Radio Button Auto Fill
I need to use JavaScript or use php or what to make this work. I have a Radio button group & 2 text input boxes below the radio buttons. I have information that needs to be placed in the text boxes stored in MySQL db. In my DB I have TEAM 1's name & then TEAM 2's name already stored. The 2 radio buttons lets you choose either TEAM 1 or TEAM 2. I need the user to be able to click TEAM 2 & the 2 text boxes fill with TEAM 2's Name & if he chooses TEAM 1 then it fill with TEAM 2's name.

Auto Fill Form Inputs
I have the drop down menu that list the person's name from the MySQL query. Next to the drop down menu I have 3 text boxes...user's name, user's sex, user's age. I want 3 text boxes to display the information that is already in the Database when I choose the user I want to see. I have the DB table that houses users information already with the information already entered. Once I click user 2 I want that user 2's name, sex, & age to be displayed in those 3 text boxes that I already have. Then if I choose user 10 I want user 10's information to populate in those 3 text boxes.

Passing Var For Radio Button
I passed as variable (temp) from one php page to a php preview page - radio buttons "hot" and "cold". Now, I want to pass it back to the first page so the radio button can be checked when someone wants to go back to change it. The plan is to check if it's page 2 value is "hot" or "cold". If hot, echo an input line in the form going back to the first page. If cold do the same but with a diff name. Then on the first page check if "hotchecked" is true. If true then php puts "checked" in the input of the radio button form making it checked as before the preview. If "coldchecked" the same would happen making cold button checked. What I wish to do is have a radio button pre-selected depending on what is pulled from the database. For example if I had 2 radio buttons: o Yes o No One has the value 1 and the other has the value 0 If 1 is selected from the database then Yes is pre-selected, else 0 is pre-selected. Check Radio Button Value
This is my current situation: I retrieve data from a database through XML files. The first xml file parses a couple of delivery addresses. The user has to select one of these adresses to continue. Depending on that particular address an order can be made on another page. My question is: How can I get the selected address. With other words. How can I get the address that belongs to the selected radio button? Ofcourse each delivery address has an unique ID, but I don't show this to the user. Should I perhaps first save all the address information in an array? And later in the order page loop through this array to check for the selected radio button? How do I do this exactly? Say you have a form with 3 options as follows: 1. Apples () 2. Oranges () 3. Pears () and you want the user to check one of the three options. For example, if apples is checked off, and then they check oranges, apples unchecks automatically and oranges appears checked off. In HTML this is a Radio button list... Radio Button Selection
I need to build a little page that quieries a Sybase Dabase, displays all the entries for the user, then allows the user to choose to either approve or deny each entry. Then click the button on the bottom. That'll trip a flag in the DB to say if each record is approved or denied. I'm using a while ($row = sybase_fetch_array($result)) in order to get all the entries and display them nicely in an HTML table for the user. Next to each entry I've put a radio button, one option to approve one option to deny. Then at the bottom there is a button to submit the information. However when I submit, only the very last radio button value is passing. How can I do this so it works? Any examples out there I could follow? Of course I will not know how many entries are in the database at any given time, so it has to be a dynamic sort of display.

Checking For A Set Radio Button
I have 2 radio buttons defined with the same name. Let's call the name: customer. I don't want a default because of user errors occurring so I need to make sure the user does set one of these buttons. I tried the 'isset' and received a parsing error. I also tried the 'defined' but it returned true even when it wasn't set. How can I check to see if they set it because I do receive an error while processing the remainder of the script. Radio Button/Checkbox Value Passing
I have a simple 3 page registration form. One form, one "data validation" script and one "insert into database" script. The customer bounces back and forth from the form to the verification script until the data is all correct. (When I say bounces, I mean logically. All the customer ever sees is the registration form, plus or minus error messages.) The problem I am having, is that if verification fails, the customer is redirected to the form. I am able to pass the input values from the "data validation" script back to the registration form using this method: <input id="Name" name="Name" type="text" value="<?php echo $Name ?>> It works well, but I don't know how to pass the variable of a radio button or check box back. I remember in javascript and other similar languages you could do something like: checkbox.value=checked Is there a way to do this in PHP? What I am attempting to do, is make is so that if the customer chooses YES on a radio button and the form is submitted,; ifthey are sent back to the form to correct an error, the radio button YES is still checked. I am not just trying to pass the variable, but to also make it select the right option when it goes back. (Or is this just more of an HTML question, at which point I will ask elsewhere)

I use a quick if check to see if the array value matches the post value so the radio button can be turned on or not. Default Selection Radio Button
I have a table where users input a date, time, and quantity for a reservation. On my page ... because I have a junk calendar and coding, every time you click a different month on the calendar or click the "book now" button without entering all the necessary data, the page refreshes and erases all the data. One significant problem is that the times display as radio buttons. Some tours have one time and some have multiple times. On the page, if there is only one time, then to make it easier for users to book tours, I inputted CHECKED into the html code. Radio Button Echo Selection
I am trying to set up a website for myself and friends to use for an NFL pool However, i want to create a selection page where the user may select which teams he/she believes will win and not only put this info into an email to myself(which i've already been able to do), but to also echo their selections back to them after they click the submit button. Passing Radio Button Form Data
I am running php as a sapi module on winXP with Apache. I am passing the data from a radio button from one page to another to be processed. For some reason it seems to be passing no data - for example in the 1st page I would have 3 radio buttons in a loop: <input type='radio' name='radio' value="<?php echo $val ?>"> I would then attempt to read the data in page 2 : <?php echo $radio ?> but this comes up empty. I tried using "get" in my form, and although the name/value pair appears in the URL string, it does not pass itself to the $radio variable in the next page. What the??? Does anyone know of any reason why php would NOT allow a radio button (or any other form object) it's data to pass on. I am not using sessions.

Radio Button - Reading Pre Selected Values From Db
I am able to make a selection of information when entering a record, with radio buttons giving the option of yes, or no. Which stores their answer as yes, or no in the database. I then have an update record page that reads information in the database, and presently it will not retrieve the previously selected option from the database. I have tried all sorts of if else statements, and can't get anything to work. I want the previously selected option to be selected when they are entering the update page.
