IE Trying To Save The Php Page When Posting From Another Page
After installing Apache, and the newest PHP, I find that when i open a php page explorer reads it but if i press a submit button that posts to another page or performs any pho script internet explorer immediately says the file type was unrecognised e.g. stage_2.php was unrecognised would you like to save?
I'm unsure why this is happening, perhaps my php.ini file isnt set correctly?

Posting Back To The Same Page
I have a website that uses user authentication. The login does a post back to itself to check set usernames and passwords. <?php echo $_SERVER['PHP_SELF']?> sample url: .../admin/login/index.php This is working on a linux box where the end of the php code sends the page off to a ccc.php page for access checking. So after logging in on the index.php page, you eventually get returned to admin/ccc.php. I reused the same code on a windows box and the .../admin/login/index.php takes me to .../admin/login/index.php/admin/login/index.php does anyone have a clue as to what might cause this?

Posting Many Times To Page
I have a situation where I need to post alot of data to a legacy system we have and it takes a long time for the system to do the inserts. I was wondering if there is a way to post without waiting for the response, so I could do say 15 posts one right after another and it would open 15 connections but not wait for them or put them in the background. Preferably without forking if its possible.

Load / Save Page
Im looking for some information if its possible, maybe a link or two. Im wanting to show the user a page that lets them know that their data is saving or their data is loading, while php runs its functions. Then when the information is processed then redirect them. As it works now it just takes a few seconds where is looks like the page is frozen then redirects as it should. Im not even sure that this would be done in php, but i figured yall could shove me in the right direction.

Why Does My Page Save A Textarea Wrongly?
I have a PHP page (page 1) with a textarea on it, which is saved to a database. I also have a validation page (page 2) that has the same value as the textarea posted to it, which it needs to compare with the database value. Unfortunately, when I save the value using page 1, it doesn't match the value posted to page 2. The curious thing is that when I save the same value in the same field using phpMyAdmin, the match works perfectly. So, can anyone tell me what difference there could be in saving a textarea on a PHP page vs saving a textarea in phpMyAdmin? Save Multi Page Checkbox Array To Session
I have some pages being paginated by PHP. The pages contain form checkboxes. On the final page there is a "submit" button. I need each pages selected checkboxes displayed when submit button is pressed. How do I collect all the checkboxes values from each page? I was thinking of trying javascript "OnUnload" handler to file off some code which would copy the values in each pages checkbox array to a session. When the next pages appears, and the viewer selects more checkboxes, these new values would then be added to the existing array held in the session variable. Does an onUnload handler seem like a reasonable idea? I assume I would I need to 'array_push' the new values into the session array? Am I overlooking something?

i've made a submit comment form with php and mysql, the form has an action to itself with a hidden var like this: input type=hidden action=add When i delete a comment on the page i go to a page called delete.php3 and there is a link with a javaline which goes -1 back in my history.. Page Redirection - Allow The User To Click A Button That Sent Them To A New Page
I am writing a little section of a home made shopping basket. I collect information and put it in the basket / db. However, I want to update into a new database the final order as and when I click a button that directs the usuer to Pay Pal. Keeping Lots Of Values From Page To Page
I am doing an online questionnaire which is going to have 5 questions per page and upto 100 questions. If somebody hasn't completed the entire questionaire I do not want their data stored in the DB. Login Page Produces Blank Page
What I get when I enter username/password and hit submit is a blank page and the URL never changes. In other words, the login page is 'index.php' and when submitted it should redirect to 'admin.php'. Instead the url/address stays at 'index.php' and the page turns completely blank. In the previous thread, the problem turned out to be some missing indicator to the md5 encrypted password.
