Whats The Best Sound Format For Webpage Sound Effects?
what should my button roll-over sound effects be format wise and does anyone know of some good Freeware that converts sounds between formats fairly well?

I inported a sound clip to my flash file... It sounds OK in the library. After export to SWF format, the sound seems changed....

I know I can change some settings in MX....but seems doesn't work...

Could u please take a look the fla file and teatch me how to do it?

I'm looking for some counter-strike sound effects, I tried searching google, searching this site and sounddogs.com but I found nothing. I especially need the sound of an AWP firing, and a sniperrifle zooming in.

hiya, i've made a game in flash mx but the sound effects and backing music isn't working.

I'm using Gary Rosenzweig's "Actionscript for Fun & Games" as a guide so i created a function to load the sound. this is the code:

to play the sound.

however, i have a background music that should play throughout the game but when the player gets a correct answer a sound effect plays & cuts off the background music. I think this has probably got something to do with the layers that i'm playing it on but not too sure how to adapt the code because i've tried placing the sound effects on layer 1 or 2 but it still cuts the backing music off. How can i resolve this??

Trying to figure out to add sound effects to my buttons (which are actually mcs) in this file. I'm familiar with adding sound effects to "regular" buttons using the button state frames, but I have no idea how to go about adding them to these buttons (for rollovers and clicks). Does anyone here know where I can get a CD full of good sound effects and music for flash websites?

I already know about the ultrashock CD and the soundrangers.com CD (which is horrible) Anyone here know of any other resources?

I know there are a lot of sound effects resources out on the net, but does anyone have a reccomendation of a good sound effects cd to buy? I usually don't have a problem with specific sound effects but I kinda wanted something I could have to just browse. if i want to play random (choosing from 3-4 different sounds), what's the script, and how do i do it? when space is pressed a small animation starts playing, and at that point i want the random thing.

when i download sound loops and effects as mp3s or flashtraks they come down as swf files...i don't know how to import them to use in my own file. can some one pleaze help me.

How Do You Make Sound Effects?

How can you turn off sound effects in a Flash site? I can turn off loop/bgmusic, but i can't turn off sound effects that i have in buttons or bt page transitions.

Can it be done or no?

I browsed through the sound effect libraries in Flash Kit and although the current collection is very beneficial, however, I can't seem to find the sounds that I need.

Is there a website(s) that carry a more extensive collection of sounds?

I have a question about buttons.I want to use a simple button and add a sound to down part of it.but when I drag the sound there it shows the sound added but doesn't work when in preview nor published.can you help me why?
another thing,I expressed that buttons which include sound in down part doesn't work right,because the button immediately starts to load or do something,can you tell me a way to make buttons work with sound effect in down part right?

An Mp3 Sound Effects Player
Hi there
I'm working on an mp3 sound effects player that will eventually be a
projector (ie. exe not swf). The idea is to allow the user to browse their
local disk to load their choice of sound effects - perhaps upto 5 or 6 of
them.
The problem is how to let them browse their local disk to load the effects - I'm guessing but is there a 3rd party projector (or converter from swf to exe) that will allow this?

Any help to point me in the right direction gratefully recieved.
