Use Of iFrames and How to create IFRAMES
iFrames are usefull for large sites, it involves each section of a page to have an individual page which are peiced together using iframe tags. Iframes are simple to create and save a great deal of time in the long run. However before continuing to covert your site to frames you should understand that some search bots and browsers do not recognise frames how they should do, this could result in loss of users and your site not displaying in search engines, however there is a way to overcome this

Working with Frames
So if frames aren't all that and a bag of chips, why on Earth would you want to learn them? There is two very specific reasons: 1) Frames are a unique part of HTML. I want you to understand what you're looking at if you see frames and to also have them in your toolbox if you ever need them. 2) Frames can occasionally be exactly the right choice for a specific approach. Let's say you want to develop an application in which data loads into another location directly within the same interface.

Escaping Frames and Staying within Frames
Frames, frames, frames. You either love them or hate them. Either way, you have to deal with them. Maybe you won't write them to your pages, but others do. One of the most popular formats of Web page design is that two-column, seamless-frame look. I have a tutorial on it here. Although I'm not a fan of frames myself, I do like this look when done correctly. You get a nice row of buttons down the left-hand side that controls what comes up in the right hand frame. It's a good look as long
