Flash :: Transparent Background HELP NEEDED

URGENT REPLY NEEDED: Background To Transparent (alpha 0%)
Ok, my assignment deadlien is tomorow.. i know how to make thignso n the stage transparent.

however for my website i am building i already have a background .jpg img. i want my button to use that background image which is there already and thus have the background transparent.

I can change the fill and line tools to alpha 0% or even nothign ness with the red / in the box. but when on a new scene i click on the backgroudn solour box at the bottom in the properties area and there is no option to make it transparent.

how can i do this?

I know I can make the main _root background transparent by adding awmode = transparent property to the html embedding code. But what if I want more complex effects... it´s easier if you see what I´m trying to do... visit this URL and note the flash animation -> www.chapeco-online.com.br/test . It has a transparent background and a little fade in effect done by a simple motion tweening... what if I want to motion tween from a transparent color (so the html background shows up) instead of white? Is that possible?

Having Difficulties Trying To Change White Background Of Flash Menu Into Transparent Background
How would I best go about changing a Flash menu that currently has a white background into a Flash menu with a transparent background?

I want to take that menu (with a transparent background) and place it over a side-bar image that i've got in DW.

Any help/advice'd be greatly appreciated.

In a bit of a pickle here; I need a way to insert a swf file into any color background website, so it automatically matches up.

Now, can one make the swf files background transparent? And match the background of any given websites background?

Or, can one use some sort of XML file and simply change this xml file to match the background color of the website?

Now, what if the website uses a particulare pic background? How would one match this?

As usual folks, I am stuck between a rock and a hard place, so any help deeply apprecaiteed!

in the modify movie window for flash5 one has the ability to choose various background colours for the flash project. However there are no options to create transparent backgrounds. The HTML publish settings allow for transparent and windowless swf,s. But is it possible to create a projector or exe with a transparent background, if so HOW?

I would like to make the background of my entire movie transparent so I can use a DHTML layer to place it on top of html text. When I go to the Movie Properties dialog box, I only have color choices so I can't set the alpha of the color to 0. Please help.

i have added a motion blur text in my movie. i created part of it in photoshop, adding a motion blur to my word. then in flash i created the word again without a motion blur. it works fine, but when i change my bkground colour, there is a white box around my word. how to i make it transparent? thanks in advance!

I currently am defining the properties of an image movie clip via querystring variables. Right now, I successfully set the color, but need to also set it as transparent.

I know there is the property _alpha which can set a 0% transp, but not sure how to apply it to what I have.

Hello, i am making flash cartoons out of pictures (old nintendo sprites) i downloaded off of a site. when i paste them in flash it puts a filled, colored box around the picture, but when i open it in adobe or any other program, the background is transparent. How do i make it so i can paste pictures into flash and have the background be transparent???

i go to paint shop pro...erase the background..save as jpeg 16million colors, it says it needs to convert to 1 layer...and i put it on a background, and i get a big white box around my character! how do i get rid of that...make a REAL transparent background, or am i just saving it as as wrong file type?

could someone simply tell me if it is possible to have a transparent backgroud? obviously im a rookie. i have this animation in the shape of a circle and im trying to put it into a web page but it is producing too much white space around it because of the white box. it would be great if i could get ride of the white box and have only the circle.
