Resizing For Printing
I am trying to resize my digital photos to the normal 4x6 inches for printing, but when I enter the parameters to resize, either the width or height automatically changes and I can't get it to 4x6.

Resizing For Printing On T-shirts
I am on a Mac G4 running 10.3.9 I use PS7 and here is the question... I must size an exsisting image (original is at 3980 X 2839_300ppi); It must go to 2000 X 2000_200ppi, fitting into a 10 X 10 template. Well, I did this. We ordered a test shirt and the design looked like &#$%@*!!! breaking up; no sharp lines, etc. I know this COULD be due to their printing, but want to make sure that I did EVERYTHING right as to the resizing. Does ANYONE have any suggestions as to how to do this right? In my question to the site (CafePress) my reply said that I should ask PhotoShop (Adobe) how best to handle this___basically saying that we are on our own! If needed, I will post the img and template, if this helps.

Photo Printing - Not Printing To Border
i've tried both borderless and non, I've also realigned by cartridges and updated drivers and program. When I'm printing with Photoshop CS, didn't do it on 6.0, it's not printing properly at all. It's not printing to the edges of the paper (4x6) and the space it's leaving on all sides isn't even. If I choose borderless it's even worse and if I print a larger picture on 8.5 x 11 and pick center, it's not even close, I'm talking inches off.

I can do this using the select option in every single frame, but isn`t there a way to select the part directly in the gif so that the selection is made in every frame??

Resizing!
I designed a form in photoshop for somebody. I chose A4 size for the canvas from the preset sizes, but the problem is that I need to send it to the other person to print (I don't have a printer and they don't have photoshop). I thought I'd save it as an image and send it to them to print out, but the image is huge (image->image size shows the document size as 21*29.7 cm but the pixel dimensions as 2480*3508 px). My only choices (in the dropdown box), for changing the image size requires me to use either pixels or percent. I'm a bit confused as to why A4 size isn't A4 when you convert it to an image. Please could someone give me some pointers as to how I can change my PSD to an image that is A4 size,

CS3 Batch Resizing Bug?
This has been "bugging" me for a while. 1) Open a raw file (.CR2) 2) output the file to JPG or open directly ===> i.e. the resulting image is 3888 x 2592 3) use Automate > Fit Image ===> i.e. 1200 pixels (reducing the image by a factor of 3.24) ======> The result should be 1200 x 800 pixels However the batch conversion would be result in 1200 x 801 pixel. Even if I were to add a step 2.5 as follows 2.5) image > image size > 1200 x 800 After automate > Fit Image (1200) it would still result in 1200 x 801 pixels! What's broken with photoshop? The only fix I've stumbled across so far would be to use an external programme to strip all the exif and attached metadata, only then would the "Fit Image" script work. Having one extra pixel doesn't really matter most of the times, but it's does get on my nerves. Advice sought: How can I fix this?

Resizing For Threadless
I'm trying to make a desing for threadless.com. The problem is resizing my desing for the submission. There is a four color limit so the best I've been able to do is pick "nearest neighbor" for resample image. This keeps it at four colors, but it looks really bad. Anything else I've tried blures design and makes it too many colors. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Can I do this? I've found tutorials to print a document like this, but I'm look for posting to the web. When I just resize the pixels and use the resample and constrain proportions option its just small and blurry. I'm using PS 7.

Red Eye Design -Resizing -
When I resize an image to a smaller size line and so on dont stay as sharp as they did from the original size....is there a way to prevent this? Resizing up or down requires a remap of the pixels so there is almost always some interpolation and therefore softening. But when resizing down you can improve the quality by picking you scale percentage carefully. If you scale to fifty percent, for instance, the interpolation can toss every other pixel rather than interpreting inbetween them. I have had some improved results (I think) by using this method. In theory scaling down 25 percent tosses every forth pixel... 75 percent, 3 of out of four. So you might try scaling to on of these first and then doing another scale from there. It may seem counterintuative to do two scale and get a better result but I had a job a few years back that required holding the sharpness of a grid when scaled down. Back then I tested this and it seems to work. But it has been too long and so I wouldn't bet the farm on this one. The other option is to set the interpolation method to Nearest Neighbor. This method doesn't fade between pixels, it just replicates or tosses the existing ones. It will keep things like lines sharp.

Resizing Weirdness...CS3
I'm creating a web page in Dreamweaver. I grab the photo I want to use for a header; & open it in Photoshop (CS3). I resize the photo to 7" wide...@ 72ppi, which will be the perfect width for the design I have in mind. I configure the resized photo into Dreamweaver; & it looks small...about 5-1/2" in width. I think...OK...maybe it's something to do w/ Dreamweaver's default resolution...so I preview the page in Internet Explorer...knowing the default browser resolution is 72ppi. It's still 5-1/2" wide in IE. Photoshop is telling me it's 7" wide, but it's 5-1/2" wide everywhere else.

Image Resizing
All my images are 3008x2000, and I want to resize them down to a smaller scale for a web site. I know there must be a simple math equation to use to figure out what size would be safe where the images keep their proportion correct. In other words, at 3008x2000, if I reduce to 600x400, it looks out of proportion.

I resized it to 3cm wide at 300 dpi with the following boxes checked: scale styles/constrainproportions/resample image/bicubic. But the image is very pixellated when reduced and taken into ID, even tho reduced in size from the original. I've done this dozens of times in Ps 7 abd never had this happen.

Resizing Window Using PS CS4 On PC
I am trying to figure out a way to put 4 or 6 images on my screen and be able to move them around to compare them. Am using Photoshop CS4 on PC and XP Home. I open 4 or 6 files and float all in windows. I then zoom out and make 1 image smaller, so it is smaller than the window. Then match zoom and location to get the zoom ratios the same. Now I have 4 or 6 images that are in windows that are larger than the image. Is there any way I can make the windows smaller to be the same as the image other than do each one individually by dragging on the corner? Is there a shortcut to do this? Any way to adjust all the windows at once?

Resizing Photographs
resizing images in photoshop cs2: The image is 2560 x 1920 pixels, when i check image size in photoshop the image is 90.31 cm x 67.73 cm. The image is opening at this size by default, as i have been using a 5mg pixel camera to take the photograph. Using the bicubic sharpen option I am simply reducing the image size to 60cm x 45cm, but when i am printing off test strips, there is still alot of pixelation. I would presume that because i am reducing the size of the image that there would be less pixelation but this doesnt seem to be the case. Is there anything that i am doing wrong or could do to ammend this? Is there any other way of reducing the size of the image, while still retaining the quality?

New Brush Resizing
The ability to resize your brushes and change the hardness on the fly, rather than using the brushes dropdown dialog, is a HUGE time-saver. Talk about a great feature that I wish had been in Photoshop all along... The only improvement I could suggest is to be able to switch between size and hardness on the fly, i.e. if I'm holding ALT to change the size and I add SHIFT it should instantly change to hardness. Having to re-right-click makes it difficult to switch from size to hardness or vice versa while keeping the brush in the same position.
