Hi,
I was wondering if someone could help me,
im creating a site and ive drawn the outlines of my screen in flash, now i want the screen to flash (if you know what i mean) once the lines have been drawn.
Can anybody help me.

How To Make Flash Screen Saver Always Fit Screen?
hi.
i'm trying to make a screen saver just for the pleasure of myself and a few close friends in my team. i've searched everywhere but have not found an answer to the following problem. although i use this command:

fscommand("fullscreen", true);
in the first frame of my movie, the screen saver does not fit the screen all around as it should. yes, it does scale to a certain extent, but only according to the dimensions of the original fla, that is, it'll stretch only horizontally or vertically until the stage limit leaving a gap either to the top or sides... and this won't do as my friends have different stage dimensions as me.
so. can someone please tell me what i'm missing? i'm using flashforge to produce the .scr. i've tried with trial versions of a couple of similar converters, but the problem persists. must be something with my .fla settings.

Can You Make Flash Screen Unscaleable...
I'm making a demo in Flash (my first project) that utilizes a couple of screenshots from a website. It looks fine on playback over a web browser as long as the aspect ratio it was created in (769 x 528 pixels) is maintained. But when you make the browser page bigger or smaller by resizing the outer corners it looks terrible, as the Flash file resizes along with it. Is there any way, either in creating the published file, or when it is posted to the website, to make the Flash file itself (not the browser page) unscaleable? I'm very new at this and I've exhausted all avenues (and many hours of experimenting) trying to figure out how to do this!! I'm nearly bald from tearing my hair out!

I need the flash projector file to open full screen when the user views it from a CD. Is there any way I can specify this in flash? I also need the movie to keep it's proportions i.e. the movie will play in the middle.

Does anybody know the best way to do this? Does your flash files have to be certain dimension to start with? And what code do you use to do that? I think I heard you have to use Java script?

Can't Make "Go To Screen" Work In Flash Slide Show
I'm working on my first effort in Flash 8 using the nifty-looking screens option. After following a tutorial, I created a screen presenation, with a top presenation screen and five child screens. All of my navigation buttons reside on the parent presenation screen. The "home" - "back" and "next" buttons all work perfectly. However the buttons along the top which should lead you into the individual pages, chosen by topic, do not work. (Well, to be precise, the first button works, but the others do not.

I've tried all sorts of variations, and I cannot get the buttons called BBQ, Chef-at-Home and About Us to Work.
The structure of the presentation is as follows:
The top page has just the top and bottom navigation on it.
the first child has the opening navigation which plays automatically.
The button working to the second child "Buffet Style" works.
But even when I duplicate the behavior dialogue choices exactly, none of the other buttons work. They move to a blank screen.
Can anyone help? I am truly baffled!

Best Way To Make Full-Screen?
I've looked at sooo many sites wondering the best way to make one .fla file that would take up the full screen and NOT look distorted no matter what the screen resolution was.
All of these fancy flash sites have flash files open up in a javascript window (which I understand), but then they take up every pixel from corner to corner on my screen, and I'm on a 1440x900 resolution.
I've checked around everywhere for the best way. The only advice I've found was to publish the HTML inside flash so the that movie is 100% x 100%. That I understand...
However, I did this, and my file now looks all distorted, the images are pixel stretched, the text isn't clear. I don't understand if I have to start with 1440x900 and then make it smaller, or if I need to account for the ratio in width compared to height.
I'm lost on this one and would love to know how if anyone call guide me. Thanks.

I am working on a website and would like the indexfile to open a pop-up window within flash to avoid regular pop-up blockers, in a "clean" window.
The code I currently use for loading the website in a pop-up window of 990 by 700 is:

I have two questions:
- Can this code be changed so the pop-up will be full screen, not a fixed size?
(Or is there another way to do it?)
- If I do not want people to click on a link like "enter" in order to get the pop-up window, but load automaticly like it does now, I still get blocked by pop-up blockers. Can this also be fixed?
The unblocked pop-up load full screen needs to work on both PC and MAC.

Hello, I'm very new to making sites in flash so i greatly appreciate any help you can offer. I built the site in flash, published it to HTML and uploaded to my server. However if any of the buttons are clicked before the whole page is loaded the buttons do not work properly. I think i would fix this by making a preloader page? If i am right about that any tips on how to do that would be greatly appreciated. And if im wrong...how do i get around this problem?
