Wanna Make An Easy $50?
Hey guys, I've got a little project, and I need someone to program some action script for it. The project is a simple game (possibly the most simple game that has ever existed) which consists of some drawn out charectors popping up from behind buildings, missiles falling from the sky, and some creatures moving from left to right and right to left on the stage. The point of the game is to click on them, and play a small drawn animation of an explosion.

My hope is that the game could be kept to the simplest actionscript. Really basic stuff like 'mouseup' 'mousedown' and such. However, it should have a few basic sounds, which I will provide.

Like I said, really, really basic stuff that a beginner could understand. If you really understand Actionscript well, I wouldn't expect it to take much more then an hour and a half to two hours to do. I understand a little beginner Actionscript, but not enough to do the entire project.

The drawings and sound will be provided by me, by whatever means you would like. I can put the drawings and files up on a server, and you can download them directly, and follow a breif game design form, or I can mail you a CD overnight with all the files on it. (At no cost to you, of course.)

I've got a design form to this game, to give you a better understanding of what I'm looking for, and what the project entails. Just email me or message me for a copy.

Payment is $50, US, and can be transfered more or less however you'd please, if you have a paypal account, I'd be glad to transfer money that way, or I can mail you a check, etc, as soon as I have the game and it functions.

I Wanna Make A Rollover Banner
Hi.
I want to make a rollover banner which when i move to cursor over it will expand over the website and will contract if i move the mouse off of it.
I wonder how can i do that? Because if i have a motion tween which expands the movie clip on the stage lets say from 200 height to 400 height the exported swf has 400 height anyway and i will not be able to use a part of the site because of the flash.

So i want to make it resize the stage when i start the motion tween. And back to 200 when i roll out.
How can i resive the whole document from within flash using AS 2?

I Wanna Make A Dynamic Image Gallery
Hi there,
I need to make a dynamic image gallery. there are about 300 images and creating mc for so many images will be very time consumable work.
Is there anyway i can do it thru action scripting. I am not good with it too, i can load dymanic txt, can i load images dynamically in movie clips and is there anyway to add on movie clips or images in the flash file without actually edditing the flash file, instead just adding files in the image folder.

Anyone Want To Help Make A Flash Intro For A Band?
I told my friend that I wanted to make him a nice flash intro for his bands website since his website SUCKS right now. Thing is, I only have minimal experience in Flash...I've only done one thing before. I'd like to do a cool intro with his bands name and just have some type of "Skip Intro" link for the people that aren't interested. I Wanna Make A Zoom To An Object From A Draggable Scrollbar
Hello, I realy need a little AS help with an object (a square) that I wanna zoom it (in and out), progresively, from a scrollbar. Let me be more specific:

There is a horizontal scroll bar and a blue square. When I drag my scroll to the right the sqoare needs to grow, and when I drag my scroll to the left my square needs to minimize.

I Wanna Make Transition Colors On 1 Graphic Whit AS And Different Buttons
How Can I make color transition on a graphic which can blend in one a other.

This means I have a button that when I hit it it will change the color of the graphic.

But I dont wanna make a simple Click and then the graphic becomes blue. I want the new color to tween whit the old one.

Lets say a green thats is fading into a blue!

But I have multiple buton whit different colors that will have to tween on one the a another.

Make A Flash Intro Play Only Once, Even When Page Is Reloaded.
I'm designing a website for a client, and we want the intro to play only once. I'm trying to save myself the trouble of creating more than one flash file so that the intro will play when they first visit the site, but it won't afterwards.

Make An Intro Page

Problem... Cna't Make Intro Work
Hey all,
I'm having a problem when I try to adjust my movie to work. I made 2 "movie clips" and then I put them in my "Scene 1" the 1st clip on frame 1 and the 2nd on frame 2. Now I play da movie and it plays the 1st frame of the first clip and then just jumps to the 1st frame of the 2nd clip and then it finishes. I don't understand! I'm pretty sure that that's how I made it work in flash 4 and it would play the whole 1st clip before going to the next one... Now I'm lost! . I'm new to flash 5 so maybe this is really obvious, but whatever... Thx for any help... Later

P.S. The names of the clips and scenes (if it helps):

Scene 1 = intro
Clip 1 = UGL
Clip 2 = Powered

Help With Trying To Make A Cool Intro Page
Well first off just wanted to say hi to everyone and thanks in advance for anyone who can help me out with my question. Here we go. What i want to do is for an intro page i am going to have a turbo with the impeller facing forward

basically this picture, or something that might work better

Then what i am looking to do is that when you mouse over the impeller the blade will actually spin and have a sound like a turbo spooling up and then if you take the mouse off of it there will be a sound like a blow off valve going off. Then when you click on the impeller you get taken into the site. Is this possible?? Thanks.

Yet whenever I test movie or publish swf file it always starts the game scene first and people don't get to read the intro and press the play button..

What Do I Do To Make My Main Menu Open After A Intro?

I hope someone could help me with a problem I have.

I,m working on a website, and my "Intro" is complete and my
"Menu" is close to completion.
Now I need to have my "Intro" play and then once it is finished
I,d like very much that my "Menu" would directly proceed it.

Now I had placed a keyframe with an action at the end of the "Intro"
and it says "Goto and play "Menu,1" (I don,t know if this the right command
or if is where it should be?)
However, nothing happens, and my Intro only "Loops" instead of opening the
Menu.

Can you please tell me what I am doing wrong and is there someway to remedy
this problem, I,m sure it is quite simple and under my nose, but for the life of

Trying To Make Preloader W/ Looping Intro Sound
Thanks in advance to pointing me in a good direction.

I am still a NooB to Flash, but did finally get to build a successful preloader (ahem). Now that I have that built, I was wondering if it is possible to loop a sound within the preloader 'scene'. This is what I have built for final production:

Scene 1: Diesel Startup Sound

Scene 2: Preloader movie, while main movie loads (w/ loopable diesel engine sound?)

Scene 3: Sounds stop, plays 10 sec movie, then 'goes to url'

Can anyone point me in a direction to see a preloader w/ looped sound, or a project that shows how to do this? Or, even better, show me how the code should look? I'm getting lost in code!?

I'm a 4 day old newby, but managed to create a decent movie introduction page.

There are two questions I would love an answer to:

1) How do I make my Preload movie page full screen size. It presently only opens to the browser window size.

2) I would also like the preload page to load then time-out and close prior to my website starting up.

Simple Website With Intro Of Different Size, Should I Make Two Separate Swf Files?

I am trying to make a website with a simple intro, the problem is that the intro is smaller than the website, so i am not sure if i need to make two swf files or if the doc size can be changed on the run.

The website's heigh will cause the vertical scrollbar to appear, i don't want that for the intro so putting everything in one file is not possible unless the document size is changeable on the run.

Any ideas would be very appreciated.

Also in case i need to make two different files with different doc size is it possible to preload the website's file from the intro, and switch the files without a page reload?

How do I write a formula to adjust my guys head so when he goes "left" or right, his head is thinner, (like your looking on him sideways)

and when he goes up/down, to be bigger so basically

when he's going up and down his head width is about 20-30, and when he's going left/right, its about 5-10

I've been trying for about 1 and a half hours, with no success

I need help on this one. I have used the start and stop drag AC for pulling a sword in and out of its sheath(holster). Thats all it has to do.
