How To Do This?

Hi all, I would like to create my site similar to this http://www.curvemusic.ca/ What i mean is I want to maintain the size for the middle box to be constant even with the resize of the browser. As well, does anybody know where i could find similar cool sounds for buttons? thanks in advance...
