Lumia 620 Shuts Down At The End Of Install Process - How To Get It Turned Back On
Jul 16, 2015
I was installing Windows 10 on my Lumia 620 and at the end of the process it shuts down! (I suppose because the battery went empty). Any way now i charge the phone and it powers up automatically, it goes to the gears icons, they start working, and then the battery goes again dead and here we are again at square one? Maybe because the installing process needs more power than the charger can supply (the standart charger 1.3A). What I can try in this situation?
I have windows 8.1 installed on my laptop and when I try to upgrade to windows 10, it overheats, shuts down and when I restart it, goes back to windows 8.1.
My fans are clean and everything works just fine with the laptop, I don't understand why is this happening. I also have a friend with a similar laptop model who is having the same overheating problem when upgrading to windows 10 (in his case, from windows 7).
I have recently upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 Build 10074. When I first upgraded the start menu and cortana were working fine until i turned off my pc and turned it back on. I have used the command in power shell but that didn't work.
Desktop Icons move back to the left (default) side of the screen after customizing. this happens when the the computer is put into sleep mode and is woken up or when the monitor is turned off and turned back on. I upgraded to windows 10 Pro 64bit from windows 7 ultimate 64bit. This problem never happened with windows 7.
-Automatic Sleep mode is turned off - when I manually put computer to sleep mode and wake it up the icons are rearranged
-Automatic turn off monitor has been deactivated - when shut off my monitor but keep my computer on and then turn back on the monitor the icons have rearranged
-I have small icons setting
-Auto align icons has been deactivated
-allow themes to change icons has also been deactivated
My Computer: LG 34UM65 - 21x9 - 2560x1080p resolution AMD 9590 Asus Crosshair V Formula Z Gigabyte HD7970ghz Corsair Platinum Ram WD HDD Samsung 850Pro - Windows 10 is installed on the SSD My Drivers are all up to date. and Motherboard Bios has just been updated to 2201

after download finished phone rebooted and installed the update. when it started up it was just wp 8.1 again ! now when i go to phone update it says your phone is up to date! whats wrong with my phone?
When I try to install windows 10 into my newly built pc, everything goes normally... then it says that the pc need to reboot, and it does. After the reboot, the windows logo appears and it brings me back to the windows installation process.
Recently I have installed windows 10 build 10586 from windows insider , i was wondering if i can get android apps on my lumia 535 is it possible ? another question will lumia 535 support 4g sim in it ?
I was using Windows 10 from Last 2 months . Yesterday I did a clean install of windows 10 .everything went well. But now when I try to shut down or restart , windows shuts down. display goes off but laptop power doesn't. Fan and all power indicators stay on.
{I have tried setting the BIOS to default settings. No solution.)
My Windows 7 was updating to Windows 10. When it appeared to almost be done configuring a message appeared stating the Windows 10 could not be installed and it was restoring the previous version of Windows.
Well that did not work. The pc will not boot up now. Instead I get: "Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: <windows root>system32hal.dll Please reinstall a copy of the above file"
I hope I can add the file using the win7 dvd. I know I was getting low on hard drive space, but had cleared enough to have 4 gig or so free. It was either not mentioned anywhere or I missed how much hd space would be needed. Of course I am assuming that the install bombed due to this?
Recently upgraded to w10 from w8.1 via the upgrade option, then proceeded to make a USB boot with w10 and performed a clean install.
However, something is fishy with my system and w10 so for now i want to revert back to w8.1 via a clean install of w8.1
When i installed w10 however i noticed i have an abundance of partitions, and preferably i would only like to have my SSD and HDD as optional storage spaces. I do of course not want to delete any necessary recovery or system partitions, but to me it seems like i currently have too many.
Which of the partitions in the picture below can i delete? Is it safe to delete all the recovery partitions when clean installing w8.1 from usb? meaning that will the installation create the necessary partitions required by windows?
the go back button on edge doesn't seem to have the ability to, when you click and hold on it, see many of the previous pages, so you can go back more than one page per click.
I have registered for windows insider program, but did not upgrade to preview build, still using denim version.. i dont want to go for any preview.. so can i update it to windows 10
My Lumia 925 just shut off randomly and wont turn back on. I held the power key and volume down and it does vibrate but the screen doesn't show anything. It is the latest build of windows 10 if that matters. I also had it plugged in for about 20 minutes
I'm running Windows 10 now and I haven't been able to connect to my Lumia 822 (WP 8.1) using internet sharing. I click on connect on Windows 10, and then it says "Can't setup mobile hotspot".
I am using lumia 520 it is uanble to turn off data connections as i know this is one of the problem in tp 10051!!! When will the future build available???
I was running Windows 7 and upgraded to Windows 10. I lost no data or programs or pictures, etc. Windows 10 worked fine for about a month and then developed a "restart required" loop. After several attempts I tried the Recovery option, thinking it would take me back to a restore point as in Windows 7. Instead it took me back to Windows 7 and all data and programs (other than the Windows 7 default programs) are gone. How can I get back to either 7 with my data and programs or 10 with my data and programs?
I am using a Lumia 520.I am trying to connect my phone via Bluetooth but the laptop can't discover my phone and hence not able to connect. Windows 10...
I have a lumia 929 that I installed w10 on. I receive texts containing media content and cannot open them. is there an additional app required to do this or is this an issue with mobile 10? how do I open the media contents, I am able to receive texts and respond to them, just cannot open the ones that have media content, all I get is an illustration that says download, when I tap that nothing happens.
