This code displays records by the the month they where recorded and displays the months as names (January...) How can I do the Same for Days (Mon, Tues) and Hours (9.00,10.00)
Select DATENAME(mm,dDate) as Month, count(iStatID) as Total_Po from ListingStats Group by DATENAME(mm,dDate) Order by DATENAME(mm,dDate)
I'm developing one leave application form in that I've declared "No of days"column as nvarchar type..If the user taking half(1/2) day leave then have to covert that 1/2 into 4 hours itseems..since I'm trying to display the table data on datagridview while displaying that half day in gridview again it has to conver 4 hours into 1.2 format..
My Table design: Create table Leave_Form ( Employee_id int primary key, Emp_Date date, Emp_name nvarchar(50),
I am trying to convert hours and minutes to decimal and arrive at a sum of time taken. The column TotalTimeSpent is the diff in hours/mins between the Started and Ended times.
SELECT DATENAME(weekday, Started) AS Day, C.Category, ClientCode,Description, dbo.FormatDateTime(Started, 'HH:MMS 12') as Started, dbo.FormatDateTime(Ended, 'HH:MMS 12') as Ended, CONVERT(varchar,TimeTaken,108) AS TotalTimeSpentFROM dbo.Journal JLEFT OUTER JOIN dbo.Categories C ON J.CategoryID = C.CategoryIDWHERE--DATENAME(weekday, Started) =@Weekday AND Started >= @StartDate ORDER BY Day, Category, Started
I have two field and I need to find the sum I guess of them. One is called the clm_dout (process date) and the other one is clm_rcvd (received Date). These are both date and time fields and it looks like this 2006-03-17 00:00:00.000. I need to create a formula that wiil i guess give me the difference and create it into hour and minutes because I an trying to create a turn around report. this is what I had...
TimeValue({clm_doubt}-{clm_rcvd})
This is not working for me. Can someone give me a suggestion please.
I have to calculate the total working hours between days, there hours must get automatically round off to nearest value example:
Date :12-05-2013 time : 4:15 will change to 4.00 and if Date :13-05-2013 time: 4:25 then needs to 4.30 and sum the above total hours and results Total : 8.30 hrs.
I have written a function that returns the number of Days, Hours and minutes from a given number of minutes. On testinf the results are close but not quite there. Can anyone see where I have gone wrong or is there an easier way of doing this? Code is as follows:
CREATE FUNCTION dbo.GetTimeBetweenLong (@StartTime DateTime, @EndTime DateTime, @CurrentDate DateTime) RETURNS VarChar(50) AS BEGIN DECLARE @TotalTime Numeric DECLARE @Minutes Numeric DECLARE @Hours Numeric DECLARE @Days Numeric DECLARE @MinutesInDays Numeric
IF @EndTime IS NULL BEGIN SET @Days = DATEDIFF(Day, @StartTime, @CurrentDate) SET @Hours = DATEDIFF(Hour, @StartTime, @CurrentDate) - (@Days * 24) SET @Minutes = DATEDIFF(Minute, @StartTime, @CurrentDate) - ((@Days * 24)*60) - (@Hours * 60) END ELSE BEGIN SET @Days = DATEDIFF(Day, @StartTime, @EndTime) SET @Hours = DATEDIFF(Hour, @StartTime, @EndTime) - (@Days * 24) SET @Minutes = DATEDIFF(Minute, @StartTime, @EndTime) - ((@Days * 24)*60) - (@Hours * 60) END
IF(@Days <0) BEGIN SET @Days = @Days - @Days - @Days END
IF (@Hours < 0) BEGIN SET @Hours = @Hours - @Hours - @Hours END
IF (@Minutes <0) BEGIN SET @Minutes = @Minutes - @Minutes - @Minutes END
This is my scenario: a Cube in SSAS, dimension time with an attribute "cdate" defined as datetime, model deployed using "Generate Model" option of Report Server.
Querying in Report Builder: only _date attribute of time dimension is selected. Filter use _date fields , from ...to option is selected, from the calendar I select from 1 january 2007 to 10 january 2007, results a list of dates between 1 january 2007 to 1 October 2007!!!
When I select from 1 january 2007 to 15 january 2007 the list is correct!!!
Clearly it interchange days and months in first case, and do it right in second case.
What is it about? it's about Report Server settings? SQL Server settings? .Net Settings? Windows Settings?
IF EXISTS (SELECT * FROM sys.objects WHERE object_id = OBJECT_ID(N'[dbo].[table_Data]') AND type in (N'U')) DROP TABLE [dbo].[table_Data] GO /****** Object: Table [dbo].[table_Data] Script Date: 04/21/2015 22:07:49 ******/ SET ANSI_NULLS ON GO SET QUOTED_IDENTIFIER ON GO IF NOT EXISTS (SELECT * FROM sys.objects WHERE object_id = OBJECT_ID(N'[dbo].[table_Data]') AND type in (N'U'))
I have a table with sample data as shown in the table below. for each month end date, I need to aggregate (sum) all the quantities for each product and customer and include the current month plus the past 12 months (including current month).
For example, for customer C123, P123 and for 7/31/2015, the query should add 7/31/2015 quantity and the quantity for 1/31/2015.
DECLARE @TEMP TABLE (Customer VARCHAR (10), Product VARCHAR(10), Month_end_date DATE, Quantity INT) INSERT INTO @TEMP VALUES ('C123','P123','1/31/2015',10) INSERT INTO @TEMP VALUES ('C124','P124','2/28/2015',20) INSERT INTO @TEMP VALUES ('C125','P125','3/31/2015',30) INSERT INTO @TEMP VALUES ('C126','P126','4/30/2015',40)
[Code] ....
the output for the above example should be C123 P123 7/31/2015 70+10=80
I have a date into format YYYYMM. Data type is int. I need to make query where every time it will return me last 3 months, but without current one. For example I have data for months below
201510 201509 201508 201507
Query should return all records for 201509, 201508, 201507.
I was trying lot of solutions founded in internet like this one:
i'm trying to capture data for every hour and would like to display the hours of the day in a column.
select case when (datepart(hh,calldate) between 0 and 7AM then 1 else 0 end as [12-7AM], case when (datepart(hh,calldate) = 8 then 1 else 0 end as [8AM] from table1 where cast(calldate as date) = cast(calldate as date)
My goal is to show the most recent 12 months of data including the current month based on a patients discharge date (relative to the query execution time). There could be many years of data so I want to be sure I am pulling the most recent 12 monthsThis seems to work (on the surface anyway … not quite sure if this is the best logic to use).
I have table A(year int, month int, user varchar(20)), and I am trying to write a view that would show number of distinct users in the last 3 months, last 6 months, last 9 months and last 12 months(all from the most recent year/month) in following format:
I'm stuck on converting a datetime field to Int. Basically, one of the fields in the select returns the datetime of a journey. However I need to be able to add up the number of days for a specific person who done that journey, e.g. it will return 21/08/2014, 22/08/2014 etc...
I then need to total up the days as a new field to display the number of days.
Can you do this by converting a datetime to int then use COUNT on the int?
I don't know if this can be done, but hopefully one of the experts in this forum cna help me out.
I have a TimeOff table which contains 5 fields: timeoffID, employeename, startdate, enddate, and timofftype. I need to create a report which shows how many people take sick day (one of the timeofftypes) on each week day (i.e. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and etc.) The problem is that I don't know how to convert the date range (from startdate to enddate) into indvidual week day for each timeoff record.
For example, on the table,
TimeoffID employeename startdate enddate timeofftype 1 Andy 11/02/2006 11/03/2006 Sick Day 2 Bill 11/03/2006 11/03/2006 Sick Day
CREATE TABLE Car ( carId Char (20) NOT NULL, model Char (20) NOT NULL, importDate smalldatetime NOT NULL, custId Varchar (50) NOT NULL, CONSTRAINT Car_PK PRIMARY KEY (carId));
I have simple query that works fine if I write it every time. I want to get this one time group by each year and week ending. here us the query:
Select count(distinct ID) from table1 where year<=2015 and WeekEnding<='05/09'
Select count(distinct ID) from table1 where year<=2015 and WeekEnding<='05/16'
Select count(distinct ID) from table1 where year<=2015 and WeekEnding<='05/23'
How can I get the count for each week year and each week ending? Weekending 05/16 will include ID's from weekending 05/09 as well and week ending 05/23 will include all the ID's from 05/16 and 05/09 and so on...
A vehicle loading confirm after that what time its gated out so i want to take the time duration between finish loading and gate out, find sample table records , i want to take more than 5 hrs difference between finish loading and gate out.
I need to find the missing months in a table for the earliest and latest start dates per ID_No. As an example:
create table #InputTable (ID_No int ,OccurMonth datetime) insert into #InputTable (ID_No,OccurMonth) select 10, '2007-11-01' Union all select 10, '2007-12-01' Union all select 10, '2008-01-01' Union all select 20, '2009-01-01' Union all select 20, '2009-02-01' Union all select 20, '2009-04-01' Union all select 30, '2010-05-01' Union all select 30, '2010-08-01' Union all select 30, '2010-09-01' Union all select 40, '2008-03-01'
Insert Into Table2 Select * From Table1 Where Column1Val = '4'
As you can see, I don't need any parameters so I havent configured any. Also, there should not be any result set so I shouldnt need to configure a resultset parameter.
Why is the above query failing with
Problems with the query, "ResultSet" property not set correctly, parameters not set correctly, or connection not established correctly
I have created table called Login in sql server where i have column usercode, email and login_date (login_date is datetime type)So, i created web application using .net. whenever user logged in, i am allowing based userLoged table and i am inserting into login table.
