Small Photo, Large Resolution?
I have a photo that I copied from an Power Point Presentation which looked great on Power Point but when I have it in PS I noticed that the image size is just 2.507x1.028 with a res. of 576. Pixel Dimensions are 2.45M
I would like to print out a larger version of this photo but I'm not having much luck with it. It gets blurry when I try to enlarge it.
It was on Power Point as PNG graphic and I saved it to the desktop as a Gif andthen dragged it into PS.
Don't know much about Power Point maybe there is a better way to transfer pics from it.

Large Prints On A Small Printer
I need to print large photos on a small printer and then mount them together on a large board, but no matter how I do it I seem to get either overlap of gaps between the printed photos. I found a good way to mount the photos so the edges of the paper are not too visible (from a distance), but I can still see gaps and overlays. The Photo image has a width of 24 in by 33 in. I'm trying to print it on nine (9) 8X11 papers.

Print Large Image By Tiling Several Normal/small Once
I am working on a project that is a large print of about 30 inches wide and 20 inches in height. (I just wrote a big post but for some reason when I tried posting it the forum logged me off and it didnt post so I wont get too detailed here.) Basically I need to print the image for example using 9 piece of normal paper and stick it together with transperant tape to make a large image. Is there a way to do this without the need to cut the borders on each page, I really would like to print borderless pages and not cut them.

Photo Enlargement Resolution
What resolution do I use to enlarge a 3”x4” photo into one that is one that is 3 ‘x4’? I am using S-Spline (PhotoZoom) which is similar to Genuine Fractal to enlarge pictures. I am also using Photoshop 6. Obviously, a photo enlarged to 3’x4’ at 300 dpi would probably crashed my computer. Is there a mathematically way to determine resolution when enlarging photos?

What's An Ideal Photo Resolution To Work With?
I am learning Photoshop on my own. I am using CS4. I need some help in understanding the resolution thing. If I have a photo taken with a digitala camera at 6 megapixel and I want to load it on Photoshop for a few tweaks and adjustments what resolution should I assign? I usually choose 200 pixels/inch. Secondly, does it affect the image if the resolution assigned on Photoshop is lesser than the camera resolution? I do not take prints of my Photoshop works. Just in case I need to print them I need to make sure that the resolution is appropriate.

Should One Change The Resolution Of The Preview Photo?
I use PS 7 and learning fast. The default resolution when I open a photo, is set on 72 pixels per inch. This produces a photo with not a lot of detail and my previews are not the same as the end result. I have read somewhere that it is better to work on 300 dpi. Is this correct? And if so, how do I change the default setting? Or should one always work on 72 and occasionally change to 200-300 dpi?

Big To Small Or Small To Smaller?
resampling an image for the web. I shoot raw 12 mp. Is it better to take a 12 mp image and resample to say 640X480 for the web, or, would it be better to shoot at say 3 mp and resample to 640x480? Would there be any difference in pic quality ?

Convert Low Resolution Image To High Resolution
I am a Photoshop newbie and I have a series of graphics (all 72dpi from a website) that I would like to print in 300dpi. Is it possible to take a 72dpi .jpeg or .gif file and easily convert it to a higher resolution printable graphic? If Photoshop can't do it, is there any type of program that can?

Small To Big But No Loss
there is Old picture in sizs 5" x 7". I want to print this picture from lab of size 16" x 20". Please can anybody tell me How I convert this picture in to biger size without any lose of resolution and Quality. I convert the original picture in to TIF. then Go to Image size increase the Percentage by 100 to 125. and Again save this file into Tif with Name A1. Then Again Open A1 do same size change 100% to 125% and save this by name A2.tif. continue... This is right way or any method.

Text Too Small
Today I tried to type something on a picture and clicked the vertical type tool just to experiment. It just came out as a vertical line so I switched back to the horizontal type tool but now the text is so tiny it looks like a series of dots even on 72 pt. How do I fix this?

Small Caps CS2
trying to make text all caps, but make the first letter in every word bigger. In premiere pro there is a setting called "Small Caps" where all capital letters look like normal capital letters, but when you type lowercase it is just smaller capital letters. The way I get around it is in Photoshop CS2 I just rasterize my text, then cut and manually make the rest of the letters smaller. How would I go about doing that, without rasterizing my layers?

How Do You Get Rid Of Small Pixels Around An Image?
I have a problem. I'm making a videogame with a videogame-making program, and I can import my videogame characters from computer images. One example is the Forest Imp monster: PROBLEM is.. there's an invisible (because it's white) border of pixels around this monster. If you want to see it, go ahead and open the above png in Photoshop and use the Paint Bucket Tool to fill in the background, but make sure Anti-Aliased is OFF. They are 80x80px and I'm wanting to tile them across a wallpaper with 10 columns and 5 rows (50 small images all together) Is there a program that that will do this automatically? Images Pasting Small
i have photshop cs and when i paste a picture into photoshop from my "my pictures" folder after selecting parts of the image with the magnetic lasso, it pastes fine. mind you, its in jpeg form, because its pictures i myself took with my digital camera. ok, thats not a problem. but when i go into another folder that has pictures on my computer, use the magnetic lasso to take part of the image and paste it once again on a blank new canvas---THE IMAGES PASTE LIKE 25% OF THE ORIGINAL SIZE!! it only does this with this one particular folder. i like making collages of my pics, so i open up a custom, 8x10 new blank canvas, and when i print, it always comes up super small when pasted. i try resizing the images, but they are pixelated, so it looks blurry the bigger i make it. how can i paste images in accordance with their original size and stop getting these super small midget sizes of my image?

Having Problem With Text Being Too Small
I use a 1920x1200 resolution desktop and sometimes i'll be working on pics that big. I want to add text to the pic but when I do, the text is tiny tiny @ a scale of 72, literally the size of a period. I use the free transform command to make it bigger and when I scale it to where I want it the text size literally blows up to the 3-4 THOUSAND range, like the text size for example would be 3824.2 font size.

Fonts For Small Type
I have the Adobe Font Package but I'm having trouble finding what I need for my banner ads. Because I'm working in small type, I need thick fonts that look good in small, 12-16pt type. I've found that Myriad Pro Bold is a good one for this but I'm looking for others that will give a nice, professional look to my banner ads as well.

Dragging Small Photos Onto 4x6
I am trying to drag 4 small photos 2x2.5 onto a blank 4x6 but they won't stay there. I just tried with the same photos earlier using a 72 dpi setting for the small photos and the blank 4x6 and they transferred ok. When the first 4x6 blank with the 4 small photos on it was sent to Costco to have it printed it wouldn't work because the resolution was too low. I have increased the resolution of all of the photos but now I can't get them to drag onto the 4x6. I have the same resolution for the blank 4x6 as the small photos. They are all jpg.

Importing A Small Signature
I want to add my signature, which is a tiny word to the bottom left hand corner of all my work. Whenever I import the graphic that I want to sign, then I import the signature, and I use the move tool to place it where I want it, the signature enlarges to quite a large size. How do I reduce it down to the miniature size that I want. I am importing my work (graphic) as a jpg and my signature as a psd, with a transparent background so that only the word will show up as the signature.

Text Entered Is Very Small?
something weird has started happening with the text tool. When I enter text it is really small. Even at 200pt it is tiny. I have it set on the normal text tool and none of the settings are changed apart from the font size. The work area is zoomed at 100% so it is at real size.

Small Image Need To Sharpen!

How To Bring Out Small Text
I have a picture to which somebody added text... It wasn't added with a great application. Now, the text is tiny, since the image is tiny. It's also a purple color between light and dark purple, and was inserted right over top of a pink wall. It's not a high-quality image. I'd really like to bring that text out and make it visible. Can anybody help me? I'm not a very experienced photoshop user, but I thought to myself "If anything can bring that text out, photoshop can do it."

Print To PDF To Save With Small File...
we have been saving super high resolution images in Photoshop by doing a "print to pdf" as we call it. You print the document, but rather than selecting an ordinary printer, you select Adobe PDF. Within the page layout of that printer, you can specify the resolution and document size to print/save, etc. I love it because you don't loose any of the integrity of the image, but the file size always ends up being in the kilabytes, rather than megs. At home, I don't seem to have that printer as an available option. I don't do the installations at my office, so I'm not sure if there is a driver that I need to install, or does that driver only come with Creative Suite?Â

Saving Small Images / Filesize
I've used another program (Gimp), that when I save a JPG I can choose several options, such as whether or not to include EXIF, thumbnail, etc. This can change a 100x100 image from 20kb to 5kb. In Photoshop, I cannot seem to find these options, and my 100x100 pixel images are coming out near 30kb (yes, I save in high quality, but so did I in the other program). I naturally assumed it was including the EXIF data but upon examining the files there actually is no EXIF, 1) How do I control whether or not EXIF data is saved? (on large files on would prefer it, the size is negligible, but on tiny files the size can be significant, and the data is unecessary) 2) How can I make my 100x100 pix image the same filesize (<10kb) that I can with Gimp, while retaining the same high quality?

Manipulating Small Font Size
How do you keep very small sized fonts looking good when manipulating them, as in using arc, skew, transform? I can manage this fine on bigger sized fonts, but when I want to make a very small font size arc (for ex to use on an avatar) it ends up looking blurry and not crisp and clean. tried pixel fonts but that was totally unreadable.

Text Font Is Incredibly Small
