i want to create a flash site but not quite sure how to make it like the one from the given site.. by that i mean i want a flash file that is fully stretched to fit any browser..
i've tried folowing the tutorial on this site about setting the publish settings but somehow it doesnt work for me..

I can't find any info on this. Maybe there is something in javascript I could use through flash or something of that sort. If so I have yet to find it. Any help would be appreciated.

I am doing image panning, so when it gets maximized the some of my tricks in animation gets visible.

Maximize Flash Projector Window (noob)
OK, with Flash MX I have a quick intro as a projector file which then runs my main cd-rom presentation (a swf file).

I'm looking for a way in which I can maximize the main presentation so that it hides the users desktop, but keep the movie size itself the same (700x550). When I run it I can manually maximize the presentation but is it possible to do it automatically, perhaps using an fscommand?

I've just finished an interactive cdrom. I have desgned it at 800/600. problem is when you maximize this or play it at fullscreen it slows the movie right down.

Hello, I just posted my site, but there is one thing I'm concerned about. I'm trying to allow the user turn it from downsized wondow to a full screen window. As a quick bandaid I made two different swf files and two different html pages, the only difference between the two swfs is the button in the upper right hand corner, in code and symbols. Is there a way to maximize a flash projector file on start up.
I DO NOT want it full screen, i still want to be able to see the windows start bar and clock and so on.
I need it to be maximized not full screen.

How Do You Maximize The Stage
Hi there, I got a dual monitor setup and I'm trying to get all the panels (including the flash window if that has to be viewable) to one monitor and only the stage on the other monitor, that means that on one monitor the monitor is completely white if the stage is at 100% and has the same resolution as the monitor.
I hope someone can be of asistance.

Something I thought would have been super easy is turning out to be difficult!!

I have a .exe projector file. (I am using MX 2004)
I know how to fullscreen using the fscommand, but I need the Windows bottom "start bar" to be available.
So my programme needs to be in a window.

But... when I autorun or click the .exe file. It randomly places the window on my screen.
The problem is that I want it to be maximized when run!!

Dose anyone know of any other script I could use.
Just a maximize screen = true type thing??

Hello all,

I have a Flash application of 140 .swfs. I am using a .exe projector file that calls all the other .swfs..

My issue is when the application is first started its at the document size of like 500x500 but if a user maximizes the window and then clicks a link to go to a different .swf, the new swf gets loaded but the window becomes un-maximized and gets shifted to the top left of the screen.

i want the window to stay maximized while a user is clicking around, any ideas on how to do this?

When I maximize my swf. file, there is a problem as the items that are outside the screen (800x600) are been shown.
How can I fix this?
And if it's possible to have the maximize button inactive as I have seen this in some swf. files.

Panel Won't Maximize
Hi, I'm having trouble seeing options on my panels, particularly the Align panel. I can't see the buttons under "Match Size:" and "Space:". The "Maximize panel" option is greyed out, and I can't just drag and resize the window. How do I fix this problem? I've tried playing around with the panel sets, and even re-installed the whole thing and I still have the same problem. I'm using MX, Windows XP, on a Japanese system. I'm pretty sure I didn't have this problem before. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

Maximize From ScrollPane
I've got a ScrollPane with several images in it. But the way I have everything laid out, some of the images are too large, so you've got to scroll to see one image. Or they're too small, can you can't see all the details I'd like the viewer to see.

Is there a way to make the Images in the ScrollPane a button, and when clicked, have it maxamized in the swf so it's not in the ScrollPane anymore, it's over it. Then a little X button to close it out and continue viewing the other images?

Maximize/Restore To Default?
Here's a little feature that someone must surely be able to help
me out with.

I've got a large shockwave site, and by default, the .swf movie is
embedded into a .html at it's actual height & width. The feature
that i'm having trouble implementing however, is a 'fullscreen/
restore to default' button.

I thought about having 2 different movies (the default movie
linking to a fullscreen javascript window'd movie, and the full-
screen movie linking to the default .html), but that would mean
2 large movies inevitably doubling loading time, disk space, and
complications for storing each movies current state (ie. frame,
text field scrolling position etc).

Theoretically, I'd like a button to (in effect) change the .html's
.swf tags in real-time, between:

_________________________________

and

_________________________________

width="100%" height="100%"

_________________________________

So . . . if you've come accross, or can help with a remedy, it'd be
much appreciated.

Maximize In Any Window...with No Scale?

I have searched throughout these forums, and although fullscreen design seems to be a pretty hot topic, nobody has really answered anything about all these new sites that fit the entire window regardless of resolution. Even when you drag the corner of the window to make it any size or shape you want, these sites seem to adapt. Seperate elements of the site seem to scale or not scale independently.

Try it, play with the window, and then please, please, please, tell me how they do it! I was curious if it was possible to disable the maximize in the executible? I have a game that I am nearly done with, but I need to have the window be a fixed size. I'm trying to avoid having to embed the file into an html. I really want to keep it in the flash player.

If this is not possible, is there a way to disable the area beyond the stage? I have a rollover menu that slides off the stage that has a tab for the user to rollover on the stage. However, the user can still rollover the menu when it is in the area beyond the stage, so it's buggy. Does this make sense? Masking out the area beyond the stage does not help. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I have test files that I can upload to help show what's going on if it helps.
