Call Right Click Mouse Options
Hey,

Here comes one of those amazing questions that seems to just come into my mind

Is it possible to call the right click mouse options like zoom in and zoom out and play within flash without using right click instead of having to script it?

If not is it possible to change the descriptions of those options? Like instead of "Zoom In" appear "Aumentar".

I've noticed some websites limit the options a user has when they right click or ctrl click on the flash movie. For example the Zoom In/Zoom Out is not listed as an option. I'd like to apply this to a website I'm working on. Is this an option I've missed in the publish settings?

Right Click Menu Options
OK, this is probably really simple:
When a user right-clicks on my SWF file in the browser, I'd like the only option to be "About Macromedia Flash Player..." etc. Right now a list of several options comes up, including quality, rewind, play, zoom in, forward, back, etc.

Is this a Publish setting? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I notice on a lot of Flash Files that I see on professional sites you can not stop, forward, zoom in, or back up. I would like to know how to do this, I think it would come in handy.

MK, i have seen flash sites that have minimized the right-click flash options, such as @ http://www.magwerk.com/ ...see, this site doesn't let you zoom in and all the junk,

and then my site www.troyblank.com has all that crap, does anyone know how to get ride of all these menu options so that the site can be a little more of a control freak than the user?

ok, i try to disable right click options form my swf and it works fine when testing the movie in the computer, but options are enabled again as soon as i upload the movie to the server.

Right Click Options Missing On Image Editing
Well I figured it was time to take the plunge and start learning a bit more about Flash. Using Flash 5 I grabbed a template and started taking it apart to see how things work. I was able to change quite a few things and modify the fla. Now I would like to play around with some of the graphics and this is where I run into a problem. If I open the fla using File/Open I can access all the clips, buttons etc. using the edit symbols button in Flash 5 but the jpg and audio files don't expand even though they show the arrow like they should. When I try and open the FLA as a library I can see all the images and sounds but every option on right click is greyed out. I know I must be missing something simple here.

Or maybe not...=/

Any suggestions for me?

Hi, is there a way to make a Sprite transparent to certain (or all)
mouse events?

The display object hierarchy is not defined, or I should say that the
only thing I know for sure is that the Sprite I want to make transparent
to mouse events is a direct child of the stage.

I want the Sprite to ignore mouse events and other interactive objects
behind it to be able to catch them, even if the pointer is directly over
the Sprite. Is there a way to achieve this?

[F8] Follow The Mouse - Stop Mc At Location Of Mouse On Click
I have an mc that follows the mouse a certain distance on the x in both directions and then eases to a stop when the mouse gets a certain distance.

What I need to do is to have the mc stop on button click at the x position it is at on click. Then, when another button is clicked the animation continues from it's stopped location to the new mouse location. All with easing of course.

Here is the code for the mouse tracking:

Hi everyone,

I've created a custom cursor for my mouse and I've also created a new ContextMenu for my right click menu options. My mouse works fine, but when I right click and make a selection my custom cursor along with the standard arrow mouse appears as well. Then throughout the rest of the movie, both mouses appear. How do I permanently get rid of the standard arrow mouse and just have my custom mouse be used especially when right clicking?

For my mouse I did use: Mouse.hide();

I've done research on this topic but none seemed to address the right click part. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Mouse Click Doesn't Trigger, Mouse Down/up Does
I have a sprite that contains a bunch of sprites. Each of those sprites contain a bunch of bitmaps.

My issue is that the MouseEvent.CLICK isn't triggering on the parent sprite. However, MOUSE_DOWN and MOUSE_UP is.

Are there any cases in which this would happen? I'm having a hard time understanding why.
