Page Not Displayed!
I have a site in PHP with a page 'approveMembers.php' within 'approve' directory under the site directory. This site has been hosted on net. Now the problem is when i access this page from my machine that uses a proxy server to connect to the internet, the contents get displayed properly. However, when i use a machine that connects to the internet directly (without using a proxy), the contents do not appear in the page even though the status bar read 'Done' after loading the page. OS: Windows 2003 Server Program: EasyPHP1.8 Changed port to 81 in httpd.conf, rebooted and everything.... 127.0.0.1:80 still connects to the index page 127.0.0.1:81 doesnt connect (Page cannot be displayed) 192.168.1.181:80 & 192.168.1.181:81 doesnt connect either (192.168.1.181 is the computers IP) Is there any configuration I have to do with Windows Server 2003? I have installed j2sdk1.4.2_14 to work with my php-4.3.9-3.15. And i have follow all the step from head to tail. Now, i suppose to just create a simple php coding on java function. When i exec the page...it did not show any error but just 'The page cannot be displayed'. CHMOD 777 - Page Cannot Be Displayed. Why?

Page Blank But No Errors Displayed

Flip Flop The Displayed Page
I want to test different content on a landing page to see which my visitors like the most. Version A is to be shown 50% of the time, Version B to be shown 50% of the time. So, visitor #1 gets shown Version A, visitor #2 is shown Version B, visitor #3 shown Version A and so on. i am including the ability for users to attach images to their posts. Now they can attach more than one image. First time round. the image gets uploaded and everything works fine. second time round though. i get a 'page cannot be displayed' error. The address in the address bar is correct. i just cant see why its working first time and not second. Anyone experienced this before or myt know why its happening?

How To Control The Number Of Page Links Displayed With Pagination?
Does anybody know how to control the number of page links displayed with pagination? I mean like, with the tutorial on this site, if I had, say 50 pages of results, it actually creates individual links for page 1-50. Session :: Problems With This Web Page Might Prevent It From Being Displayed Properly
when i add php session <? session_start(); header("Cache-control: private"); // IE 6 Fix. ?> I just get this error "Problems with this web page might prevent it from being displayed properly bla bla". Of course am adding those lines just the first thing in each page b4 anything else. so am getting that error in pages that have template applied to it. and when i delete the session lines it just back to normal. I notice a strange behavior in PHP4 and wonder if anyone can explain it. Essentially, when I extend a class from a built-in module, I can add and access variables but can not access new functions I create within the extended class. This has only happened attempting to extend classes from ming, but I suspect it may be a universal problem (?). (Off Topic) Cyberwar Question
One of my internet providers has blocked my broadband adsl internet connection for over a 2 months now. They still steal money from my bank account and they still hold the adsl line hostage, so I can switch over to another ADSL internet provider. I could switch over to a (tv) cable internet provider, however these are more expensive and only few providers available because of mergers. I am not happy about all this: 1. Blocked internet access. 2. Vastly reduced internet provider choice. 3. They stealing money and providing no service for it in return. 4. They received false complaints, they were too lazy to do proper research, and now they accuse me of things I did not do, and even if I did do it, it's not serious enough to disconnect anybody for 2 months. What are they, internet police ? I don't think so ?! The question is what to do about it ? I can see 4 options: 1. Switch to a more expensive (tv) cable internet provider. 2. Sue the ADSL internet provider. 3. Start a cyberwar against the ADSL internet provider. It's the Italian Internet Provider (Tiscali). However I live in the Netherlands where they are also present ! 4. Stick with the current dial-up internet provider. Here is what I have to say about the options: 1. I don't really want to switch to a more expensive (tv) cable internet provider, since it's more expensive, and they also have the same kind of contracts, so they may also disconnect me for no reason at all ! Most internet providers have some lines in their contracts which say: "We have the right to disconnect you at any time !". Ridicilous I say ! That's dangerous ! People might have internet telephone, and then they can't call the help services in case of fire or injury or other dangerous situations ! Furthermore internet is becoming more and more important, just disconnecting people for no reason or bullshit reasons should not be allowed anymore ! Internet has become to important to just let some internet provider mess it all up ! 2. The law in the Netherlands even states that disconnecting equipment from open communication networks without valid reason is a crime. However the goverment does little against it. It's a new law. Furthermore, most lawyers and judges know little about internet and it's technology, the same can be said for the police, they know little about it all, they are mostly busy catching street criminals and such. Going to the police at least in my neighbourhood is useless. Same can be said for the lawyers. However I am still waiting for the lawyers response... they still have to make up their minds. Gje. It's only been 2 months... Gje. 3. So that brings me to option three. Cyberwar ! We could start a cyberwar against such ISP's like Tiscali and block their networks from our webservers, websites and homepages. They don't provide me, and us, with services then we don't provide anymore of our services to them ! So their networks will become less valuable ! At some point if enough people take part in the cyberwar, their users will switch, because they can no longer access any websites. It's mean, it's not nice, but the ISP is doing it already ! Should we do they same back at them ? That's my question really: Who is willing to start or support a Cyberwar against these kinds of Evil ISP's ? and maybe you have some ideas about such a war yourself ? we can discuss those. I can be short about option four, it's working, but it ain't great. Me not too happy about it. I was lucky I still have an old computer, with an old 33k6 modem which is still supported by Windows 98. I can forget about windows xp, it doesn't support it, as well as other older phone/fax/data modems <- no driver support. I might buy a new 56k6 modem, but then I would have to replace one my graphics cards in my new computer, and that kinda sucks as well... and the improvement won't be that much and dial-up is kinda expensive... need to pay per minute... but it's not too expensive for now. The problem is... downloading larger stuff becomes a problem... so that's not good. I am not happy about that.

PHP Pages Getting 404 Error, "Page Cannot Be Displayed"...
I tried putting this into the PHP Installation forum but don't get any answers or suggestions there so I'm going to try it here and hope it doesn't get moved. I'm on a Windows 2003/PHP 5.22 setup. I'm TRYING to upgrade from PHP 5.02 which did work on my server and quite well. I followed the upgrading and installation instructions layed out on the PHP.net set -- I still can't get it to work. The install dumped all the PHP related files under "c:program filesphp". I've ensured that path is in my windows PATH statement for my env vars. I've also verified that "c:program filesphpphp-cgi.exe" is in my Web Service Extensions listing in IIS and the status is set to "Allowed". From the command-line, I can execute my "test.php" file that has the phpinfo(); info function in it and it works fine. It's only when I try to use my web browser to access the php file that I get the 404 error, "page cannot be displayed". I know that IIS in general is working ok because I can point it to the default http://servername/iisstart.htm and it resolves to that page just fine. It's only when I change it to http://servername/test.php (which has my phpinfo()) function in it when I get the 404 error. My web server just doesn't seem to be interpretting PHP files anymore and I can't figure out why.

No PHP Error. Just "Page Cannot Be Displayed"
I was wondering if someone could explain why I'm receiving this error. It's like a 404 error but I think it might be something else. Basically, I have a page where a user inputs his email address. The system is supposed to look up the email address and send the associated password to that email address. It worked up until a few months ago. Note that the validation works. So, if the user tries to submit a blank text box, it returns an error. If the email address is not found, it returns an error "Email not found." But if the email is valid, it just dies. This code worked a few months ago when I initially wrote it....

Query Strings - Edit The Topic And Submit The Form?
I am creating some custom php forums right now, and I need some help with query strings. In the forums, when someone edit his own post, I set the following query string: "address.com/topic.php?t=123&control=edit" Which opens a text area so that the user can edit his topic. Now when the user edit the topic and submit the form, the address stays: "address.com/topic.php?t=123&control=edit" But I want it to change back to: "address.com/topic.php?t=123" without the 'control=edit' part.

I want to find out how to be able to reply to e-mail when lets say someone fills out a form, I recieve the e-mail then I want to reply to the e-mail. Zero Sized Reply On Usinge Imagecreatefromjpeg

Reply-to Works With Some But Not Mail Clients
As I am just beginning to learn php I had to fish a free form script from the web. The script works fine, it processes the data filled in, including the sender's email address and sends an email to me with the data. When I hit the reply-button in my default email client (TheBat!), all is well and a new email with the sender's address in the to: - field is generated. But when that same email is opened in Outlook Express, and I hit the reply-to button, the to: field only shows the name of the sender, not the full email address (it does appear in the body of the message though). What do I have to change so that someone using OE can just hirt the reply button to respond to an email generated by the form? I hope the following is the relevant code:

Mail Headers And Auto-reply
I'm working on a corporate email routing script that takes input from a customer service form, and sends the message to customerservice@domain.com... During the script, there are certain triggers that will notify other company users of the message send using a BCC header to send it along to those users higher up in the company. (regional managers, and corporate officers)... Now, here's the situation that I haven't ran across yet, and need to make sure never comes up... I think it may be solved via the Reply-To or Return-Path headers, but I'm just not sure, and can't find exactly what I'm looking for online. Customer 1 sends an email that gets sent to customerservice@domain.com via To header and sent to regional_manager@domain.com, and corp_officer@domain.com via BCC header. What happens to the out of office auto-reply if the regional manager or corporate officer have those set and are on vacation? I DO NOT want these replies to return to customer1 revealing the email addresses of the higher-ups.

I have a mailing list set up and what I want is that if a mail goes out from the browser admin to all members and someone replies, the reply is sent to the same file that sends out the original mail, ie everyone on the list that is built from the file receives the reply. Reply-To Address - Bouncing Emails
I have a system set up where the client can send out newsletters to all his clients. He's got a list of known emails but he isn't sure which of those are active emails. I've got in the $headers variable in the coding, a "Reply-To" bit with my email address in (for testing purposes). I've set up a client that I know has a bouncing email address and sent a newsletter to that address but nothing comes back to me. How can I set this up? The whole idea is for the client to send his newsletter out to everyone and see which ones bounce back.

Mail() - Reply-To A Mobile Number?
I've written a script that will successfully send SMS text messages to a mobile phone, however, I want to set the Reply-To address as a mobile number. This way, the recipient can reply directly to the sender's phone. However, whenever I set the reply address as the mobile number, the text always comes in with the reply to as the number with '@myserver.com' tacked on the end. Is there anyway I can fix this?

Capturing An Email Reply Via A Script
It sends them e-mail on Monday, and concatenates the e-mails together in a document that everyone can read. And it then sends that out to everyone and shames those who did not answer by putting them on the top of the list. It has run reliably every week since we started, so for every week of our company's history we have a record of what everyone did. Basically I want to write a script just like that. Question: what's the best way to capture the email replies so I can process them? Create a script that acts as a POP or IMAP client? Via the filesystem somehow (I'm using qmail)? Is there a another way?

Update And/or Post To Web Page
I need to create a form that will: 1.) Open with the current data already in the form fields. 2.) Allow you to update the database from same form. 3.) Allow you to submit to post on a web page that users can see, (but not without being updated FIRST). The structure of the database is simple. The most complicated part of it, is that it queries to get a "Percent Change" and "Price Change" and gives a choice (checkbox) of what lists it posts in.
