What .net 2.0 Download Do I Need To Install SQL Express 2005
Hi there. I'm a complete novice, trying to insall SQL express 2005. I see on the install page the following message: Download the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Before you complete a Microsoft SQL Server download and install any member of the SQL Server 2005 Express Edition family, you must install the .NET Framework 2.0. When I click on the link, and go to the downloads page at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/netframework/aa569263.aspx I see there are several downloads concerning .net 2.0, including .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (x86) .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (x64) .NET 2.0 SP1 (x86) and others Which of these files should I download? Hi all, Can someone tell me where to download the SQL 2005 Reporting Service? I looked all over the MSDN subscriber download site and could not find it. And I have the SQL 2005 developer edition DVD, could not find the reporting service in there either. Is the SQL 2005 Reporting Service now available only in the SQL 2005 enterprise DVD or something? Can't Find SQL Server 2005 Evaluation Download
Hi, I found the proper page for download of the SQL Server 2005 Evaluation and I went through the steps of registering, setting up an account, etc. When I am redirected back to the page where I can theoretically now download the installation, there are two downloads available: ReadmeSQL2005.htm and RequirementsSQL2005.htm - But not the actuall installation file. How Do I Upload To And Download From A Shared SQL Server 2005 Database?
My hosting gives me ASP.NET 2.0 and a shared SQL Server 2005 package. I have Visual Studio 2005 on my machine - which installs SQL Server 2005 Express. I have also installed SQL Server 2005 Management Studio Express. I wish to develop my database locally (mdf file) as I won't always have internet access (and therefore can't always work directly with the remote shared database). My question is, how do I upload my database info from my local machine to my remote shared database? Also I shall wish to download my remote database to my local machine in order to work on the database (and then be able to re-upload it) sometimes. Please can somebody tell me how I can do this? Will SQL Server 2005 Management Studio Express permit me to do this and if so how? If I need the full version of SQL Server 2005 Management Studio then I do have SQL Server 2005 and this install with it (but it all looks a bit complicated to install for me). Is The SQL Server 2005 Express Toolkit Download Corrupt?
I have now tried to download this several times and each time I get a "Extraction failed | File is corrupt" dialog midway through the extraction. Each time it is corrupt in the same place, UNTIL I re-download it, when it is corrupt in a different place! I've tried using the -x switch to extract to different disks. No difference there - so not a disk error. I could download and extract "SQLEXPR_ADV.EXE" fine. The forums seem to offer no hope here either.

Hi Dudes, I need a clean link for MSSQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition download except Microsoft site. I already downloaded from it, burned the downloaded image, but the problem is that sql.cab and some other cab files got corrupted and some components became unable to install. I tried and installed it without some components. So anybody can help me in getting a proper link. And one more thing, i downloaded from the microsoft site itself with file size around 890MB. Hello I am attempting install CRM Server 3.0 R2 using SQL Server 2005 SP2. On install of CRM Server 3.0 R2 I receive a SQL Server reporting services error: Setup failed to validate specified Reporting Services Report Server http://jupiter/reportserver. Error: The feature: "Customizing security roles" is not supported in this edition of Reporting Services. There is a hotfix available here: 935922 But how can I get the hotfix and why is this hotfix not simply available for download as per other bug fixes? Now stcuk with no way to move forward. Is It Possible To Download VS PPE?
This is a rather basic question as i've just started using the BI tools in SQL Server but have developed applications with SQL Server database engine before. I've upgraded from SQL Server express to SQL Server standard in my development environment but did not get the tools to upgrade... I therefore unstalled express and reinstalled but still didn't get BI Development Studio to install. Now when i try to install JUST BIDS, i'm told everything is installed and there nothing else to install... How can i install BI Development Studio? I remember downloading an install specific to it but can't find that now. My SQL Server standard CD is not installing it either... what can i do? Thanks!

RSClientPrint Download
I have an asp.net application which is launched from our B2B site. The primary purpose of the application is to allow our external clients access to reports, along with the ability to export and print. The RS2005 report viewer component was used within the application to render the reports. The problem is when the our client users click on the print button on the report viewer's tool bar, many of them are receiving a window asking them if they want to install "SQL Server". In reality, the ActiveX viewer, RSClientPrint, is what is trying to install. Our technical support staff is being flooded with calls due to this pop up. The users are very confused and concerned about installing "SQL Server." In addition, some users do not have the ability to install the ActiveX viewer, so they are not going to be able to print. We've experienced this in the past with ActiveX for Crystal. Finally, some users receive no message or feedback when they click on the print button for several minutes. We've determined the ActiveX is being installed during this time. We've had users wait as long as 7 minutes for the Print Dialog to come up. 1. We would like to place a message along with the link on the page where the report is rendered. Is there a way for us to provide a link to a self extracting file containing RSClientPrint? 2. Also is there any way to get around the issue where the client user does not have the ability to install the ActiveX? I've seen references on the forum to using SMS, but this is not possible since the users are external? 3. Is there any setting we can turn on so the users don't think the application has gone "out to lunch" while the ActiveX viewer is installed? Thanks

OLE DB Providers Download!!!!
Hi, I have Windows server 2003 SR2 and wich to install on it OLE DB Providers. I mainly have an application that needs OLE DB provider for Excel and Dbase to access read excel and dbase Files on disk. I have searched all over the web for a download link. I installed MDAC on the server and restarted bu still no luck. My ODBC applet in the control panel only shows the SQL native drivers. PS: Windows is 64 bit. I believe this might be why.
