Outlined Type
anyone know how to do this.
It would seem that there should be a stroke capability on dynamic text but there isn't. Thickness will not work as its very limited in values you can enter.

Also using a bold set behind will not work with this type either.

I had this issue on another project and ended up using images as I didn't have time to fool around and find a solution. Anyway the issue is back again and I have some time to fool about with it. So I was wondering if anyone has tried to tackle this issue before and had some pointers or pitfalls when dealing with it.

Picture Numbers Outlined In Image Gallery
Hi,

I have an image gallery.
The sequence of the pictures is being changed by ARRAY.

The user might give the order "proceed" or click on a picture number on the list of pictures.

01 02 03 04 05 and so on.

Then the image would appear together with some individual comments.

I planned to have an swf.file for each pictures which would be loaded when needed.

Now I want the numbers to stay marked (in red) when they are clicked on and to remain marked until another number-button is being pressed.

Since I am just starting with action script I don't know how to do it.

Problem With Outlined Word Animating Smoothly
I have a word i am trying to animate. It is white with a 1pt red outline on it, sitting on a black background. Within flash i've broken apart
the text & made it a symbol. My problem is that it doesn't play smoothly. The red seems to hesitate at some points. I've attached a sample using the font i'm using. Has anyone seen this before and know a solution?

[MX] Can Flash Export VECTOR Or Outlined Text As PDF,Ai Or EPS?
We have a web based flash interface that allows customer to design a custom product online. The problem is that the flash then creates a PDF and that PDF never ACCURATELY matches what the customer designed in the flash application. The line and letter spacing is always off. I think the problem would be fixed IF we could create or export a PDF or a Ai file or a EPS file from FLASH that did NOT have the editable text. At the moment of EXPORT it needs to convert all text to vector or outlined text. That would alleviate the FONT problems. Does anyone know of a plug-in or some method for doing this?

Import Illustrator Files- Outlined Type Problems
I am trying to import an illustrator 8 .eps file into flash. when I import the file, some of the type does not come in correctly. I created outlines of all the fonts. It gets broken and in some cases only displays a small portion of the character. Has anyone had this problem? and if so can you please help me get around it.

Bitmap Image With An "outlined Path"?
I am making some minor changes to a website created by another designer. It is very basic flash, with one thing confuses me.

the prior images appear to have a "Photoshop path". I know about breaking apart bitmaps, but this looks as though they told flash to remove the black background so the stars show thru...any idea on what was done?

I'm adding a new item to the page and have a photoshop layered image, with the item on a flat black background. I checked the other images in the flash file to look for clues but dont see anything.
