Updated to Windows 10 from Windows 8,1 on a Dell computer. Have been getting error code of 0x800706be on for Windows Mail, People, and Calendar. All worked fine with Windows 8.1. This is the only issue with Windows 10.
For months I have had a problem on my Windows Phone where when I sync my account manually it pops up with an error (and does sync) saying it's not been synced for 2 months (which is not true). My other two accounts don't have this issue. It was never a problem on the PC (Win 8). However, on Windows 10 Mail app I'm getting errors with that account (not the others though). It showed error 80070490 and referenced Windows Phone, even though I'm on a PC.
when I change my sync setting of Gmail in windows 10 mail app, ie; sync mails from any time, it stop synchronizing the mails . It happens both in Gmail normal emails as well as gmail app mails.
I have had Win 10 for a few weeks now. The Mail and calander app have never worked. I get the error code 0x80070005. I am the administrator of my desktop. I have asked this question elswhere and got no where. I can get my emails via my browser.
Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro does fine. Core i7-4500U 256 SSD 8 GB or RAM
This may be more of a networking issue and how the Mail App communicates over the network. I am not able to sync any of my email accounts with the Mail app. Thus far, I have only attempted two different Gmail accounts. I followed one thread and disabled the firewall temporarily: this did the trick. However, I would rather not disable my firewall so very often... is there a more permanent workaround?
I am not using Windows Defender fyi. I am using 2015 AVG Internet Security. I attempted to add the Mail app to the list of applications that could bypass the firewall by going to AVG Options -> Firewall Settings -> Applications, but the Mail App is not very easy to find... I checked the most obvious place: Windows -> SystemApps and didn't know where else to look.
When I first loaded windows 10 everything worked great now I can't get my email through the mail app. I try to sync it and after awhile I get the message error code 0x8007274D.
I've configured several e-mail accounts in Mail. Three of them are Microsoft Outlook accounts and two are Gmail accounts. For each account I've set Mail to:
(a) Fetch new messages as they arrive (b) Download messages from all time
There is no other special setting. However, Mail never seems to fetch anything automatically as they arrive. In fact, I always receive my e-mail on my phone long before they show up in my inbox. As a test, for most of yesterday and today I waited about an hour after messages arrived in my phone, and each time I found that until I had manually synced the account, the messages did not appear in Mail.
Some additional information : I am certain that my Internet connection is working, because I get Skype messages in real time; I am sure my computer has the correct drivers, because not only did I install everything from the manufacturer's site, I even ensured that there were no errors in Device Manager; my computer has plenty of RAM and CPU horsepower. There is no reason for Mail not to sync except if it has a bug.
the mail app refuses to sync my university's account although I added all the details. The app says its for "security reasons" not sure what that means
My mail app won't auto sync in Windows 10. I am logged in with my windows ID but my mail I primarily use is from my ISP. So I set it up and all emails came through, it works. Apart from auto sync, I have it set to every 15 mins but it doesn't do it. If I launch the mail app later on it won't automatically pull in my new emails, I have to force a manual refresh all the time. I have changed the sync settings about but nothing makes it work. I googled around and some suggestions were to ensure privacy settings looked correct, which they are. Am I missing something obvious here? The mail app works but only on a manual refresh basis.
Trying to set up my outlook in the Win 10 mail app...have all settings enter3ed correctly...including Outlook password for my cox email account...but every time I try to sync...sync window 10 just spins..Bigger issue is if I check the password for my outlook (Cox) account...the number of characters has doubled in Win 10 Mail settings ??My Outlook account for this mail box has 9 characters...works fine in Outlook 2003...
But when I check the password in the mail app...more than 12 characters-*'s show up in Win 10 app for password.Have deleted and added outlook mail pop a number of times...but after 'save'...I always get a much longer 'password'(*****etc) in settings than was entered in setup ?
To Sync your email to Outlook after doing some email maintenance, hit the refresh button. I have attached a view of the button for reference. Note if you also are looking to manage your folders from Windows Mail, I have found that I need to do that from within Outlook. Unless someone has found another way....
I've upgraded my HP Envy Ultrabook with preinstalled Windows 8 to Windows 10 about a month ago. All works enough smoothly - except the intrinsic Windows Mail & Calendar apps. They don't sync their contents automatically, even with my main Microsoft account linked to my Outlook.com email!
I tried different mailbox sync settings ("as items arrive", "every 15 minutes", etc.) - nothing works. I tried to disconnect my local account from Microsoft account, and even created a new user from scratch - no result again.
The auto-sync also does not work for other mail accounts, not only for Outlook.com. Sometimes I even get the following error when trying to sync manually .....
Does microsoft assume everyone is a computer wizard? I've finally managed to import my other email addresses into my mail app but no matter how many times I tweak the settings in privacy etc. I keep getting message "not synced yet". How I can resolve this?
After I uninstalled catalyst control centre (because I was having problems with it). When I restarted my mouse and keyboard weren't working. So I tried a ps2 kb and mouse and this worked. I went to device manager a looked at the USB devices, all of them had a yellow warning sign next to the devices. I checked each one and they all had error 39 (missing or corrupted drivers). I tried updating and uninstalling the devices with no avail. How can I fix this?
I upgraded to W10 a few weeks ago from W7. All went well.
Then 2 days ago i got the windows error code oxc000021a, and the computer wouldn't start. Couldn't get into safe mode, and repair didn't work either. Really annoying. I've had to reinstall windows 7. I can still see my windows 10 old install saved under windows.old.
I don't have any option yet to re-upgrade to W10, despite putting all the updates on W7 again. What can I do to get W10 again and recover my data from windows.old?
Every time i try to upgrade to windows 10 i get an error:
Upgrade to Windows 10 Home
Installation date: 8/8/2015 4:42 AM
Installation status: Failed
Error details: Code C1900101
Any fix that actually works so i don't have to try 100 things. The only thing to note is i have two drives, one is an ssd which is where my current windows is installed and its path is E, not C, just wondering if that may be the problem.
I tried to upgrade to Windows 10 from pro 7. When going online I get this message....
explorer. exe - Application Error The instruction at 0x60B52556 referenced memory at 0x60B52556. The memory could not be written. Click ok to terminate the program.
If I close with the "x" I can continue. But when I close Firefox I get a black screen and have to restart. Anytime I use a program it does this. What to do.
I've got 8 apps in the windows store in queue for the last three days. Every time I open store and click on check updates I get this error message as shown below..
