Anyone know how to emulate this page turning effect on http://artpartner.com/? I've investigated the various page flip effects but the client wants it super simple and without the page curl touches.

I need help on this page flip, i mean i can't just go directly to the desired page when clicking a button....let say for instance,page 5 as in the attached file. I dont know the script that enable to go to page 5 directly when clicking on the button.

Whenever I add new pages, even with maxPages set to 10 (i want 10 pages), they don't show up. If someone could tell me how to get it working, it would be greatly appreciated!!

On this site, they have a flash clip where you can turn the pages of the book. I'm intreaged by the actual technique they have used to do this.

What kind of code/graphics would be involved with the actual distortions and lighting effects to create this overall effect so well?

I've been through dozens of search links at FK and over the web, but can't find a sinble tutorial/script for turning pages.

Below is an example of what I mean:

The problem with the above, which I did in an animated gif program, is that you can't set the bottom page, i.e., you can remove the top page, but the bottom page is always blank. However, I need to reveal additional pages beneath the top one, which must be visible as the top one is being removed.

Anyway, I've only ever seen a couple other examples of this being done, and I have no idea how it was accomplish. I think a tween is out, but I thought that perhaps it would be possible with AS, since I know that you can bend straight objects with AS.

Any ideas, Scripts, or tutorials would be appreciated.

I've seen it done in several places (I believe Natzke was the first...?), but I've yet to see a tutorial for it. Anyone know where I can find one. It doesn't seem that hard to do, but to optimize the animation may take a lot of tweaking, so I'm hoping to find a tutorial from people that's already spent the time optimizing the animation.

3D Page Turning Effect
Hello,

I'm looking at taking a monthly magazine (approx 150 pages) and posting it on the web as a virtual magazine. I've been looking at companies like NXT Book Media and Flip Pages that can present it using 3D page turning technology, but I've heard Flash can do the same thing. My three questions are:

1) Can this be done, assuming the original is in PDF
2) Can you flip the pages by clicking on them or using arrows
3) Would anyone be interested in doing this for our company on a monthly basis.

For example if I had an index at the start of the book and somebody clicked on a section it would automatically turn the pages until it reached that section.

IÂ´m making a book to my homepage with pageturning effects, but there seems to be a little error... The page turning works OK but the text fields donÂ´t follow the page it stays on the scene. I have tried to groupe the text with the page, it still stays put.

Then IÂ´ve tried with different textfields, dynamic and static, but still donÂ´t work.... Do any one out here know how to get the text to follow when the page is turned??

I'm designing this site that is kinda like a sketchbook. I've seen similar things before although they actually work as if you are turning the page.

There is another one ive see also where you actually have to grab the corner of the page and pull it across but i cant remember the link.

Any ideas on how this is done? I'm sure the AS is pretty simple, but its the actual 'page turning' look that gets me.

This is an effect that I have seen around but no idea have do it. Its an animation of a page in a book turning when you click on the flap. The graphic is a bitmap image.

So should I create a few bitmaps of the page in PS, then place them on the flash timeline?
Any suggestion would help.

Can someone take a look at this tutorial in Flashkit and tell me where I would put my pictures? I downloaded the files and would like to use but not advanced enough to know where to put the picts. Am I suppose to put them on separate frames and direct the button to take me to the frame.
