How To Remove Orange Cast
I have some photos that have an orange cast that I would like to remove. May also need to lighten them a little, unless removing the orange does that. Are there any tutorials that would tell how to do this? Or if it is easy enough, give some guidance here?

Eliminating Orange Color Cast
I have this image with an intense orange background. I want to change the color of the background to a light green, or even white (depending on my boss' mood). But the background color leaves me with an undesirable orange color-cast on the old man. this is only a very rough clipping, the final version will be well refined. way to eliminate this color-cast, most noticable on his hair. How would you go about it?

Orange Temp V2
i started a v2 of my portfolio site. At the bottom of the page there is javascript to chnage the back gound 4 different colors which all look well with the page. Just a opinion on how it looks so far. I just ordered a new digital camera so once i get that i will have a few photographs with a hue of a darker orange to the left of the text that will be in the content box. As of now it lays blank.

Color Cast?
I use a Canon 20D sometimes for group photos. I shoot RAW, convert into 16-bit .psd files, and generally am happy with the color I get. I have noticed on many occasions that if I look at faces at 100% zoom in photoshop, and if the faces are relatively small compared to the frame (as they would be in a group of a dozen or more people), I don't like the quality of the whites in eyes or teeth. It's as though a pinkish, brownish cast seeps into these areas from the skin around them. Often, the exposure for all the faces is not completely even--some people may get a bit less light than others, and I notice the problem there the most.

Print Have Yellow Cast
I seem to have done something to my version of Photoshop 6 (on XP). When I print directly from Photoshop, all prints have a strong yellow cast. If I print the same file from another program (such as Illustrator, etc.), it prints fine (so it's not a monitor calibration issue). Color mode is RGB, all the color settings are normal (Adobe RGB 1998). I recently replaced my HP printer with a Canon MP810, and I still have the same problem with the new printer! I've seen this question posted several times on the Web over the years (for Photoshop 6 or 7), but never an answer.

Every Picture Has A Beige Cast
Every picture I open up in Photoshop on my home computer has a beige cast over all of the colors. If I desaturate, the photo looks like it has a very light sepia tone. This occurs whether or not I have color managment on. The same photo looks fine in Photoshop on other computers. This effect has survived on my home computer even though I have uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop. I have other Adobe products on my home computer (Illustrator, InDesign), but Photoshop is the only application that behaves like this. It's almost as if I need to re-set the white-gray-black scale to true values, but I don't know of any setting like that.

Fixing A Color Cast
I have some photos I took at a car show. Unfortunately, the event was held in a garage under horrible lighting. It gave everything a yellow-orange cast. What is the best way to remove or shift the color cast to more natural light. I tried Channel Mixer to some good effect. I have attached a sample image. I realize it may be hard to recover anything, but I'm just interesting in the technique. Note in the image, there is almost no blue. The Channel mixer allows "converting" some of the other light into blue. I'm I on the right track?

Strange Yellow Color Cast After CS4...
PS CS4. Everything seemed to go fine, but now all of a sudden his images are displayed with a strong yellow tint. I don't mean a slight color cast, I mean a STRONG yellow tint. The images appear the same in Photoshop, the Bridge, and even ACR. I re-calibrated the monitor (Gretag McBeth) and generated a new profile just be sure, but that wasn't it. The same images viewed in other applications (Picassa, opened in a browser, etc.) on the same computer display normally. This appears to be only Photoshop related. What's also interesting is that CS3 now exhibits the same problem after the CS4 install. I reviewed all the color settings and workflow, and nothing is out of the ordinary. The Nikon raw images were imported via ACR, and opened in Photoshop with ACR workflow options set for 16 bit/Adobe RGB. Photoshop working space is Adobe RGB. I also installed the 11.0.1 update. But here are what may be a couple of clues. First, it's not just the image files that look bad. The colors are awful in the color picker in the toolbox. The entire color picker slider is almost all yellow and orange. And here's another good one. We tried importing some new raw images via the photo downloader in Bridge. With the downloader in Advanced mode, the image previews before download show the same yellow cast. But after I click the Get Photos button, the image colors appear correct as they flash on for a couple of seconds while being downloaded. This has got to be a big clue for someone. What's different about how the image is displayed during that two second preview during the actual download? The PC hardware is a 3.2Ghz Pentium 4 Dell tower (2G ram) running XP Pro w/SP3, with a nVidia GeForce 7800 graphics card, and the screen resolution is 1024x768. I'm thinking maybe a graphics card issue or corrupted system profiles, but I'm a Mac and he's a PC so my PC troubleshooting skills are limited.

Colour Cast In Black And White Prints
I printed a black and white scanned (gray scale) image on Saturday, no problems. On Sunday I noticed a small hairline from the negative, cloned it out and reprinted. The image had acquired a distinct purple cast. All attempts ticking a variety of appropriate (and possibly inappropriate) boxes in PS and the printer options failed to remove the cast. Rescanning and the cast is still there. Printing on another printer (HP) and the cast is there, so I presume it's source is Photoshop (CS).

Severe Magenta Color Cast / Color Substitution
I took some photos with a point and shoot digital camera, and they came out with a strange, magenta color in place of the sky and highlights. I have tried correcting this using the levels tool in photoshop, but this has not removed the magenta color, only lightened it. When I use auto correct tools, the same thing happens.

Bridge CS3 - How To Remove?
Am trying to clear up space on my laptop and in doing so searched for a way to remove Bridge as this is one application that I don't use at all on that machine. However, Bridge doesn't appear at all in the Add/Remove programmes list (Windows XP2 Pro) which has thrown me somewhat. I then attempted to remove CS3 hoping that Bridge would appear in an options list which of course it doesn't :-( so had to back track from there as well. Has anyone got any suggestions please?

Can anyone show me how to remove EVERYTHING in a picture except for 1 layer which happens to be rasterized text. I want the picture to have no backround whatsoever, only this layer showing. I have no clue how to remove the backround area since deleting the backround layer doesn't do anything.

Remove Sun Glare
I have a photo that was taken outside. It has some glare from the sun. Is there any way to remove the lines. It is the only photo that we took standing like that outside, and my roommate and his newlywed wife probably would like this picture. Remove Background
i'm trying to build a web site and the logo i want to use has a white background. I want to place it on my menu, but can't align the graphic from the menu prorperly... I was wondering it there was anyway i would be able to remove the background? I made the picture into a circle, this is what makes it really difficult for me? I know photohsop makes transparent background, but would it do the same on a icture that already exist? And is there a way of cropping into circles?

I Want To Remove Photoshop Cs3...
I downoaded the trial version and I want to remove it completely, but I'm having trouble uninstalling it. I'm using windows XP. Problems:I can't uninstall it. I possibly deleted one or more of it's components.Ran windows installer cleanup Utility and it didn't work.Wondering if I should just start deleting the photoshop files manually from the c drive. I've tried the obvious routes:Start,Control Panel,Add or Remove Programs,Change/remove. When I click the Change/Remove option, the hour glass loader appears for a few seconds, then the screen flickers for a momonet then nothing happens. I've tried restoring my computer to an earlier time, but that didn't work. I've tried looking for other support forums on this adobe website, but I only find solutions for uninstalling from trail to purchased modes...not uninstalling completely. I've tried calling adobe support and after an 1hr 1/2 of questions, taking down my personal information, and listening to elevator music, they finally tell me that there will be a 39 dollar charge to uninstall the software from my computer. Can anyone explain to me how to resolve this issue?

Remove A Colour
I used to work on a project for a stamp album and i think we had needed photos one day a man came in with images i think he'd taken, he had the images removed from the background pretty much seemlessly i or someone else asked him how he did it and he told me he had used some sort of software which removes a specific colour from an image so, he would pick the colour from the photo and go ovet the photo with the eraser tool and it would remove it. I don't think the software was fluid mask, fluid mask it seems works mostly on masking, the program if it now exists i may be wrong solely, dealt with picking a colour and erasing it. what is this program that picks a colour or colours and erases only those specific colours.

How To Remove Shadows?
I'm editing some photographs in Photoshop and because of the sunlight, all my subjects have a dark shadow covering part of their neck/throat areas and shirt collars. I used the both the healing brush and patch tools to fix up the shirt areas and they look fine. However, whenever I tried using these tools using non-shadow areas of their neck as sampled areas, the results always look bad. Their necks, even though shadows are removed, look like plastic or plaster rather than real human skin. How would I remove these shadows from their necks without causing an unrealistic looking skin?

P'shop CS2 I ticked history log in my preferences. I've retained the data I needed in a txt file. I've removed the history log in preferences. Now I want to reduce the HUGE size of my tif file by removed the history log details, so that it is just an image file without all the data attached. I tried under save as, but couldn't see any options to save without history log details. Is there a way to remove the history log details from the tif file?

How Do You Remove The Backround

Remove Entire Background
I have a flat EPS file which has a white background and paragraphs of text on it. I would like to simply make the image transparent. I know I can use the Magic Wand Tool to remove the white background but this still leaves me with the white bits in letters such as O, A, P etc etc. How can I remove one entire colour from an image?

How Do I Remove The Background Around An Object..
I can't remove the background from a logo I have created. I am using Photoshop Elements. I bought a book and I searched the help index's and I could not find how to do this. I'm somewhat new to Photoshop but not a very beginner. I created the logo on a transparent background, but when I save it there is always a square border around the logo, usually white. I just want a .jpg of the logo itself.
