This isn't a sql server question, but as i'm new to the whole forum thing, i was wondering what private messages are for..? Presumably they're not just there for fun?!
Thought i'd better find out before i end up being told off for misuse, or something...

I'm using Idera's SQL Diagnostic Manager and its showing me my index isusing the File Group "Primary" (which I recently read is bad) and Ihave 3 index levels with some Data values having in excess of 700Krows.Is this bad and should I be worried? Is there some housekeeping Ishould do in these situations?TIARob
View 4 Replies View RelatedAnyone support a config where you have an unix/linux (AIX here) ODBC client connection to SQL Server database? I am looking for a simple, supportable configuration that does not require me to learn perl or instal a bunch of crap gnu shareware on enterprise class machines.
