Flash Logo Use
I am having problems using the flash and shockwave logo as specified in my licensing agreement. I keep getting a parsing error when I import from Illustrator or Photoshop or the downloaded file directly.
If anyone has gone through this licensing process and can tell me in plain, non lawyer language where the logo is required, I really appreciate it. Mine is a CD delivery, not on the Internet. I'm shipping the full Shockwave player.

Could anybody possibly help me on here i have a phpbb borad running and i need to change a flash graphic on it and i dunno anything at all about it ... Its a very small logo so i was wondering if anybody had any spare time on here could they do it for me...

3ds Max Logo For Flash
The problem i'm having is that i want to render a few 3d logos for flash and i don't have swift 3d. I want to use 3ds max to do this but the 3d logo shapes and text look so plain and flat. I would like a smooth rounded effect for the text edges, and also a slight bulge for the faces of the logos. I try the "meshsmooth" modifier but it just deforms the shapes. Can anyone help me as to how i can get smooth edges with text and logos in 3ds max?

Hi! i really need help editing a flash logo cuz.. i cant edit flash documents from themes and stuffs. i dunno why but i think i am using the wrong version or something. when i open the themes resources and try to edit the flash logo my Macromedia Flash MX says "unexpected file format" i get that everytime i open flash documents from php nuke themes.

Pls! help me edit my flash logo and just put my site name on it il send the resources through email.

Animated Logo In Flash
I need to have an animated logo play within my flash movie. The logo is on a web sever. I tried to to use the geturl, and load movie actions in flash 5, but it will one not work, or two play my movie up up tp the frame in which I have the action set, and then open a new window with just the animated logo playing. I would like to have the animated logo play whithin my flash movie, in the lower left hand corner.

Will Someone Edit .fla For Me - Don't Have Flash - Just Add My Name To Logo
I downloaded a theme for my forum and it included a .fla file ... the problem is, I don't have flash. I only need my site's name (jeffsmith.ws) added to the .fla and it converted to a usable format (.swf).

Importing A Logo Into Flash
I am having trouble importing a logo into Flash. It keeps getting distorted when I test the movie. I haven't adjusted the size at all or anything and it is in .jpg format. Is there a format that would work better for flash or anything else i can do? Thanks!

Developing A Flash Logo
I am currently in a web development class and for the final exam we have been given a website which we are supposed to tweak. Something we can do for extra credit is develop a Flash logo. I have never worked with Flash before, so I am wanting to know how difficult this might be because I know numerous people on this board have worked with it. I am not wanting to do anything outrageous just something professional.

I would want a car moving across the screen and then following behind that the name of the company which comes to a stop in the center. Then under the name comes the company motto. Would that be too difficult for a newbie like myself? Any other suggestions? I am welcome to any ideas you may have that may be better suited for a newbie like myself.

Flash Logo On CD Label?
I am working on a Flash application that is going to be exported as a projector file and burned onto CDs for distribution. Does anyone know if I need to put a "Made with Flash" type of logo on the CD label? I've looked around for information on this, but I can't seem to find anything that specifically mentions this. Vector Logo In Flash
Hello again,

I recently vectorized a client's logo (they didn;t ahve avector of it for some reason) and changed the colours etc. all in Photoshop.

But when I use the .swf in their web site, the image is still blurry/fuzzy, etc. even if I have matching dimensions.

Is there a way to import a vector image from Photoshop (not a JPEG, but so I don't ahve to do the vector image in flash)?

Or is there yet another way to make the logo look better?

Using The Flash Name/logo For My Site?
Hello- this isn't exactly a technical question but I thought it would be the best place to ask. If I created a flash website that had 'flash' in the title and used a custom made version of the adobe flash logo, could I get into trouble for that? Or do I have to do one of those deals where I put a little R by the name or something? Just thought I'd check...

I am looking to design a logo using flash for my church (we already have a static logo, but we want a flash version.

The problem is, all I know of Flash is creating a slide show so not really sure how to progress.

Cannot Import Vector Logo Into Flash MX
I cannot import a vector logo into a flash piece. All the harder stuff is finished except for the simple little logo. I have tried saving it as .eps and .ai (versions 6, 9, & 10) and importing it into the Library and also just importing into the document. I get an error message saying Flash can only import .eps files (even when I'm am importing an .eps file!) I have tried exporting the logo as .swf file. When I export to SWF, and look at the SWF file alone, it's fine. When I import it, the larger shapes (a sail, some type) look fine, the smaller shape of a handwritten signature gets kind of... inverted. What should be the empty spaces inside letters like 'e' etc. are solidly filled with the color and the rest of the signature isn't there at all. I don't think I have ever exported from AI to .SWF before - does anyone have any pointers (or a link) on what Export Options I should select so that the imported image is true to the original? (I tried enlarging the logo to 85 inches, and even that didn't work.)

I did manage to save it as a bitmap with a transparent bg, but that's useless to me as re-sizing it in the animation as my client has requested results in a fuzzy-edged nightmare. I have tried copy-and-pasting it into the Flash document, and while the larger shapes work fine there is a handwritten signature that is a part of the logo that just won't paste correctly. (Also it seems to drop some of the vector points in the corners of certain letters, which, although it looks kind of cool, unfortunately isn't the company's logo.)

Has anyone encountered this same brickwall? Any suggestions would be extremely helpful. I am using Flash MX and Illustrator 10 on Panther, if that helps in any way.

Vector Logo Breaking Apart In Flash
Hello.
I have a detailed vector-based illustrator logo. (small type with a shield) When I bring it into Flash it distorts the logo as if it had too many points and just eliminates various points, leaving the logo unreadable.
I have tried:
1. Copy & Paste from Illustrator to Flash (leaves out certain points on the logo)
2. Save as an eps., import into Flash (not as good as quality as if it were a vector based drawing)
3. Save as a png, import into Flash (not as good as quality as if it were a vector based drawing)

???

Is there anyway to have a detailed vector-based drawing maintain it's detail & vector quality when importing into Flash.

Let me know if anyone has had this problem or if there is a solution.

Flash Logo As Email Signature: How Do You Do This?

I have created a logo in Flash, which I now would like to use as an email signature and if possible as a header in word documents.

I have been trying to do this but it looks very bad. I publushed the fla as a jpeg but the quality is very low, I hardly can read the text.

How can I do this, please help!

[CS4] Centered Logo Above A Flash Background.
It was hard to come up with a title for this specific question..

This is meant to be a simple teaser site, showing one of four images in the background, with the logo floating above it.

The original idea was to have the background be a flash file, so it could smoothly rotate the images. However I need to know if it is possible to have the logo and background on two seperate layers. (HTML over Flash?) Because that logo needs to be centered at all times, whilst the rotating background images need to retain their scale and position.

- The logo needs to be horizontally centered to the browser windows at all times.
- There can't be any scrollbars regarding the background image, the image also needs to stay the same size. (not scale according to the window size)
- The background needs to smoothly transition from image to image.

I copped out and made the site using HTML and javascript, doing it this way works but won't allow me to have smooth image transitions.

What would be the best way to go about this? Thanks for any help!

Forum News In Flash Logo
I am very new to flash and php. I had a design a logo contest for my forum and the best of the bunch has the newsticker from kirupa. What I would like to do, instead of loading news from a text file, is have it dynamically loaded from my forum news section. I have absoultley no idea how to accomplish this amazing feat of programming.

The forum (run on invision board) has included a news php script that makes it extremely easy to export news to a html page. What I need to do is call the script and take the results from the script and import the results in to the flash logo.

The information I am looking to extract is: post_date, topic_title, post, and the view comments link.

I have included the news script in a zip file and the html template that it uses for the results.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Flash Website: Animating Logo

I have an animating logo, which animates when the user comes to the starting page (only once). Sort of like an introduction to the webpage. The logo animates and then stays fixed in the left corner.

Making Spinning Logo In Flash
First off, I dont know if I have this flash mx, I have a program that when loaded says macromedia flash 8 professional but doesnt say mx or anything.

Ok I have a program for my carpc that changes the whole windows desktop into a small more 8in lcd friendly interface.
