Picture Swipe?
Ive noticed on alot of flash sites a picture transition where it removes itself tile by tile in a quick motion......then a new photo will appear in the same tile by tile transition. Sometimes the tiles are random and sometimes they swipe across a page.

My question is how is this done?

How Do You Do That Swipe That The Boreal Mountainlink Does?
The Boreal mountain link projector has a wipeish effect when you go to another tab. I'm quessing that button tells the wipe to go which is on the main animation, then the content animation to switch. Is there a command to make flash wait a couple of seconds or until a event has happened else ware before it does something else? It looks that the current contents dissapear halfway through the wipe, then the new ones load after it is blank. Go Boreal > The Mountain > MountainLink to find it.

I'm looking for a way to make a swipe reveal using a mask. Kind of like a clock hand rotating from the center that reveals what's underneath as it passes?? Any help?

Flash For Kiosks - Reading A Card Swipe
Hi All,

I was wondering if it was possible to code for a kiosk game using actionscript to recognize and trap info from a card swipe on a kiosk machine. Perhaps using a sort of keyboard interrupt function. Is it even possible to code for Flash to recognize the card swipe?

Would appreciate any input on this subject before I devote alot of time to a possibly impossible mission.
