The images that I've uploaded using this script don't have the period in image.jpg (it's coming out imagejpg) on the page that is outputted. Pause A Script For A Set Period Of Time
I'm trying to pause a script for a set period of time. I've tried checking the current time. starting a while loop. rechecking the time and if the spanned time is >5 seconds then end the loop. The problem is that rechecking the time in the loop retrieves the same time over and over. I'm using the time() function. For some reason I can't get a new time reading. Is there any reason for that? Is there just simply a way to pause for 5 seconds and restart?

Lets say I have an array full with 256 different numbers and want to find out if there is any period and if so, how long this period is. example: array (0,3,6, 7,1,3,6,2,5, 7,1,3,6,2,5, 7,1,3,6,2,5, 7,1,3,6,2,5 .....); notice the period 7,1,3,6,2,5 --> period length would be "6". What i want to do is to check that a product is still in the warranty period. Warrant period is 1 year. So i get the shipdate from the data base and enter the ruturned date. $SHIPDATE = ��-05-10' $RETURNDATE = ��-02-28' $INWAR = ($SHIPDATE - $RETURNDATE); ECHO "$INWAR"; What is returned is -1. I have script that allows a user to upload a txt file for processing, filtering, to save bandwidth,instead of user reuploading the file everytime he/she does a new process on the same file, i save the file to the server, and process from that file. A while back I had written a script for a client who had wanted to upload an excel file for his clients that contained their inventory information. I had it set so everytime he would upload the file it would check the information in the file against that already stored in the db. If a row in the db contained a certain field like an account number. It would make any changes that were made to that field or if none were made it would leave it be.
