PowerPoint White Ending
I'm getting some white frames at the end of my movie when brought into PPT - I've heard something about it filling in for some reason but I don't understand. Any insight would be much appreciated!

First, you must be sure that your PC has Microsoft PowerPoint installed. Launch the PowerPoint software. Setup it as follows:

3) Add Effect -> exit -> Spiral out.
4. Insert a text box and input the sentence ““Let's publicize world cup's energy together!” in it. Add effects to the text box (three animations: entrance | emphasis | exit):
1) Right click the football -> Custom Animation -> Add Effect -> Entrance -> select one you want
2) Add Effect -> emphasis -> select one you want
3) Add Effect -> exit -> select one you want
5. Insert the photos and add effects to photos (three animations: entrance | emphasis | exit)

Open Powerpoint File From A Flash Movie Embedded In A Powerpoint File
hello everybody,
I need to open powerpoint files from a flash movie that will run within a powerpoint presentation.
So far I have understood the concept of fscommand and have been able to open powerpoint files from a flash projector. I have not been able to import the flash projector within powerpoint (I do not think it is possible anyway).
Note: I use flash mx 2004
Any help very much appreciated.

Ending It All
Hello,
I created a Koolmoves movie and have it set to play only once. When the movie ends it it "resets" back to the first frame leaving the screen blank. Is it possible for the movie to end on the last frame? If so, How?
I have other info included in the movie and would like it to remain for a time period of my choosing before opening the home page of the site.

Why Is This Loop Not Ending? Help
I want to make a button that tells the _root timeline to advance forward in increments of 4 frames at a time until the variable "moving" equals 0.
For some reason, the playhead doesn't advance, and so "moving" never changes to 0 and I get stuck in an infinite loop. Why isn't the playhead advancing?
This is the code I'm using:

Hello...
Another road blocker for me... I published my movie and depending on the resolution of the monitor my fonts and various images move around or get all funky and difficult to read.
Could someone please point me to some sort of book or something that helps me optimize and make my site usable from any and all browsers.. or at least most of them?
But in the meantime, do you know how to correct this problem?

Ending A Movie
Hi all...
I have developed an e-card using Flash. It is set to autorun and open the Flash application and run the movie when loaded into the CD tray.
One of the four options is an "Exit" button to end the presentation and close the application. The movie name is "trgecard". What would be the action scripting to make the presentaion stop and the application window shut down by itself?

First of all I'm having some problems with the site so I could not use the search button. So I'm sorry if this was posted before.
I have a main swf file where I load other swf files in.(_root.home)
so I have navigation and this works all fine. but I need something for the transition between the movies.
when I press a button I first want that the loaded movie in _root.home plays his ending and after that he can load the other movie according to the button that is pressed.

Ending A Function
Let's say i have a button and a ball movieclip. Upon clicking the button, i want the ball to begin moving in 5 pixel increments toward a set distance... let's say 100 pixels down from where it now lies.
Now, i was thinking of writing a function which checks every frame to see if the ball has made it there yet. I have no problem stopping the ball, but how do i stop the function from checking to see where the ball is once it's there? (without totally killing the function because i will need it again)

if you have a movieclip with two states, one over and one out, and in frame 1 you put a script like,

Hi. I've just created my first flash animation. It's about 10 seconds. The only problem is that it loops continuously.
In the "using Flash for the first time" lesson by Jen deHaan (great lesson1), she mentions that you can drop this code in "stop();" and she also recommends to add all such code to a single frame to make it easy to find. However, she does not mention how to add code to a frame. Help!
Likewise, the Help file only discusses stopping the loop for specific "graphics instances," not for an entire scene or movie. I'm sure it's simple. I just can't find it.

let me explain u the problem ;
let's say that i have opened the 4.th slidermenu item by clickin on its button and when it slides up it shows me content4 that i have attached..
....
now i wanna see the mc s inside it and trigger them by clicking on the buttons inside content4..
each of the buttons in content4 attach the mc s called yazilim etc.. into instances window4_1..etc..
then i wanna take a look at another menu item so i close down (or up) content 4 and slide the other one i wanna check for..
and the mc s attached are removed..
....
but when i do this with a slidermenu item that is below the one i have just used (4th one ) and slide back the 4th one again;the problem starts..
it acts like there r no codes about alphas or depths of the mc s attached in instances window4_1 etc..
and worst of all it creates two copies of these mc s and doesn't remove them later..
because they become undefined stuff this time..
but it works correctly when i remove them from a slidermenu item above it..
if there's anyone here who can solve this problem i am gonna start adoring him/her..it'd better be a he

On a hit test we want to remove all the duplicated movieclips. I acomplished this using a new scene with a frame action contianing another For Loop and a remove movie clip action. Hit test true move to new scene play frame action.

AS 2 / Quick ? About Ending A Particular MC
my simple ? is, i want to learn how to end a section of a site smoothly and with a certain animation as oppose to the section just abrubtly ending. for exxample, if i have an item on screen and want to switch to another section, i want it so that when a link is clicked, that that 1st item, plays an animation fade out or whatever, and then the new section appears.
id search for it to read/learn but dont know the term/name for it.

Hi Guys,
I've created this function to jump to the next frame ever 5 seconds, but it continues to jump every 5 seconds even if I add a stop in.
I assume I need to close the function off somehow. So what would I use to stop the function.
Here is what I have so far.

Never Ending Menu
I am trying to make a menu that scrolls left when the mouse is to the left of center, and right when it is right of center. The menu is a movie clip that is 1000 px wied by 90px high. I duplicated the movie and placed the second one at the end of the first, then made it one larger movie. here is the script im using:

Ending A Function
I thought this was simple enough but it is not working. I've got a script running that brings my menu to the left side of the screen--and then assigns a global variable to tell which part of the menu you are located on. However, when I call the new function with my if statement checking what the global variable is...the old function affects it I think. I want the function to clear. I'll write some script of what i'm doing for example...

[CS3] White Backgrounds Instead Of White, Why?
This is just about the only question that I have right now, until I actually get into doing some work with flash. Anyway:
My problem deals with viewing some flash animations online. Before I updated my Flash Player to version 9, I have been able to view some of the animations on, say, Newgrounds, without a problem. However, after the update, what used to be black backgrounds are now white. A good example of this could be seen on VGCats.com.

On the loading screen and the replay screen, as well as throughout the lyrics, the background is white where it should be black.

Here, I know for a fact that, behind the green star, the background used to be black. But now it's white for some reason.
I've tested this on a couple computers, just in case. All the ones that updated to Flash Player 9 have white backgrounds. The other computers that have not, however, stayed black as it should be. So, I'm only guessing it has something to do with the update, but I do not know what.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling both CS3 and Flash Player, and I did the usual things like clearing caches and cookies, but nothing I've done so far has seemed to solve my problem.
More or less, I'd like to know who else has had this problem at some point? Hopefully someone else has, I don't like being the only person in this situation. Makes me feel like an idiot trying to ask.
But I would like to know how to solve this, so I can get on my way with enjoying the animations as they should be.

Ending The A Dragable Button
here it is...
i have a MC with a button embeded in it so that the two together act as a draggble button.
//the problem is...
the dragable button activates a drop target once its placed into a specific area. i have several of these buttons (they are draggable menu items). i want them to disappear or go back to their original position once they've activated the droptarget ... so that i can use the other draggable MC's without the visual interference of the previous draggable button/MC.

Ending The Star Fields...
Hello. I'm using some action script I came across on Flashkit that generates a star field.

The problem i've run into is, I can't seem to end the star field. If I set this code on the first frame, it continues throughout all the scenes in my flash movie. I would like to stop the star field at the end of my first scene. Can anyone please offer some advice? Thanks, it is much appreciated!
Movie Ending To Be Repeated
ok how do make the last sequence of my movie repeat itself until the viewers decides that it aint worth watching no more. i want one basically i have about 8 layers that need to remain on the screen, one of which needs to repeat a simple movement across the screen i tried playing around with the goto function but had trouble with it can someone gimme like an idiots guide or something?
Ending A Motion Tween
I have a keyframe at 1st frame, and another at the 20th frame. I insert a motion tween between them but it turns out to be a dotted line and not an arrow. It appears that the motion tween ends at 19 but i need to know how to end one firmly. thanks alot guys.
Also i was wondering, should mc's be used alot in the main timeline, or is most of the flash work done in the main timeline itself?
Ending Animations? (stop)

I have a tweened frame, currently its looping itself. I need it to animate once then the text to stop and just be static on the screen.
I know i need to add a stop to the frame but cant work out how!

Ending External SWF Loop
Very basic - I'll try to keep the explanation simple:
I am doing some very simple frame-by-frame animations with audio. I have 10 small animation SWFs total. I am not using scenes, I am just publishing small movies here.
The first animation (we'll call this Level O) is a simple transition - kind of a color swipe across the screen. It's named "curtain.swf" At the end of this clip is an action:
loadMovieNum("otto_vox.swf", 1);
stop();
"otto_vox.swf" is the name of the SWF I wish to play after our Level 0 movie.
Then "otto_vox.swf" has an action at the end of its timeline:
loadMovieNum("mirth_vox.swf", 2);
stop();
And so on (and it all plays fine). But on my number 9 SWF, I wish to play that "curtain.swf" (Level 0) once more, but keep it from endlessly looping and calling "otto_vox.swf" (Level 1) again.

Ending Loop &proceeding
ok i have a file that i haved looped..i want the button to be able to tel the loop to play till end of loop then ocntinue on if the button has been pressed..i have already been told an excelent solution but im afriad i dont know hw to do it..this is it

Help With Ending Movie Clips
In my flash at the start I have a movie clip. The code is set to make a neat text effect, then it stops so the user can view the text. However when I want to transition to the next scene, the movie clip won't go away. Is there some command I need to do (unload a movie clip)?
Also, my code is set so once all the letters are done with the animation (about half way in the code is done processing) the scene will change. However halfway in would be a bad time to switch it, so what could be done there?

Ending Load Images
hey people im using a script which loads external jpg files into a movie clip. What i need to do however is create a dynamic text file that says "loading..." which the next file is being loaded from the server and then say "End of Gallery" when the last image has been loaded and no more images are left in the sequence.
