Time Stamp In Adobe
When I save a file in PhotoShop or other Adobe products the time of the file is not in sync with my computer clock - it is 7 hours early.How do I reset the clock in Adobe? All other programs i.e.Word etc. are the correct time.

Adobe Output Module-Adobe Updater...
Product: CS4 64 bit: Adobe Output Module-Adobe updater downloads 2 updates 75.9mb (Camera Raw 5.3). After download and permission to continue under user account control, I receive popup menu advising me that Installation Incomplete, close Adobe Bridge - 3 choices, which always fail. My Adobe CS4 and Bridge are not open. I tried this several times with the same result.I downloaded the zip file, saved, unzip, and still get the same notice - close Bridge.

CS3 Crashes All The Time
CS3 PS -XP64 -16 bit files (not sure about others) -smear brush - after a few strokes PS quits with no defined error message -various other brush tools do the same -use of some filters cause same problem -tablet software removed - problem the same -preferences reset (makes no difference) demo of final version is no better than the prior beta - namely 'unusable' except as a pretty feature preview is it worth spending money on this upgrade?

Cannot Print Most Of The Time
Using CS3, windows XP. Printer is an HP 3550 color. I know this could be a printer error, but it only happens when I use Photoshop. I get a PCL XL error, IllegalAttributeError. Happens at least 95% of the time, so what I resorted to doing was to format all my work in CS3, then print using my old 5.5. However, many times that will not open! Is there some setting in PhotoShop I should check into? I checked the HP site and all the reasons for this error I seem to have covered.

CS4 Slows Down After Some Time
When i load up PS everything is fine - very responsitive - but after a while (around ½ hour to 1 hour) ps slows down and any tool becomes very slow; brush, pan.. everything.I then save my work and reload PS - and everything works fine again. My system is a powerful quadcore box with 8 GB of RAM and approx 300 GB of scratch disk - all running on Vista x64.

Filters Like Stamp
After I successfully used the filter called "stamp" once, now it basically doesn't work. I can even load the original, raw photgraph that worked before and try to repeat what I did and it's doing what it does to all photos now -- all it shows is a very white, washed-out looking version with useslessly dim content, no matter how I tweak the values. It doesn't help to turn the photo black & white first, & it doesn't help to convert the image into "smart filter"-friendly. I'm doing exactly the same thing but it doesn't work now. What on earth is going on? Am I going to have to uninstall and reinstall Photoshop? That is a huge pain to just arbitrarily try unless I have to (they'll say I've installed the max amount of times... I will have to find the copy of Elements I upgraded into Photoshop full... there's never an opportunity to select the version of Elements I upgraded from because it was latter vs. than listed available, so I'll have to talk voice to someone about both matters...). I have a licensed, registered copy of Photoshop CS3 (without the rest of the suite) running on Vista 64, quad processor with 8 gig RAM.

3D In CS4: Using The Stamp Tool To...
I would like to paint an image onto a 3d model using the clone stamp or pattern stamp tools within Photoshop CS4. The problem is the image needs to wrap around a curved body part, such as a tribal tattoo wrapped around an arm. When I click & brush the stamp on one area and then release to rotate the model, the stamp doesn't continue where it left off and my pattern is completely uneven.

anyone know a good place to go for a rubber stamp tutorial or have any experience creating one themselves? im looking for something in the vein of 'conspiracy' or 'confidential' like the red rubber stamp you see on paper work that gets 'denied' or a paper that 'failed' in the movies. something you might see on a manila folder that says 'confidential' or 'conpsiracy'.

Making Stamp
I have done a product shoot for a brand of sun screen cream, the ad requires the product to have it's own passport. That proved a little tricky (the art director wanted to use a real passport) but for legal reasons here in the uk I had to make up a passport (different from a real one for obvious reasons). Where I have got stuck is the stamps from the different countries, I don't want real ones, and I can make my own easily enough, but I cant get the worn faded "stamp" look to them, I'm getting an error every time.

Pattern Stamp
I always touch up the backgrounds of my pictures with the pattern stamp tool. I pick an area, option click and then stamp away. But now, when I option click I keep getting the message...pattern stamp could not be used because no pattern has been defined. I have tried everything I can think of but still can't define a pattern.

Clone Stamp
I have to press the option button to select the area I want to clone several times before the target will appear. When it does appear, I then have to click the mouse several times in order for the target to dissapear. Then, when I have the circle size of the brush visable and ready to go, the target is somehow reset and the clone stamp just clones the area right under the brush.

Transparent Stamp?
I'm attempting to build a website and I'd like a graphic but dont know how to go about it. Basically I want to make a stamp with the word "Cured" in blue ink color about 2 inches high and 4 inches wide. I'm sure there has to be a way in photoshop to create such an image?, but can I make it so it can be used to actually "stamp" over images or text on the webpage? Like say have a page full of text and then this image over the top of it, but able to see the text behind the word. Wow I hope that made sense. I'll be using dreamweaver to build the site (unless anyone knows of a better program).

Any Way To Resize A Group Of Photos At The Same Time?
I've taken a large quantity of digital photos during the rare snow we had this year. Am new at digital and unfortunately I took at too great of a resolution for what I want to do with them. I am making GIF backgrounds for PPT, and some grouping will have as many as sixty pics in them. But the file sizes are HUGE (my goof) and GIF animators can't handle them. Is there any way to compress batches of photos all at once? (Can't find that on the Batch command unfortunately) Resizing them one by one is laborious, even using hotkeys. Time is an issue. Thanks

CS3 Taking A Long Time To Open
This is a message for anyone whose Photoshop CS3 is taking a really, really long time (2 or 3 minutes) to load, and gets stuck on reading the Preferences. YES, I DID try trashing my Preference file, and letting Photoshop rebuild it. But that did not work. It still got hung up on loading Photoshop. What I found was that, somehow (and I'm still not sure how), I had many, many, many duplicate Tool Presets for all of my tools. They were duplicates of the default Tool Presets. In some cases, there were 50 or 60 duplicate Tool Presets for certain tools (i.e. Crop 8x10). I used the Preset Manager to DELETE all of the duplicate Tool Presets. I did not just trash all the presets, because I wasn't sure which ones were custom presets that I had set up, and I wasn't sure if I had saved all my custom ones. After deleting all of the duplicate Tool Presets, Photoshop CS3 now takes SECONDS to open. It's opens very quickly.

Updater Runs Each Time I Start
I'm using Photoshop CS2 and recently installed it on my new Vista system. During normal use, I log in to Windows as a non-administrator, as recommended for security purposes. Each time I launch Photoshop, it wants to check for updates, and asks for administrator privileges to do so. This is very annoying, first because I then have to enter my password for the admin account each time, and second because I don't need to check for updates every single time I run the program. I can instruct Windows to run photoshop.exe as an administrator each time it runs, which fixes the annoying problem of it checking for updates, but it still means I have to enter my administrator password each time I want to run Photoshop. Surely there is a good solution to this problem? I'd be happy if I could just instruct Photoshop once and for all to "do not check for updates". I have this option set and it seems to work when I run it as an administrator but when I run it as a non-privileged user, it still insists on checking for updates.

Printing Takes Long Time
I sell high speed graphics color copier/printers. Here are the details - Photoshop 9 CS2, Ethernet, Sharp AR-C330 Fiery Print Controller with 1 GHz Processor, 512 MB RAM. When we print a bunch of high res photos it prints very fast, seconds. If we have any text on the page, or a seperate page with text, Courier or Arial font, the printer chokes on it and it takes 25 minutes to print one page. When I use Photoshop v7 the same document prints in seconds.

How Does One Print Date/time On A Photo
I print most of my photos as 4x6 snapshots and keep them in folders for easy viewing. I'd like to be able to print the date in the lower, right corner similar to a photo that's been taken with a camera with a date back. I know this is sacreligious to some, but it's very convenient to have the date where it's readily visible.

Clone Stamp Is Broken
I am doing some photo retouching and have the original photo on the background layer. Now I have never been able to get my clone stamp to work when I add a "new layer" and try working on that layer. It will work on the original background image, where there are definitely pixels. But the new layer sitting on top of the background layer is transparent, and my clone stamp won't do anything But I want to be able to retouch on the new layer without affecting the original background layer. So I'm watching this Quicktime movie by J. Kost on Advanced Photoshop Portrait Retouching (I bought the entire set from her at Fotofusion) and I am watching her do this!!! But I can't! She is retouching a portrait with the clone stamp....the transparent layer 1 is active above the background layer (ie it's highlighted) and the paintbrush well is indicating that the transparent layer 1 is what is being worked on. I checked my opacity for this layer...it's 100%. I am working in 8bit RGB mode. PS 6.01. Blending mode is normal.... Do any photoshop gurus have any idea about what I am doing wrong? As a beginner (I have only seriously been studying photoshop for about 2 years...and I know it takes a long time), this problem has been confusing me...and not just with the clone stamp but also with the other brushes, and thus knowing when I can work on a seemingly transparent layer versus one with pixels.

Clone Stamp Tool
step 3 i have to use the clone stamp tool. But when i press ALT, my cursor changes to a double arrow! A white arrow and a black arrow, and the black arrow overlaps the white arrow for 80%. I guess thats not right, i should get a circle with a + in the middle of the circle right? When i press alt and click mouse button, nothing happends. When i do that, and click somewhere at the image, i get the error that no area has been defined.
