White Border On Black Shape Against...
I used Photoshop CS3 to create a coupe of boxes in black, nothing fancy, just pure black boxes as for background stuff for a web page, and then saved it for Web through photoshop whereby the html and images are created. Opening the html in dreamweaver appears ok until i add a dark background and white "strokes" appear on my boxes drawn using PS.

Black Text On White Bg How Save To Gif
I've got the white bg layer turned off so the black text above it is transparency. I can't seem to save this as a gif. how do I save as gif? don't want to see the white bg though, hence, can't flatten. also, seems gifs are quite pixilated after drag them into e mail text.

Making Black White And White Black
I wanted to make a decal to place on the acrylic window of my PC. I found the perfect picture, which is in black and white. For it to look right though, I need to switch the black to white, and vice versa. Is there a way with Photoshop to automatically switch these, instead of having to manually switch them.

White Border Around Cut Out Images ?
I am new to Photoshop and I was hoping someone could answer this question.? When ever I cut out an image with the pen in CS2 and then use it in Flash or other programs I get a small white area around the image. Is there something I'm missing on the saving bit ?

White Border Around The Margins
How do I get my image, its a flyer to print on a full 8.5x11 media. The image size/canvas size is 8.5x11, but when I try to print it or save it as a *.pdf it always comes out with about a 1/4" white border around the margins.

White Border Around Print Outs
I have had an on going problem for as long as I can remember. When I finish a design in photoshop and print it out I will always get this white border around the design. I originally was using Photoshop CS3. I am not using Photoshop CS4 I do all my designs on a Macbook Pro. It doesn't matter what type of printer I am using. It always does the something. I even tried to give my designs a bleed margin in hopes that my design will bleed to the edges. Would the resolution of the files have to do with white border? I am all out of options. I hope find a solution to this problem especially if I am sending my work to print shops.

Removing White Border From Around Logo
I am creating animated buttons for my new topsite pages and cannot seem to rid my image of the white border around the logo in both layers. I first used the polygon lasso tool to crop the logo from the original image and pasted it into a transparent background. I then turned it into an animated gif. Any ideas on how to remove the white edges from around the black ring of the logo (see image) I've just about tried everything I can think of. You probably cannot see what I mean with this background, but on a darker background like blue or green it is really noticeable.

Black And 'White'
it dosent look like ordinary black and white, and apparently the models hair was brown, so the effect wasnt created by mearly turning down the saturation and up the brightness. I also know that the effect wasnt created using makeup, it was soley Photoshop, I've seen this type of 'white' before but I cannot work out how it is done.

I want to turn a colored picture into a black and white one, while maintaining some of the quality of the original pic, or in other words: be able to tell what's on the picture. Ofcourse it's not so hard to remove all the color of a picture, but then it would be a black/white/grey picture, and duotone, which does actually what I want, isn't a great help either, because there's almost no way of telling what the original picture looked like. Why I wanna do this you ask? Simple, I want to have an easy way to create an operator logo for my mobile phone

Print C41/tcn 400 Black And White
if i print grayscale i get sepia tone same as if film printed by shop. I have read a lot of stuff on internet re print b&W but it all assumes you are starting with true b&W films. I have film developed to a CD, and it "registers" as RGB, but when try adjusting the channel mixer, etc and printing color = terrible. Printing it grayscale produces sepia.

Black And White With Color
I tried to set a color photo over top of a black and white one to airbrush away enough to expose the backround (the grayscale pic) but when I tried to copy onto the first layer, it turned my color photo to grayscale. I tried this with the gray pic locked and unlocked. What did I do wrong, or can this even be done?

So i upload a picture on photoshop cs4, i make a new layer, and then I apply image. After I apply my image, I made a mask layer. But then when I try to use my brush on the mask layer, its always in the black-white range. I can't use any other colours. So what can I do?

How To Black And White Then Blur...
I have been messing around with it trying to learn some different things. I just learned how to black and white a color picture then make certain parts color while leaving others BW. My question is after I do this, how do I blur part of the photo? I can't get PS to let me blur once I BW the picture and make part color. For example what I want to do is, take a color photo of say two people. Leave the people in color then BW the background. Then blur the background to make the people stand out even more.

Color (Everything Black And White!)
try and open the hue and saturation, it wont allow me to. When i import the image, it will show up in color, just how it was, but I cant mess with hue or saturation. if i select a color to draw with, it will show up a shade of grey, white or black. I may have accidently clicked something to cause this, but im not sure how to fix it

Black And White With RGB Channels?
I have some photos I want to convert to black and white and I would like to do so by picking one of the r g b channels. For instance the set of pictures I'm working on looks great in just the red channel. Here's the problem I'm having. When I delete the rest of the channels leaving only the red channel I can not save the picture as a jpg. It will only allow me to save in a raw format or photoshop file. Is it possible to convert the red channel to a layer?

Colour With Black And White
how to achieve black and white photos where either one other colour remains throughout (i.e. everything that was red, stays red, everything else is b&w).... i found this but it just doesn't work for me the other thing is how to keep one section coloured (like just one person in a photo, everything else b&w)....is the only way to do this by zooming in and going round painting each pixel of that mask-layer white?

Black & Pure White
while making black and white illustrations with photoshop: I can't make the background pure white! Even if I put the cmyk value as 0000 it changes it automatically to 0223 or something. You can't tell the difference on the screen, but in print this comes out as a very light grey, which pretty much destroys my work. I don't think the black is pure black either. Working in bitmap mode is not an option.

Certain Parts Color, Others Black And White
I have some color pictures, and I was wondering if it was possible to make most of the picture black and white, while other parts stay in color. I've found some tutorials using the channel mixer, and calculations and stuff like that to make them b&w and I'm comfortable with that. Black N White Pics With Color
1.(the more easier one)i have come across pictures that are straight black and white...but say...the eye color is still blue or green or the flowers in the pic still retain their color. how in the hell did they do this, i have tried everything. i suck at this horribly so you are going to have to break it down for me. 2. i am in the army and i want to take a black and white pic of my fiance and myself....and keep the flag the current red white and blue...now, is it more difficult to do since there are 3 colors? or technically 2 because the white is part of the black and white?
