Welcome to the homepage of the popular WebspotBlogging Script. With the release of version 2 we've made a new site which contains all the information you might need to learn about before installing WebspotBlogging. On this site we have themes, documentation, support and faqs.



WebspotBlogging is a free PHP script which allows you to implement a fully functioning blog or news system to your site. Thanks to the posting control panel you are able to easily post entries in your blog. With the formatting buttons you can apply formatting to your posts that makes your entries look better.



With the user system you can make a number of different users and choose if they are allowed to be an administrator. By being an administrator you can enter the admin control panel where you can change settings, users and themes. If you are an administrator you can also edit or delete other peoples posts. Whereas if you were a normal user you are only able make posts and only edit or delete your own posts.



The theme manager allows you to easily change what your blog looks like. You are able to change loads of things like fonts, colours, headers, logos and more. With the settings manager you can edit settings to make your blog more personal. Also in the admin control panel there is the version check page. Here it tells you what version of WebspotBlogging you have and what is the latest version that is on the web you are able to download. There is also an announcements panel where it picks up the latest news about WebspotBlogging in case a security flaw has been found.



And finally the easy setup wizard guides you through all of the steps to setting up your blogging page quickly and easily. The wizard goes through and asks you how you would connect to your database and also the basic settings that customises your blog so it looks like your own quickly. The setup wizard then populates the database with all of the information gathered.
