dell desktop with vista on it and when I tried to install ACSP and after I have entered the serial the installation just stopped. Is that version maybe too old?

Transfering Adobe Creative Suite 2 To...
Anyone out there know how to transfer Adobe Creative suite 2 Premium to another computer? I deactivated the software on the computer I am retiring and tried to install it on my new laptop. It will not activate; says I have a wrong serial number, name or organization.  I installed it 3 years ago and don't remember what orgainization I used ( I work for several organizations). Tech support will not help me; says the product is too old and they do not support it. I spent a lot of money on this product and now I am dead in the water. Can anyone help or suggest how I can get this product running on my new computer?

Creative Suite Color Settings
I have Photoshop CS4. When I try to access the Creative Suite Color settings item from the Edit menu in Bridge I get an error message saying that Color Suite Management is not enabled because a qualifying product has to be launched at least once. Is not Photoshop, which I have launched many times, a qualifying product?

CS Premium To Creative Suite 3 Design...
The company I am currently working for are using Adobe Creative Suite Premium and are looking to upgrade to Creative Suite 3 Design Premium. I just wanted to check a few things thou before we spend the money. First of all is this upgrade possible or would we have to upgrade to CS2 then CS3? Also CS3 Design Premium contains Flash and Dreamweaver. Will we get these 2 programs if we update? or will it just update the software we already have, as Flash and Dreamweaver aren't part of the original package we purchased.

(BTW i am on Vista 32) The first time I tried installing, ADBEPHSPCS3_WWE.exe successfully unpacked, I successfully transitioned to the Adobe Photoshop CS3 installation, and it appeared to install. After 30 minutes or so, the installer finished and simply said that shared components had installed but the Photoshop CS3 “Component install failed.” I always got in the log Error 1935.An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC80.MFCLOC,version="8.0.50727.163",type="win32",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="x86"'. Please refer to Help and Support for more information This, I know, is everyone’s typical problem. I turned off firewall and antivirus. I uninstalled ALL Adobe and Macromedia programs, including Flash and Acrobat. I used Windows Install Cleanup Utility to remove them. I downloaded the CS3 Clear from Adobe and cleared at levels 1, 2, and 3. I created the Administrator account on my computer and tried everything on the Administrator account. I tried installing Photoshop CS3 with compatibility mode for XP SP2. I tried: 1. Open an Administrator command prompt by right clicking on Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt and selecting "Run as Administrator" and clicking "Allow" for the elevation prompt 2. In the command prompt, type the command below fsutil resource setautoreset true C: 3. Reboot the machine I tried: Get command prompt up. It has to be run with admin rights so save yourself some time and run it this way.........Start/programs/accessories/.....right click command prompt and click run as administrator. Then paste these commands in 1 after the other regsvr32 vbscript.dll (THEN PRESS ENTER) and regsvr32 jscript.dll (AGAIN PRESS ENTER) I even tried installing in Safe Mode but the CS3 setup would not initialize.

Unable To Install Adobe CS3 Web Premium
I opened my Adobe Photoshop CS3 Web Premium and it told me I cannot use it anymore. Same with Adobe Fireworks. It was running fine previously until THAT day. I was told by the error message to uninstall or reinstall the progam, which I did. But after uninstalling and installing CS3 again, only Adobe Acrobat was successful. All other components failed.

Installing CS3 Creative But Have PSE 6 On Computer
I have PSE 6 installed on my computer but never got it working properly, I didn't know how to use it. Now I am in a beginning photoshop class and have purchased Adobe Creative Suite Web Premium. (I want to learn graphic design as well so I wanted all the design features.) I bought it because I can't afford CS4 and I found CS3 for $400 on sale. I work in Vista if that info helps. Viewer 1.1 - CS3 Suite
For whatever reason I cannot determine, Help Viewer has ceased to function from within any of my CS3 programs. I see that this has been brought up before, but I have yet to find anything like a detailed solution. I did go and download the available update, but that did nothing, my Help is still just a blank window. I understand that this Help system is a basic browser, but it gives you ZERO controls with which to troubleshoot. We are behind a corporate proxy and firewalls, so it's possible something's not getting thru, but how the heck do you fix that in the HV ?

This evening I purchased the upgrade to CS4 for my CS3 Master Suite. All applications installed without error however Photoshop loads with the beta Stonehenge loading screen. How is this possible? I currently have Windows XP with SP3. I recently tried to install Photoshop Extended. However, when it get's to "initializing Photoshop" It just stops...nothing pops up. I tried to uninstall Photoshop from the Add/Remove programs menu but when I click remove, nothing pops up either. Is there a way to manually remove Photoshop and re-install it?

I`m running Windows Vista, AMD Turion X2 64bit, 4GB RAM, 320GB HDD. Downloaded the installer from the website, placed it in C:Temp and tried to install. When the installation begins it shows the "Checking System Profile" window, when the progress bar is near the end an error message appears saying "Command line option syntax error. Type Command /? for Help.". I click the OK button and the installer gets stuck at the "Checking System Profile" window. I've tried common procedures for this such as placing the installer in C:Temp and changing %TEMP% and %TMP% to C:Temp. the installer is being run as administrator.

I have a desktop and a laptop and have installed PS3 on both as per the terms of the license agreement. However, I have just upgraded my laptop (and uninstalled PS3 off the old laptop), but the installation failed on my new laptop I am guessing because the license key was regarded as invalid as I had done my two permissable installs.

Install CS-4 32 Bit...
I'm currently keeping up with CS-4 problems, needs, and work arounds prior to a trial download. I'll recheck tha availability today, and tomorrow, and the next day... until. Currently running CS-3 Win XP Home SP3 AMD 64 bit dual core CPU 2 Gig Memory (maximum allowed for the MB) A video card that might need replacing (NVidia 7300 with 256 meg) From the forum, it appears that the installer installs both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions. As the 64 bit is apparently useless with XP, does the installer 'see" that and only install the 32 bit version? Does the person doing the installing tell it what to install? Do you get both installed no matter what you do?

Whenever I insert my CD, the installer does not pop up, so I open up the Adobe CS4 folder at the root level of my disk and I double-click the Setup. However, the Setup does not start. Instead a window pops up saying: "Adobe Setup has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Can I Install CS2 On My Mac That Already Has CS3?
I have a new Mac Pro with CS3, but I'd like to be able to use ImageReady. I have a CS2 installation disc, and I want to know if I can install CS2 on this machine without screwing up the functions of CS3. Is it possible to have both versions on one machine? Can't Install CS3 10
I download Adobe Photoshop CS3 10 and did what the installing file said I double clicked the setup.exe, after it loaded the files it needed in the ZIP file, the initializing box popped up with the loading bar, after its done loading the box diappears, but nothing after that. CS4 - How To Install Both...
When I installed Photoshop CS4 along with the other apps on CS4 Web Premium I thought that both versions of PShop would be installed by default, but that was not the case with my installation; only the 64 bit version was installed. Now I would like to install the 32 bit version but when I try to do it through setup I am unable to check the box. There is a list of "Installed Products" and then "Available Products"; the only thing under "Available Products" is Photoshop CS4, but I am unable to check the box. how I can install the 32-bit version? I want it for the GPU acceleration and to use certain plugins.

Cannot Install CS4
trying to install CS4. I have CS3 running on my machine, and it is running perfectly. Although I recall that I had problems, when I initially installed it. I'm running a high end machine, which I built in 2006. It has XP SP3 installed, 2 GB of RAM, 4 internal drives totalling 1.6 TB, and another TB or so in external USB drives, an AMD 64 4400+, Athlon X2 processor, an EVGA GeForce 7800 GT CO, driving a 30" Dell LCD monitor, an ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe NF4SLI 939 mobo,and 2 Plextor 16X 716A optical drives. The machine runs smooth as silk, and Photoshop CS3 and Bridge CS3 run perfectly. When I inserted the CS4 DVD, it took a while for the first install screen to display, but it finally did, stating that it was initializing. After quite a while, a new screen came up entitled "Checking System Profile". That stayed on screen for 3-4 minutes before anything showed on the progress bar. Then the progress showed about 25% done. Then things stalled, for about 6-7 minutes, when the progress bar went to 100%, and then the window closed, and that was the end of things. Nothing further happened. I then shut down AVG anti-virus, and tried again - no better. When it stalled, I called up the task manager, after looking through the various tabbed windows, XP suddenly crashed hard to a blue screen, with the usual list of suggested actions. I rebooted, and all was normal. While I was sure that my C drive was without problems, I ran the full chkdsk from the disk management window, after calling for a reboot, to start that lengthy process. All 5 stages of the chkdsk operation showed zero problems of any kind I then booted into safe mode, and tried to install CS4 - after a little while, a message came up stating "system error" contact Adobe. I also figured that I'd try to copy the DVD onto my F drive, and install from there. That sometimes works for situations like this. But for some reason the copying process was extremely slow. The CS4 DVD has about 1.5 GB of material on it. But the copying rate was about 1% per minute, indicating that it would take 100 minutes to copy it - crazy, so I gave up on that. My optical drives read at proper speeds, as I have recently copied a full DVD of files onto a hard drive, and the copying took only a few minutes. Photoshop is a fantastic program. But trying to install it has become very difficult lately.

Cannot Install CS3 ...?
I have an issue installing Photoshop CS3 as follow: I have removed all Photoshop CS3 Beta manually (Use control panel, deleted files and registries) as instructed in this web and get rid of all thing involved Adobe out of my computer. When I clicked Setup.exe, a setup windows with progressive bar, appeared shortly and then disappear! Then nothing is happenned further. No error message. It just disappeared. I wait for an hour but nothing happened. I tried to run Windows in clean mode (msconfig -> disable unneccessary services) and also disable Antivirus and Firewall etc. But this problem persists. I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium (32Bit) and have Intel Centrino Duo 2.0GHz with 1.5GB of Ram (DDR2) and 100GB HDD. Graphic shared Intel 945GM Express Chipset.

Can't Install CS2 On Vista.
I just bought Photoshop CS2 (the Polish version) on the internet. I am trying to install it on my HP Pavilion dv7-1080ew laptop. I can't get past the end part of the installation process, though. When it gets to registering (the very last part of installing), it starts rolling back the changes. I turned off my AV, tried running it as administrator, in compatibility mode for XP... still doesn't work. Is anyone else having this problem?

Cannot Install 7.0 On Laptop
I've recently rebuilt my laptop (XP SP2, compaq 6910p) and cannot install Photoshop 7.The CD loads to the point where I choose which feature I want (reader or photoshop), then it just stops. It's not the CD, because it installs fine in other machines. I cannot run the install from either my desktop locally or from a CD drive of a working machine.

CS3 Won't Install On Vista
I have downloaded the trial version of PhotoShop CS3 but when I try to install it unzips ok from the initial setup file, but then when I go into the created folder on the desktop and run the setup program in there a dialog box appears, nothing else happens, then it disappears after a few seconds. The process for it appears then disappears in Task Manager also.

Re-install CS3 On New Laptop
I am currently running CS3 on a laptop that will soon be replaced. I know that I have to de-activate CS3 on the old laptop, before I can install CS3 on the new laptop. (Note: New laptop is an ASUS G71G-Q2) Once CS3 is installed I will then run the upgrade disk for CS4. What I'm trying to figure out is this: BEFORE I install the CS4 upgrade, do I need to install all the updates/fixes to CS3 to insure "trouble free" operation of CS4? or does installing the CS3 updates play no role in CS4 as they are like two different app's? I would assume that whatever responce I get here about CS3 and CS4 would also apply to Lightroom 1.4 and Lightroom 2.3 regarding updates.Â

Unable To Install PS7?
I purchased a new Dell XPS 630 with XP Pro SP3. I installed Premiere Pro CS3 (all parts), which works fine. I then tried to install my old PS7 and I cant get it to load. I tried the disc in another machine with XP and it loaded right away.
