Hello --
Can Access develop a report in Excel with shaded areas to denote a used resource for a given timeframe?
I am building a database that will hold schedules for Trainers and Training Rooms, along with other related training class data. I'm looking to develop an excel report that will display the 52-weeks of the year down column A, and the classrooms across row one. Cell would be color-coded vertically by department.
I've attached an example:
I have a class beginning on January 1st and ends on February 28th, in Classroom C. I want Access to generate an Excel spreadsheet that will color the cells from 1/1 to 2/28 under Classroom C.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Resource Use Database
I need to create a database that tracks the usage of a resource on a monthly basis. I have the tables built that will track the contracts, clients, etc. In the contracts table I have a start date and an end date that are tied back to an inventory item. My question is how can I shows these on a datasheet like this, so that is shows the inventory items and who has what that month. Item Jan Feb Mar .... Scheduling Database
Hi all, I'm just starting on a new project to create a scheduling database for a small company (about 20 people). What i aim to do is to edit calander entries (Month view) and view calander entries hopefully using a control that looks as much like Outlook as possible again this would hopefully show what these 20 people are doing over the month. My question is: Can you use outlook to do this, or would you have to use a control and does anyone know what/how to use this control. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Matt

Employee Scheduling Database
Dear Access Expert. I would like to create a Scheduling database for employees. The database would include: - list all of the employees -tabs to look at schedule for this week, 1 week from now, 2weeks from now, 3 weeks from now, long term (1-2 months), etc -small comment section within each day for the guys to enter some comments...e.g. dentist at 10, holidays, etc There has to be something like this already out there that I can modify and work with. Is there anything like this already in the NorthWind Database that comes with Access? What about some free examples Access developers made? What about Outlook? Can I modify Outlook and use VBA somehow to accomplish this? Outlook is basically on an account basis so I don't know if I could tailor it to my 30+ employee database. Help!! Database Building Issue
Hi all, i'm new here and I have a query about a database i'm building with which any help would be appreciated. I'm designing a form and I need to be able to have an option to save to a temporary table for retrieval by users so that they can continue their saved record at a later time. Building A Database From Scratch
Hi i have a assignment in which i have to build a database with documentation (attached file has details about the assignment) I have no prior database experience, and have no idea where to start.I want to build the database for a computer store which sells computer products. I don't want to make it very complex, since my database skills at this stage are very poor. I will appreciate if someone gives me a run down or steps in building this database. Help Building A Stock Level Database
hey, is there anyone who wil be of help to me by creating me a quick and simple database. It needs to keep track how many spare parts I have. Therefore it needs to show how many of each spare part i have, and be able to update the stock levels with a submit request page that when the submit button is pressed the stock levels automatically update. the information required for each spare part is article (what the product is from), article number ( the unique article number of the product), colour (the colour which its from), spare part (what it actually is) and quantity. System Resource Exceeded
I have resolved my ip problem by creating a query that changes an ip address from 10.103.4.89 to be 010.103.004.089 However when I paste it in SQL, and try and run it I get System Resource Error.......how can I get by this?
