Hi All,I have datestamps of the format 11202006 (November 20th 2006) in the DB. All these datestamps are of the future. With reference to the datestamp, I need to query the database for all entries that are 90, 60, 29, 28, 27, 26, ... 02, 01 days away from NOW. So, if there are entries with datestamps 90 days from NOW, they will need to be displayed.The query will be run everyday through a CRON script. How do I create the queries? Dispaly A Future Date By Order
I'm currently working on a events script which allows a user to enter in details about concerts into a database. All the concerts are to be sorted by the date they take place. A concert taking place on the date 20th of June will appear ahead of a concert taking place on the 27th of June. I'm trying to figure out what is the best way to do this... The user is going to have to enter in the future date of the event. How? Should i use drop down boxes for the day (number between 1 and 31) and for the month (jan, feb...) and do a query on them. Or would a calander system be a better choice which can input the date as a 'date' into the db, this would be a lot easier to query but no doubt would be more complex than the previous option.

Start Date - End Date = Number Of Days
I have a starting date for var 1 and today’s date for var 2. I need to calculate how many days are between those two dates. 02/24/03(today) - 01/14/2002(start date) = number of days. In theory this is easy but there are many instances were I could get an inaccurate answer. For example one consideration is that some months have 30 days others have 31. exc. My question is, is there an easier way to solve this problem other than using endless if statments to error handle all possible instances? Does PHP4 have any built in functions that could calculate this formula correctly?

Counting Days From $date To Current Date
how to count the time between two variable dates? Such as someone inputting 6/8/1991 in a form and it comparing that to todays date... then getting the number of seconds elapsed... I know I have to use the mktime() function to get the seconds.. but not quite sure how.

Been assigned a project to list entries that have been entered within the last 45 days. My database has the date column with the date format as YYYYMMDD (ex: 20070423) Been trying to write code for an SQL query to list entries that are less than 45 days from the date that is in the column I have used the dateadd() function but does the date have to be in the format as MMDDYYYY (ex: 04232007) in order for the dateadd() function to work properly.

I have a php script that processes a form and enters data into a mySQL database. Two of the fields that are entered are dates. I have been looking through this forum and discovered that the way most people add X number of days to today's date is using this code: echo mktime(0, 0, 0, date("n"), date("j") + 10, date("Y")); When I do this, I get an output similar to this - 1156114800 I am not sure what I can do with this, I am trying to compare it to a date pre-entered into mysql. View Results Where Date Less Than 14 Days Old
Currently when i add reports i input the date in format DD/MM/YYYY. I then have two different view reports pages. One i want to show reports for the present day, and one for all reports in the past 14 days. I was hoping someone can help me with a date calculation. I'm trying to calculate the number of days between a given date and the end of the month. I have a form with three drop down boxes: month, day and year. A user will submit a date using these drop down boxes. Based on their submission, I need to determine the number of days to the end of the month from the date which was submitted. For example, if the person submits March 15, 2007 and the last day of the month of March is March 31, 2007. The number of days between the 15th and the last day of the month is 17. How do I begin programming this calculation? Since the last day of the month differs from month to month (28th, 30th or 31st) I cannot figure out how to determine the last day of a given month.

Sort Results By Date/time, Limit 5 Database Entries Of Today &/or Upcoming Days
I'm designing a website for my fraternity and in the database I have entries which contain past events, todays events, and upcoming events. My problem is that I can not figure out how to sort the query results to display: 1) only past events based on the CURRENT DATE 2) only the events which fall on the CURRENT DATE or after, limiting the results to 5 entries 3) all events that fall on CURRENT DATE or afterwards Example: Today is September 15, 2007 Problem 1) Displaying all events that happened before September 15, 2007 Problem 2) Displaying only 5 results that fall on September 15, 2007 or after Problem 3) Displaying all events that are happening on or after September 15, 2007 And obviously I would like the CURRENT DATE to change depending on what date it is, currently. SOAP: Procedure 'foo' Not Present
I'm trying to find out what is causing this error: <faultstring>Procedure 'foo' not present</faultstring> I've got a class 'bar' with a public function 'foo'. I create a SOAPServer with a wsdl, call setClass with a single parameter, the string 'bar', then call the SOAPServer's handle() function. However, the result from a client is always the above message (wrapped in a SOAPFault). If I try to access a function that is not present in the wsdl or class bar, say foo2, I receive the message "Unrecognized method 'foo2'. List of available method(s): foo." If I loop through the output of the SOAPServer's getFunctions() function, it does indeed say that function foo is available. So, the question is, what is causing the "Procedure 'foo' is not present" message?

Upload And Present As HTML Page?
I'd like to have a form where users can upload a photo, add a short bio, put in some contact info, and have all of this information stored in a database (natch). Then I'd like for this form to take this user's data and put it into an html presentation template. How Do I Present A Form For Users To Be Able To Upload One Or More Pictures
I would like for users to be able to upload files to my site. However, considering the size of image files nowadays from digital cameras, these files would all have to be resized so that they aren't too big (maybe 200kb or so). So my question is how do I present a form for users to be able to upload one (or more) pictures to the website, and then resize all of these pictures. I don't know even how to give permission for files to be added to the server by people other than myself... Thanks for any answers, or at least for pointing me in the right direction.
