I'am wondering tha is benifit off creating loggin class instead of function? is there eny? and my next thought is about calendet. I ll have 3 calenders (for 3 diff month) on page with ll show week, day, and they ll by clickble. is there any benefits to writte class instead of funktion? I mean if I writte class so I have to create 3 object with ll take more place in server memory. but if I have one funktion wich I call 3 times it ll by faster( ).

PHP / HTML Calender
im looking to make an events calender in PHP/HTML. The calender would be simple with a link on each date, once you click on the link it would post the date value to a detailed info page using the GET method, i would then use the date value to search mysql and display that days events on a seperate page. Now i have been looking around the net and came across a few javascript generated calenders, but i cant seem to find a solution that will allow me to control the calender content using PHP. Has anyone ever tried this?

Creating A Calender
I would like to create an online calendar for a friend. It needs to be able to add notes on each day and if possible highlight the boxes. That's all. I promise, I have checked all the posts on this site. I have gone through Google. I have done everything I can. I'm looking for a link to a tutorial, a script that needs little customization or some sort of magical dwarf that could come and do it for me. I really have no clue on anything practical in PHP yet, and what's more I have a horrible feeling that this task could include mySQL and database-y things.... You people have been so helpful before, any chance you could be again??

Specific Calender
I'm a designer by trade so PHP can sometimes be a little out of my comfort zone, but thats always a good place to be, right? I have a specific and I should imagine very easy thing i need to set up. I'm making a website for a band who play a lot of live shows. I wonder if anyone has the best solution to make a list of their shows that automatically deletes a show once it's date has passed. You know the way, say, the Myspace live list works. I don't need any fancy calender graphics or anything like that. Just a self-updating list.

Does anyone have any recommendations or tips on where I can go to find a good scheduling script or a tutorial to make one? I'd perfer to make my own for security reasons so I know the code and for later addons. Online Booking Calender
I wanted to put a calender on my website to allow people to see up coming clasess we have and allow them to booking/pay for them also. I would add them in the back end and how many spots are availble and when someone clicks on to pay for the class and checks out all the way it would subtract it from the total amount. I would also like it to show on the date when all spots are gone Sold out and when only one is left only 1 spot left. I would like to see if there is a script out already that does this now. Displaying Files In A Folder Using A Calender
I have excel sheets generated daily and weekly in this format for filenames..for daily sheets the filename is Jan-10-2002 (mmm-dd-yyyy) and weekly Week-39-2002. I have a script that uploads to a constant folder all the excel sheets. Is there a script that can display the daily scripts in form of a calender. I.E a user can choose to view or download the sheet by choosing the date? Also another for displaying weekly excel sheets in a weekly format.

Login Problem - Can't Login(login Is Done In Index.php)
This is origially PMsys, I have edited it, and here is what I have done with the original replace all $_COOKIE into $_SESSION changed all setcookie() into session_start() and defined those $_SESSION now the problem is I can't login(login is done in index.php), does anyone here got an idea why? I uploaded the whole pakage, but I think you only need to look at index.php and include/global.php.

PHP "Calender Like" Pop Up To Select Date And Store As Variable In Mysql Format?
I use to have this feature on my site about two years ago when i hired someone. It would allow the user to select between two different dates, via a small calender, save it as a variable then query the database. Does anyone know where I can find the script for the small calender? I think it must of been populated by an external clock since all the dates were accurate etc. July 21st was on a saturday.

Login Lgout And Login Without Closing Session Gives Redirection Error
I am stepping through a text book that sets up different websites. The one I am testing is user registration. I set up the scripts and this is what I observe: Login (verifying against a mysql db) - no problem. Logout - no problem. Close the browser and try again - no problem. Login > Logout > Login WITHOUT closing browser I get: An error occurred while loading http://login.php when it should redirect me to http://localhost/index.php. I read somewhere on the news group that the header("Location: http://" . $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'] . dirname ($_SERVER['PHP_SELF']) . "/index.php") (in my example code) is called once and so the error? The logout.php destroys the $_SESSION variables, session itself and any cookies so I thought it would be "like new" the second time around? It appears to be linked to sessions but don't know enough to know how to correct.

Login Script Doesn't Display If The Login Is Correct Or Incorrect.
Below is the script I am using for my login page. It doesn't display if the login is correct or incorrect. All it does is clear the username and password box when I hit submit. I want it to display an error message if the login is incorrect and if it is correct redirect them to their own web page. Create A Separate Page With One Login That Let's Me Login To All Of The Sripts At Once?
I'm building a website using various php scripts from I found on hotscripts. Because I'm not much of a programmer myself I'm using a separate script for the blog, another one for the links section and a different one for the gallery and so on. The downside to this is that I have to login on a separate page to update the gallery and another page to update the blog and so on. Is there a simple way to either remove the need for a login for all the scripts and just create a separate page with one login that let's me login to all of the sripts at once? Or if there's a script that can kinda save the passwords and logs in for me?

Authenticate The User With The Login.html, Login.php.
I am setting up a registration/login for my website with PHP and MYSQL. I have a register.html, register.php & a login.html, login.php. I can successfully register a user (using register.html, register.php) into my database. Now, I am trying to authenticate the user with the login.html, login.php. Hiding Login & Password Fields After Login
I am hoping to do the following, the homepage shows a username and password field. Once the user enters a scucessfull login, these fields are removed. In order to achieve this, must the page be based on one big IF ELSE statement? so... If user logged in hide username & password fields Else show page with username and password fields? OR is this acheived by redirecting the user to a page that is not the homepage after a successfull login? so... the user would login sucessfully and be redirected to a homepage identical to the one with the fields but will have the username & password fields removed?

Login Page Not Redirecting After Login
I've used this same snippet of code in other login forms without a problem (with some slight modifications from script to script) but this one seems to baffle me. Basically it takes the login and validates the entries (validation works, error messages display if left blank), then checks the database for a match. If there's a match then it is supposed to forward the person onto the proper page using the 'header' function. Problem is it's not. I want to let users log in, get their username and password verfied against my mysql-db, and each user are associated with one of five accessgroups, named by "A", "B" ... "E".
