Can anyone tell me how to do it?

I have a whole bunch of WAV files, and for each of them I am to create a SWF file, which will contain this WAV (of course compressed as MP3) on the first frame, and then on a separate leyer there will be a stop action on the last frame, corresponding to length of this WAV. The SWF is supposed to have the same name as WAV. I
s there any way to automate this process?

I have several hundred FLA files that I need to export to Adobe Illustrator. Essentially all I need to do is open each FLA file using MX2004 and Export Image... Adobe Illustrator 6 (but automatically - a sort of batch job)

Have a 3D Max scene where the camera zooms into a city - the start to a comic strip. Want to trace bitmap the bitmap sequence rendered in Max, but can only seem to do it one frame at a time. Is there a way to do a batch trace bitmap, so I don't have to do each frame individually.

Batch Bitmap To Vector Conversion
I have a video which I exported as over 1,000 image sequence bitmaps. I want to convert them into vector images and then re-animate them to create a hand-drawn effect. I have access to both PC and MAC machines. Is there a way to do a batch conversion for these files using flash's "trace bitmap" filter? Can OS X's Automator do this? I'm looking for something similar to photoshop's actions recorder, where the computer does the teadious work for me after I program the workflow. Any suggestions?

Batch Export Images From Several FLA Or Batch Printing From Several SWF
I've doing a work with little maps (329x175 px), almost two hundred of them. Each map is in a different FLA file named from 001.fla to 198.fla.

Now I need to export each map as an image.

My question is: Is there any tool, command or mxp extension to automate the task of:

1- Open the file
2- Select File > export > export image... > ...
3- Open the next file go to 2

Is there anyway of automating this task?
The main objective of exporting the fla as images is printing them all at once, so it also can be a way of automaiting the print task. I have all the fla files exported as SWF so:

It is possible to automate the printing of all the swf?

I am developing a app that needs to read .eps files. I know that you cannot import .eps into flash (or can you). There are approx 10,000 files I need to use. They will obviously be loaded as needed. My question is: do I need to convert all of these manually or does anyone know of a batch process to do this or is there a more effecient way to do this?

Batch -> .fla To .swf
On my work computer I have an option of right clicking on an .fla and converting the file to a .swf file (it does multiple files as well)

I want to be able to do this on another machine but I can't remember what program or extension I installed that gave me those options.

Does anyone have that extension or program or have a similar program?

I've followed some instructions found on this site in the tutorials about writing a .bat file to run open a file from a standalone projector - such as a Excell spread sheet.

However I got stuck at "right click on file and check the box that says 'quit on exit'" can anyone help me by explaining how in detail one goes about making a batch file as I'm a Mac user and I totally don't understand!!!

Batch Import Of PDF's?
I have a few 1000 PDF's that I want to convert to SWF files.. These PDF's are all vector based files so when imported to Flash I get a perfect Vector image of the PDF. I have tried various tools without much luck. SWFTools' has a pdf2swf and it does a fantastic job, but only on certain pdf's. They still use the original version of xpdf and thus can not convert all features over.

I have tried others and they simply convert the pdf to a raster image which is of no use..

Basicly what I want to do is import the pdf and save it to swf with the same filename as the orginal pdf file. Anyone know how this can be done?

Batch Add Preloaders
Hi,

I have a problem with a website that I have done lately (http://www.royalcolibri.com).

As you can see, this site is VERY heavy, and I didn't implement any preloader, which causes it to load very slowly on some connections...

I would like to know if there is a simple way to add preloaders to the 68 SWF files that the site uses, without having to do it manually for each of them

Batch Apply?
I´m in the making of a site, and i´ve got many pictures, that should fade in from alpha 50% to 100%. I´ve used the motion-tween and put it in a Movie Clip a million times. Is it possible to make some kind of batch apply on these pictures???? (imported jpegs, converted to bitmap, finally converted to grapich)

Flash Batch
Not sure this is a newbie thread. Since I'm fairly new to flash (just starting to play around with menus, etc.), I thought it might be a good idea to go ahead and post here (I couldn't find anything about this anywhere). Here it goes:

I'm looking for an application that might or might not exist. I need something that can automatically replace images within the FLAs that I create, by other (most likely equally sized) images.

Why, you may ask?

I'm trying to create standardized flash menus. I can do it manually by cloning the original FLA and substituting its images, but this will take a looooooong, long time.

I know to want this in an 'automatic' way sounds lazy. It just really sounds that way. If I could access the FLA's code and change the file names' occurences, it would spare me a great deal of effort.

I've also searched for software for this. So far, no luck.

Any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance.

What I want the script to do is to create a folder with the name of the project file.. i.e. if the file is called seq1.fla it will create a folder called seq1, then export the pngs to that folder for that seq etc..
I thought using fl.getProject().name for getting the name of the project,but it just seem to return an error. saying " This object has no properties"

i have 140 .flas, i need to re-export all of them to .swf format, is there a batch process available in Flash to do this without having to open them up one at a time?

Is there anything else available besides Sorenseon Squeeze that does batch processing to FLV's? I've found that the output is dirty compared to exporting directly from QT or After Effects.

Batch Preloading
I would like to preload several thumbnails at once. What I mean by that
is that I would load for example 10 jpgs that each will by 20k, but the
preloader would show progress for all of them at 200k. Of course I would
like this to be dynamic, where flash will look and see how large the
jpgs are to determining how much to preload. Is this possible, or oven
good to do?

Batch Converting
Hi Everyone

This may be a simple question. Is there a way to batch process .mov or .av files on the flash media server so that they get converted into .flv files. I have a number of staff who can access the server but I would like to setup a watched folder that they could drop their files into and Flash media server would automatically convert them into .flv files. Can this be done?

I'm looking for a program much like URL Action Editor but this program must do large scale batch renaming. I have about 1000 swf are sitting on one server and now need to be sent over to another server and the URLs will be incorrect. the UAE is exactly what i'm after, but wondering if there is a tool that does a batch rename. Well my situation is, I have 40 of the same exact flash application, just different content inside of each. Well I ran into a problem last time I worked on this kind of project where they wanted to change the logo. I had to open each FLA file individually and change the logo 40 times Is their some sort of batch editor or JSFL command that would do this?

Batch/multiple Preloadings
Heya! How is it possible, or is it possible to have several flash movie clips preload one after another?

For example, I have this Flash Movie that is like an MP3 Player with 10 tracks. As soon as track 1 is done, track too has to load (because there is a preloader on each track) therefor there is a gap between track1, and track2, and so on. Can I have all the other tracks download while track 1 is playing (into their browser cache of course) so there isn't any wait but rather a smooth transition?

Is Component/UI Batch Processing Possible?
I'm trying to find the best way to update dozens of custom user interfaces for components I've created. I am providing them online in both MX and Flash 5 formats, but it is tedious when I make changes to the user interfaces, because I want the Flash MX version to use an embedded UI, and the Flash 5 version to use an external UI. So, I manually embed the UI into the Flash MX version, then set it to "external" and resave it as Flash 5. Doing this many times is not really fun, especially since I package them in nested ZIP files for convenience for the user (so they only need to download one file, which contains both the Flash 5 and MX versions).

Here's my question -- is there a way to attach custom UIs to a component from the command line, or perhaps with some unix tool I can write a script to call, such that I can automate this process? I really need a "batch processor" of sorts for components and UIs. Any thoughts? I think a lot of people are still using Flash 5, so I don't want to go MX-only just yet. Thanks for any suggestions!

I've got about 500 practically identical swf's

each will call a different video clip, and there are about 7 variables to be embedded.

Is there any way to batch create the swf's from a template - pulling the information from a csv file?

I really can't find anything which will allow me to do this quickly and efficiently.

Batch Exporting SWFs
I've been told that it's impossible to batch export swfs but I'm sure someone's figured out a way.

I have a project w/about 30 flas and I need to export them all every few hours and it's driving me nuts.

Anyone know of a way to export all your open FLAs?

Batch Files For CD Project
Dear all,

I have been looking for a solution for my CD project with many different office files (Excel, word).

As each file has different name, I have created many batch files to be able to call it from Flash animation (Flash MX 2004).

everything is working perfect. The only thing is that there are almost 12 different batch files under fscommand folder.

and they are visible on the CD rom (from Windows explorer).

I was wondering whether there is any other solution to combine all batch files (or hide them ?).

Any other suggestions?

Can You Batch Flash Files?
I have over 500 flash files that have a stop script on the first frame which waits for the user to press the play button until the movie will play. I need to convert all movies to .wmv files. I need the stop script and play button removed on all the flash files, is there a way to batch the files so I dont have to open every file and manually do thiese steps? I already have a utility that will convert the swf files to wmv files in a batch so all I really need is to batch the process of the files to remove the scipts and save the files back where they were.

Batch 100 Parameters To 100 Components
I have a list of 100 parameters which I want to add to 100 components (library items).
Throughout flash MX to CS3 I've never found a way to automate /batch it. Neither managed with jsfl/jsapi. Looks as if CS4 doesn't offer anything new.

anybody any idea if it's possible in CS4?

Batch Export .FLA To .SWF Files
My project consists of a top level root.FLA which imports runtime shared symbols from dozens of other .FLA files. When I need to re-export all the .FLA files as SWFs it is a major pain in the ass.

Does anyone here know of a tool to just take a list of .FLA files and export a .SWF for each?

I have to create two hundred Dynamic Fields which names begin with "fld" followed with a number from 001 to, say, 200.
How can I create them in one click without to have to change te name of each field in the Property Panel ?

Soooo i need to save a txt file soo i was thinking about making a batch file to that would save the txt on the sites server...

I have some experiance with batch file programming and have been programming in C++ for 4 years but any ideas to how to save a string from flash in to a txt file. Any one have an idea.

I was also thinking about doing a perl script that would allow me to upload but if i could get this to work that would be awesome.... 5 more days untill i need it done i just have this one last thing too .... DOH
